Ethan revealed the secret of Hyperion and Elysium's origins to Null, who agreed to assist him. Null provided Ethan with powerful monsters and arranged access to a hidden sage village, while also neutralizing immediate threats. Ethan used the time granted to train, reaching level 90 and awakening his ninth talent: Reality Manipulation.

Ethan's eyes flickered open.

A subtle change passed through his gaze as consciousness fully returned, and though his body remained motionless, a newfound depth emanated from his presence. The internal energy had reconfigured itself, forming a more intricate and refined pattern than before. It wasn't a violent outward surge, nor was it inert. Instead, it existed in a state of controlled anticipation, seemingly awaiting a command.

"I've acquired another supreme talent. I wonder, if this is the ninth, what will the ultimate one be?" he pondered internally.

The question resonated in his mind with significant weight. It wasn't mere curiosity or simple excitement. Each talent he had obtained thus far had fundamentally altered his perception of power, suggesting that the tenth, if this was just the ninth, could not be ordinary. It wouldn't simply be more potent; it would likely shatter the existing framework of his understanding.

His eyes narrowed slightly as he directed his focus inward. The omniscient core within him began to stir, emitting faint waves of perception that penetrated unseen layers of reality.

He attempted to glimpse his future regarding this new talent, but found nothing.

There was no obstruction, no distortion—simply, a void.

The omniscient core proved inoperative concerning this specific talent, despite its ability to retrieve information about Elysium and its history.

Ethan remained silent for a moment, absorbing the implications.

"Regardless, I'll understand it when the time comes. For now, however, some trouble is heading my way," he mused.

Ethan rose to his feet as Veldanava and the Aurora Clan Founder were approaching him.

Even before he had fully stood, his senses had already pinpointed their presence. One exuded an overwhelming pressure, dense and suffocating, like a compressed storm. The other felt sharper, colder, and far more deliberate.

For reasons unknown, Veldanava harbored a peculiar interest in him after learning of his escape from the clan.

Locating him proved no challenge for someone of Veldanava's caliber, especially since Ethan was confined to the continent.

"In any case, I have an ally now, so I might as well savor this moment," he thought, retrieving the device Null had provided.

Without hesitation, he activated it.

Boom!

An immense sound instantly reverberated through the garden.

The ground shook as a shockwave radiated outward. Trees swayed violently, and the very air seemed to vibrate under the immense pressure.

"Lucious, are you truly going to fight me over an ant? Is he that significant?" an amused voice inquired.

"Veldanava, if you wish to avoid your own destruction, depart this place immediately, or even you will be unable to manage the ensuing chaos," Lucious's childish voice retorted.

"Hmph, my destruction? Are you perhaps referring to yourself? Do not overestimate your capabilities. I am vastly stronger than you. Let not your ego lead you to ruin simply because you bear a grand title," Veldanava scoffed coldly.

"Then let us fight," Lucious stated icily.

He desired to gain favor with Ethan, who was now an invincible ally.

Boom!

Veldanava struck directly, his annoyance palpable.

Two cataclysmic forces clashed.

The impact warped the surroundings. Shockwaves propagated in every direction, lacerating the garden and convulsing the earth beneath.

Ethan observed the unfolding battle from a distance.

[Name: Veldanava (Dragon)Level: 203]

"So he's three levels higher than him," Ethan mused.

Though a three-level disparity might seem minor, it represented a chasm as vast as the heavens and the earth.

Lucious crashed to the ground, spitting blood.

"Then let us engage in a proper duel," Lucious roared.

Instantly, his diminutive form began to morph into that of an adult.

[Name: Lucious AugustusLevel: 202]

He had leveled up twice, yet the gap persisted.

Boom!

He vanished from his spot and reappeared behind Veldanava.

Even Veldanava displayed surprise.

"How did he accomplish that?" Ethan inquired.

[He employed his ultimate talent, Absolute Speed, enabling him to move at a speed one level higher than his opponent, provided the opponent is within one to five levels above him.]

Ethan nodded in understanding.

In that instance, Lucious had exhibited the speed of a being at level 204.

However, before Lucious could land his strike, Veldanava flashed a devilish grin.

Then, he threw a punch.

His hand morphed into that of a dragon.

Lucious was sent flying as if he were a mere ragdoll.

Veldanava had already commenced his transformation into his true form.

A dark dragon.

[Name: True Form of VeldanavaLevel: 205]

"Why do these individuals constantly suppress their levels?" Ethan thought, finding the situation somewhat baffling.

But then, an immense sense of danger washed over him.

"Shit, I almost forgot the Founder was here too," he realized with a jolt.

"Why did you flee? Did I not treat you well? Why would you not trust me?" the Founder’s enraged voice echoed in his ears.

Ethan sensed an impending attack but lacked the speed to evade or the strength to defend.

He shut his eyes, attempting to utilize his time or reality manipulation talents, yet neither proved effective.

His adversary operated on an entirely different plane of existence.

"Then I shall take you down with me, at the very least," Ethan resolved inwardly.

Immediately, he activated his Gray Mist Production ability.

The Founder, just moments from striking Ethan, was suddenly gripped by an existential dread. Though not overpowering, it was sufficient to cause a crucial hesitation.

And that moment of hesitation was all the time Ethan required.

A diminutive figure materialized between Ethan and the Founder.

"You are quite the troublemaker, my friend," Null remarked with an amused tone.

Upon hearing that voice, the Founder’s soul nearly leaped from his body in sheer terror. He desperately tried to halt his fist, but it was far too late.

Bam!

The fist struck Null, or more accurately, the ethereal barrier encircling him.

The impact, which should have annihilated everything, was completely negated. The barrier remained unblemished, not even a tremor betraying the force it had absorbed.

"Pathetic insect," Null scoffed.

Before the Founder could even plead for his life, his body disintegrated into a gruesome spray of blood.

"Thank you," Ethan expressed, offering a slight bow.

"No need. Shall I eliminate that lizard for you as well?" Null inquired.

"Let us hold off. He will come here. You now understand that I possess a perilous talent, and his master wields a similar one. He has come for me. Now that I have unleashed this power, he will undoubtedly appear," Ethan explained.

"Indeed. It is a formidable talent you possess, particularly when combined with your intellect. It fundamentally erodes the laws of existence," Null acknowledged with a nod.

Far in the distance, Veldanava suddenly perceived the presence of the Gray Mist and turned his gaze toward Ethan’s location.

"Hahahaha... found you," he bellowed with laughter.

His colossal dragon form receded, transforming back into a humanoid shape as he hurtled towards Ethan.

He was incapable of detecting Null, whose presence Null had expertly concealed.

"Little wretch, so you were the true target. Come with me now. My master desires an audience with you."

He extended a hand to seize Ethan, proceeding as if Ethan’s consent was entirely irrelevant.

However, once more, Null intervened, positioning himself between them.

Veldanava halted abruptly and recoiled.

"Lord Null, why are you present?" he stammered, his voice laced with dread.

Even his master held this being in awe, leaving him utterly petrified.

"He is under my protection. Cease your harassment, or I shall not hesitate to pay your castle a visit," Null stated with chilling finality.

"Yes... yes. I shall inform my master," Veldanava agreed, vanishing with the utmost haste.

"Have you concluded your affairs, or shall I wait here?" Null inquired.

"I believe I shall manage now. I will summon you later," Ethan replied.

"Very well," Null responded, casting a final glance at Lucious.

"You have performed admirably. Accept this token."

He tossed a fruit towards Lucious.

Lucious caught it, his eyes widening in astonishment.

It was a Terranova fruit, capable of instantly elevating a being's cultivation level by up to three stages.

He swallowed with difficulty. With this, he could achieve the same cultivation realm as the First Hero.

"Thank you, my lord. Thank you," he expressed, prostrating himself repeatedly.

Null disappeared without further utterance.

Ethan sat down, reactivating his temporal field.

His immediate goal was to attain Level 100.

Seven days elapsed.

[Ding! You have attained Level 100.]

[Ding! Your ultimate talent has been awakened.]

[Infinite Ascension: Upon activation, you will match your enemy's level for thirty minutes, irrespective of their power. However, following the duration's end, your body will endure near-complete paralysis for ten days.]
