The space cube was a treasure Ethan found in the 3rd dimensional level of the Origin Dimension.

And then it recognized him as master after a while.

It didn’t have any other function other than storing, though it could store trillions of people.

So he never tried to search its background properly.

"Hey Nini, can you become even more powerful?" Ethan asked curiously.

"Yes master. I am just 1 percent fixed till now and that number is also not sure. I think I am missing a major part of myself."

"Is that so? Then what do you need to become powerful?"

"Master, I need world source energy," Nini replied slowly.

"World source energy? Isn’t it the energy that runs the entire world? If I want to collect it, I’ll have to destroy them, right?" Ethan was unsure what to do.

"Master, that is certainly a way, but that is not the only way. I have awakened a memory, where there is a way to get source energy. That is to protect worlds from anomalies and take a certain amount of source energy as payment."

Ethan’s eyes lit up immediately. This would be aligned with his moral. Because destroying a world for his benefit wasn’t something he could do.

"But how do I know which world would need help?" Ethan’s joy immediately died down.

"Master, that I don’t know. Maybe you will have to travel to different worlds to find out this type of world. If you find one, you can just contact its will if it is willing to hire you," Nini suggested to him.

Then he created one such device for each clone and let them teleport from there.

They would travel across the infinite dark space and would find different worlds.

If they found any world which had power reading less than his own, he would enter there to check, and if they needed help, he would help them and spread the name of his organisation, "Fate Watchers".

With that, every clone vanished from there and started finding worlds which might need his help.

Ragnarok appeared on the island.

"Young master, the egg is hatched and this little thing came out from there."

Ethan looked at the light sphere in Ragnarok’s hand.

Something was captured inside it, which was trying to go outside violently, but all its effort was futile.

Ethan waved his hand and the sphere floated to his hand.

The creature that came out from the egg was something like the golden horned cosmic behemoth from Swallowed Star, but it was completely dark.

And in its chest, there was a swirling black hole.

It looked terrifying.

"This thing is magnificent."

Ethan liked it very much. He wanted to pet it. But he didn’t because he could see that among the countless patterns it had, there was a pattern which looked unaligned to the others.

That pattern belonged to another entity and that pattern was the main pattern of this monster.

"It is probably the pattern of its creator. I’ll pet it after I gain a little power of manipulation of patterns in the 5th dimensional realm," Ethan thought in his mind.

He had calculated that 0.1 percent source of existence needed 5 months to complete.

That meant in 50 months, he would be able to break through to the 5th dimensional realm. Once he did, he would get the ability to influence these patterns a little bit.

Like someone’s nature was very brave and wild. Ethan would be able to influence that bravery pattern to make him more brave or less brave. Of course that entity would have to be weaker than him.

Ethan was looking forward to it.

In this time field, 5 months were similar to 50 months, so he would be able to break through in 5 months.

Ethan closed his eyes to start the cycle of his Infinite Ascension Sutra.

One of Ethan’s clones was flying in space. The worlds were countless light years away from each other.

But with his power, he could fly with unimaginable speed.

But they chose to use teleportations.

They first spread their ultimate domain, and checked inside that. If there was nothing, they would simply teleport to a place outside of the domain and again start scanning.

One particular clone found a little world which fit his requirement. It had energy reading less than his own.

So he went toward it and released a bit of his aura.

"Will of the world, do you need my help with something?" he asked directly.

If it didn’t have a will, then whom would he ask for payment?

"Sir, please, I need your help. I asked for help from many passing supreme beings, but no one was willing to help me," a female voice came out from it.

"Okay, before I hear your problem, I’ll take payment with source energy. If you still want my help, then tell me your problem. If not, there is no room for negotiations."

The will of the world became silent for a while. Ethan thought it would reject because source energy was the life energy of a world.

Ethan was just about to leave with a sigh, but then he heard the voice again.

"Alright sir. I am willing. May I ask how much do you want?" the will asked timidly.

"10 strands."

As soon as he said that, the will heaved a sigh of relief.

"Alright sir, I am willing. Will you listen now?"

"Okay then. Tell me."

The will started speaking slowly. After 1 hour, she finished telling her story.

This world was a magic world. There were three segments in this world.

The mortal realm, the higher realm and the death realm.

Mortals were born with magic affinities, then they become powerful slowly.

After one reached 5th dimensional level, they could ascend to the higher realm. The death realm was also a higher realm.

But a few thousand years ago, suddenly the world mana started to become poisonous. So it had to suppress its mana to the point that it almost became withered.

It didn’t know where the poison came from.

And because it suppressed the mana, only a handful of people could become magus. And it couldn’t suppress the poison much longer.

"Yumiko, can source energy make me stronger quickly?"
