My attributes are increasing infinitely Chapter 368: Court martial
Previously on My attributes are increasing infinitely...
Ethan entered the portal without any hesitation.
His three followers also followed him inside the portal.
When they came out, they were standing in a huge room.
The room was at least one kilometer long and five hundred meters in width, and fifty meters in height.
There was a desk in front of him where seven seats could be seen. The middle one was the grandest among them.
But that was not the end.
There were projectors around the room, and each one was showing a group of people.
They were the audience.
Ethan was now standing in a courtroom. As soon as he appeared in the room, the entire place lit up brightly.
The seven judges appeared on their seats.
Ethan looked at them calmly. The middle one was a seventy second dimensional Sovereign, and as for the other six, they were all Sector Lords.
"May I know why the Supreme Judge wants to eliminate me?" Ethan asked while looking toward the judges.
"You have committed crimes after crimes. First, you used your power and made countless people homeless. Then you did not heed the order of the Supreme Judge. What more reason do you need?" one of the assistant judges, who was a Sector Lord, asked coldly.
Ethan could not help but smile.
"I am just a weak person who just happened to have a powerful butler. But this little incident of taking over a planet should not attract the attention of a Sovereign and Sector Lords. It should be beneath you to even talk to such a lowly person as me.
What is the real reason? At least tell me before you kill me," he asked with that same smile.
"Do you think we are unfair to you? A lowly being like you dares to judge us?" one of the Sector Lords roared at him.
Even they did not know why the Monarch was paying attention to this ant.
The Monarch was the god of this world, and they were his angels to carry out his orders. Nothing else mattered to them.
Ethan looked at them carefully to see if they were doing this on their own or simply following someone else’s order.
He instantly understood that they had no idea about what was really going on.
"Very well then. Do what you want to do." Ethan put his hands behind his back and relaxed his body.
The audience all belonged to the groups of gods’ followers from the celestial planet he had driven away.
The setup was like this. The judges were upholding justice for these people.
"They could have killed me instantly, or at least tried to, but they are acting here. Something is not letting them do this without constraints," Ethan thought.
He had already scanned this entire world, but there was only one Emperor level entity. If he was not wrong, that entity was playing the mastermind role here.
Then what was the thing they were afraid of doing in the light? Why did they need to become cheap actors?
Ethan wanted to know this.
"You have accepted your crime?" one of the judges asked with a cold tone.
"Of course. I did make them lose their home planet. You should punish me." Ethan wanted to see what they would do when they found out that they could not harm him at all.
"You should die for committing such a heinous crime against other life forms in the world. I, Remond Ethnic, the Supreme Judge of this world, now sentence you to death." Only then did the chief judge finally speak, and that was his death order.
The audience cheered. That bastard had gotten his punishment for defying their gods. Now they wanted to see how he would be killed.
Soon, five entities appeared in the court to take Ethan and his followers away to complete the order.
One of them tried to grab Ethan’s hand, but one centimeter away from him, his hand stopped. It could not move any further.
He thought that maybe he had used too little force, so he started increasing the strength in his grip, but still, nothing happened.
"What are you doing? Why are you wasting everyone’s time?" the leader among them asked with an irritated look.
He was the leader of the Hall of Punishment, a Sector Lord level being.
The entity they were killing today was a top priority target, so he wanted to gain the favor of the higher ups by doing this perfectly.
But his subordinate was embarrassing him in front of the judges.
"Sir, I cannot grab his hand," his subordinate said with a forced smile.
"What the heck are you talking about?" the leader roared at his subordinate.
A fifty seventh dimensional being could not drag away a lowly sixth dimensional being. What could be more shameful than this?
Ethan was still smiling.
He suddenly snapped his fingers, and a grand throne appeared behind him.
He sat on it with an elegant motion.
He watched the scene as if it had nothing to do with him.
The judges, as well as the audience, were completely dumbfounded.
What the hell was going on?
"Get lost from here, you bastard," the leader kicked away his subordinate and appeared in front of Ethan himself.
"Who gave you permission to sit down in front of the Supreme Judge?" he roared at Ethan.
"Hey, Ragnarok, which food did you enjoy the most?" Ethan asked Ragnarok, who was standing by his side. He acted as if the leader was an invisible bug.
"My lord, I enjoyed the beef cutlet the most," Ragnarok replied with a smile.
The leader felt his face burning with shame and rage.
He was being humiliated in front of everyone. He could not take it anymore.
"Die!"
He directly attacked Ethan’s head.
He wanted to feel blood in his hand, but nothing like that happened.
It was as if he had punched empty space.
He looked at his fist. It had hit something. He could clearly see that it had landed on Ethan’s head. Then why was he completely fine?
Everyone then saw that a barrier was surrounding Ethan like a coating.
His fist had landed on the barrier.
The leader’s eyes widened. This was definitely not normal. He knew how much force he had put into that punch.
"What are you doing, Rel? Are you here to mock His Highness the Supreme Judge’s order?" a junior judge roared at the leader.
Rel now felt exactly what his subordinate had felt earlier.
"Bastard, what kind of trick are you playing? Let me kill you simply, or I will torture you so much that you will beg for death," he could only threaten now.
Then his eyes landed on Ragnarok, who was standing there with a poised look on his face.
Seeing that calm expression while he himself was being embarrassed made Rel go crazy with anger.
That lowly butler was not even looking at him.
"Beef cutlet, huh? I liked the curry with rice better. The ice cream was good too," Ethan replied.
He did not even react when Rel punched him.
"Master, I liked the chicken fry with that special sauce," suddenly the cat on Ethan’s shoulder chimed in with a baby voice.
Ethan patted the glossy fur of the cat and said with a smile, "You did? Then we will have to ask Noer to cook the dish again."
"As you wish, my master. I will cook all the food you want," Noer bowed.
He was seeing Ethan’s power for the first time.
He knew Ethan was powerful, but he had never known the limit.
The entity attacking Ethan was a Sector Lord. That much he knew.
"Master is truly omnipotent," reverence appeared on Noer’s face.
Rel did not say anything else and directly attacked Ragnarok. He wanted to see blood. The blood of these bastards.
But his fist did not connect with Ragnarok either.
Ragnarok looked at him with annoyance.
"What is your problem, bug? Can you make less noise? Can you not see that my lord is having an important conversation with us?"
He was a demon after all. The proud tone in his voice was something given from birth.
Ragnarok waved his hand as if swatting a mosquito.
Rel instantly turned into a lump of meat paste. His existence was erased directly from every timeline.
The entire place became pin drop silent.
The butler had just killed the leader of the Hall of Punishment like a bug.
"We have miscalculated. No wonder His Majesty ordered us to complete this task as soon as possible," one of the judges said with panic in his voice.
"You are too hot headed. You killed him like a bug. He was just doing his job," Ethan shook his head.
He then waved his hand.
In the next second, the man whose existence had just vanished instantly came back to life.
The Supreme Judge, Remond, stood up from his seat.
Immense terror filled his face.
He was not a fool. He understood exactly what had happened.
That being had just brought back a dead Sector Lord whose entire existence had been erased moments ago.
He, a Sovereign, could not erase someone’s existence like that butler.
Let alone bring them back to life.
