My attributes are increasing infinitely Chapter 410: Entering the Dragon world

Previously on My attributes are increasing infinitely...
After surviving an encounter with Erebus, Ethan successfully copies the entity's peak power through the system, elevating himself to the strength of a Top-Tier Source Authority being. While his main body remains in seclusion to cultivate and refine bloodlines over millennia in an accelerated time field, his clone travels toward the Dragon Origin World to rescue Rose. Along the way, Ethan confronts a legendary Space Behemoth, only to discover the terrifying creature is actually a small, fluffy being named Astaroth. After a brief show of overwhelming force, Ethan forcibly recruits the creature as a familiar and continues his journey across the void.

Ten days passed in a flash.

Ethan arrived at the outermost edge of the Origin World.

As his awareness skimmed the boundary, a peculiar realization struck him. Every Origin World possessed a definite starting point, yet they seemed to lack any finality. While not technically infinite, their expansion appeared to have no end. The further one ventured, the more the world stretched out, as if the very concept of distance was a trick intended to dwarf even an Eternal Sovereign.

Its sheer scale was enough to make the passage of time feel meaningless.

Ethan looked down at the tiny, furry beast sitting on his shoulder. Its round form trembled slightly as it gripped his collar with miniature paws.

"Hey, Puffin," Ethan said in a relaxed, casual tone. "Have you visited this place before?"

The small furball gave a shake of its head. Shimmering, soft fur rippled as it answered in a timid, childlike voice.

"I haven't. I'm scared of trouble. I usually stayed within my own borders and frightened others away so they wouldn't disturb me."

Ethan let out a soft laugh.

"So that’s how it was." He reached up, gently stroking Puffin’s head. "Well, there is no need for fear anymore. We shall explore every Origin World together and see their wonders. Your mistress will be joining us as well."

Puffin’s eyes sparkled immediately, shining like tiny celestial bodies.

"Understood, Master. Thank you for being so kind to me," it answered, its voice brimming with pure joy.

Throughout the last ten days, Ethan had grasped one undeniable fact.

This creature—a terror of the Source Authority level capable of making entire realms quake—was fundamentally a child. Its consciousness was youthful, pure, and full of wonder.

More significantly, it belonged to a species unknown to him. Ethan was certain that a child of an original race would never be born at the Source Authority realm; only their ancestors reached such heights.

This led to a single conclusion.

This beast did not descend from any known original race.

Where, then, did it originate?

Ethan’s eyes narrowed as he focused on the path ahead.

"Let’s go inside."

Just as he moved toward the world’s edge, the fabric of space rippled violently before him.

A gateway manifested in his path.

Ethan stopped instantly.

He remained still, not even releasing his aura. His instincts, which had been forged beyond the laws of causality, signaled that something was coming through.

After a few moments, a massive head forced its way out of the portal.

It was the head of a dragon.

Then a second appeared. Then a third.

Soon, five gargantuan dragon heads were visible, each marked by a different element. One flared with scarlet fire, another gleamed with blue frost, a third hissed with lightning, the fourth breathed out toxic fumes, and the fifth was wrapped in absolute shadows.

Eventually, the rest of the massive body emerged.

It was a titanic five-headed dragon, its physique appearing like a fusion of ancient draconic lineages. Scales resembling forged divine steel armored its body, and its gaze held the profound weight of countless eons.

The aura radiating from it crashed forward like a tsunami.

An Eternal Sovereign.

And certainly not a weak one.

Ethan calmly adjusted his presence, intentionally masking his power to the level of the Axiom Dominion realm. Puffin followed suit, hiding its aura within the Genesis realm.

The five-headed dragon lowered its long necks, every eye locking onto Ethan.

"Wayfarer," it spoke, its deep, masculine voice echoing through the vacuum of space. "Welcome to the Dragon World. I am Sheron, Guardian of the Gate. Is it your wish to enter?"

Internally, Ethan raised an eyebrow.

'Oh? There is a guardian stationed here? Interesting.'

On the surface, he kept his expression polite.

"Yes, sir. We would like to enter."

Sheron scrutinized Ethan, its multiple gazes analyzing him from various angles.

"For an Axiom Dominion practitioner to pass, the fee is five thousand Origin Coins," Sheron declared flatly. "For that pet of yours, it will be two thousand Origin Coins."

Ethan blinked in surprise.

"Origin Coins?" he asked, feeling genuinely perplexed. "What are those?"

Ethan couldn't even recall the last time he had interacted with something as basic as money. To him, the concept of wealth had long since become irrelevant.

Sheron stared at Ethan as if he were some strange anomaly.

"Don't tell me," the dragon rumbled slowly, its voice laced with shock, "that this is your very first time visiting an Origin World."

"That's right," Ethan answered truthfully. "Could you explain what they are? Also, if it's possible, can I offer treasures in exchange instead?"

Sheron’s mouth twisted into something resembling a smirk.

"A single Chaos Grade artifact is valued at ten thousand Origin Coins," it replied.

Ethan gave a nod.

"I see."

His actual strength resided at the Source Authority realm. To him, a Chaos Grade artifact was a mere trifle.

This meant he could produce one at a whim.

He reached into his storage ring.

In truth, he used his Authority of Creation to manifest the object directly. When he pulled his hand back out, he was clutching a golden brick.

Yes. A brick.

It was perfectly rectangular and pulsed with the unmistakable power of a Chaos Grade artifact.

Ethan didn't want to waste energy designing something beautiful.

He held it out.

"I don't have any Origin Coins. Is this acceptable?"

The moment the brick was revealed, a massive wave of Chaos Grade energy surged outward.

Sheron’s eyes widened instantly.

However, as the dragon took a closer look at the artifact, all five of its heads froze in place.

A second later, they all began to twitch simultaneously.

"Which idiot would create such rubbish and have the audacity to make it Chaos Grade?" Sheron bellowed, cursing loudly.

Ethan nearly laughed.

But the facts remained unchanged.

It was, without a doubt, a Chaos Grade artifact.

"Fine," Sheron grunted after a moment, sounding highly annoyed. "You may pass. Don't expect any change; this monstrosity isn't worth a full ten thousand Origin Coins."

"Thank you," Ethan said with sincerity.

He moved forward, crossing the threshold and officially stepping into the Dragon World.

As he entered, the signatures of countless dragons flickered across the horizon.

His goal was far in the distance.

The Ice Dragon Domain.

Rose was waiting there.

Ethan picked up speed, soaring at the velocity of light.

Even so, mental calculations quickly formed. At this pace, reaching the Ice Dragon Domain would take nearly five billion years.

He was capable of moving much faster. Far faster.

But doing so would mean traversing the territories of multiple sovereigns, and his top speed would surely draw unwanted eyes.

He preferred to remain unnoticed.

His true body was already the most hunted being across several planes of reality. If even a clone caught the attention of the One Above All, there was a chance he could be traced back to things he wasn't ready to reveal.

Thus, he held back.

Instead, he turned his attention toward a nearby landmark.

Flame City.

He could obtain Origin Coins through legitimate means there. Using teleportation networks would solve the problem of the massive distance.

Ethan decided he wanted to acquire ten billion Origin Coins.

With a thought, he manifested one million Chaos Grade artifacts. This time, he gave them proper shapes and functions, ensuring each one had practical utility.

He walked into a large auction house within Flame City.

"I have one million Chaos Grade artifacts," Ethan stated calmly. "Are you interested in purchasing them?"

The appraiser, a Fire Dragon in human form at the Genesis Realm, went stiff.

"What did you just say?" he whispered, gulping nervously. "Did you stumble upon the hidden vault of an Eternal Sovereign?"

"That doesn't concern you," Ethan said coldly. "Do you want them or not?"

"Of course, sir," the dragon replied quickly. "However, we don't have that much liquid currency on hand. There is a major auction tonight. Would you be willing to wait until it's over?"

Ethan nodded.

"I can wait."

While standing in the auction house, Ethan took in his surroundings.

The city was teeming with dragons.

Yet every one of them was walking around in a humanoid form.

This was no accident.

The humanoid shape was the most versatile and efficient form in existence. Following the birth of the human race, every other species had slowly learned to adopt it.

Efficiency was the ultimate law.

And he intended to elevate the human race itself into an original race.
