Ye Yi'an's life force is fading rapidly, his meridians and organs failing beyond repair. Despite Mu Hanyan's efforts with a potent elixir, his body cannot absorb it, signaling the end is near. The people mourn Ye Yi'an's sacrifice, understanding he exhausted his Life Essence to activate the Divine Gifted Heavenly Power for their sake. Mu Hanyan is determined to find a way to save him, recalling a mysterious power that appeared previously, and retrieves a massive seed from her Star Disk Space.

Even without time to ponder carefully, Han Yan knew that this power was so mysterious and strange that none of the Magic Artifacts or Heavenly Materials and Earthly Treasures she possessed could provide such power. The only possibility was this mysterious seed whose true nature she was unaware of.

Just as Han Yan paused for a moment, the temple underfoot trembled slightly, and a faint, elusive light emanated from the seed, accompanied by a surge of wondrous resonance all around.

It was as if the seed resonated with Huayu Temple, and the entire universe responded to it in unison.

Vaguely, Han Yan experienced a curious feeling, as if the seed was part of her, for at the moment of resonance, her Mental State plunged into a wondrous clarity, or perhaps Chaos. It was as though drifting in the Void, wandering through Reincarnation, with memories flashing intermittently and broken, chaotic images flitting across her mind.

"What’s happening?" Just as Han Yan was filled with inexplicable surprise, a colossal force surged, and the seed indeed slipped from Han Yan’s palm, plummeting straight downward to the base of the temple.

Sikong Qinglan and others mistakenly thought Han Yan had grown excessively weak and accidentally dropped the seed, hastily reaching out to grab it. But the seed descended with such speed that they all missed it.

The rapidly falling seed traced a graceful light arc, and with a swoosh, it landed on the temple’s first floor and then burrowed into the earth, disappearing entirely without a trace.

"What’s happening?" An Xiaxin, unaware of the seed’s origin, exclaimed in surprise, but soon her face was replaced with shock.

"Wow!" Sikong Qinglan and Shen Yuhe, along with others, looked downward in surprise, their eyes widening.

Only to see a tiny green sprout breaking through the earth from the crevice between stone slabs, swaying gently in the breeze. With every sway, the tender green leaves spread further, growing sturdier.

As the breeze continually swept through, the sprout continued to grow, and in just a few breaths, a lush tree appeared in sight. The tree kept growing rapidly, soon surpassing the temple, with a massive trunk supporting thriving branches, like a canopy shrouding Huayu Temple.

The wind whistled through the foliage, producing a low moaning sound, desolate and distant, akin to a call from ancient times.

In the sky, a fine drizzle began to fall, the raindrops thin as silk strands, connecting in lines and dispersing a faint emerald hue under the moonlight and firelight.

Amidst this, everyone’s Mental State became clear and serene as if entering a fantastical and peaceful world.

At some point, the flames burning in the city quietly extinguished, and the drizzle fell upon the Earth, coalescing into springs, cleansing dust and bloodstains, purifying the entire world to an unparalleled state.

"My injuries are healed, completely healed! How is this possible?" exclaimed a severely wounded temple guard as he stood excitedly. His thigh had taken a cut, almost severing the bone, and he thought keeping his life meant living with lifelong disability. But now, the wound on his leg had healed, with only the skin at the wound site showing baby-like tenderness, somewhat distinct from the surrounding skin, with hardly any trace of injury.

"My injuries are healed too."

"And mine, I’m healed as well."

... Exclamations of shock and disbelief echoed throughout the city, as severely injured priests, guards, and civilians, each hanging by a thread, stood up one after another.

Even they were healed, not to mention the civilians with only minor injuries. Cheers erupted continuously, engulfing Huayu City in a sea of joy, with no sign of post-battle devastation and melancholy.

Ye Yi’an suddenly opened his eyes, restored to clarity, no longer enveloped in the previous oil-dried-lamp-extinguished-like Chaos.

"Master, you’re alright!" Han Yan exclaimed with delight as she looked at Ye Yi’an.

Even without utilizing strong Divine Sense, she could sense the surge of vitality emanating from Ye Yi’an. His once withered meridians and bones, seemingly newly born, regained infinite vigor, with his previously depleted qi and blood now abundant and flowing merrily within his veins.

"I’m alright now. I thought fate was unchangeable this time, but I unexpectedly survived," Ye Yi’an exclaimed, tears of joy brimming in his eyes, his hands trembling slightly.

"As long as you’re alright, that’s all that matters." Han Yan nearly burst into tears of joy, for if Ye Yi’an had truly perished before her eyes, it would have been a lifelong regret.

"This... could this be the legendary Life Ancient Tree?" Ye Yi’an gazed at the tree shrouding Huayu Temple, speaking in a trembling voice.

"Life Ancient Tree!" Han Yan had focused entirely on Ye Yi’an’s physical transformation, not having considered the seed and the tree before her, but Ye Yi’an’s words made her heart skip.

He had perused ancient books in the temple about the Continent’s origins, where in the Ancient Primordial times, the universe was chaotic, filled with forces originating from cosmic Void saturating the Continent, mutually repulsive and clashing, with razor-sharp Wind Blades sweeping across the Earth, volcanoes, earthquakes, and tsunamis frequently witnessed, rendering the world akin to a Purgatory.

Until one by one, vegetation emerged from the Continent, bringing vitality to the world, with the initial Life stemming from this. The first nascent vegetation Life was extremely fleeting yet exceptionally resilient, propagating through generations, evolving themselves while transforming the world.

Eventually, one day, green spread across the entire Continent, and the forces saturating the universe became gentle. After enduring millions of years, or even longer, of mutual strife, they gradually formed a balance of mutual repulsion yet mutual restraint, complementing each other, known as the Law.

Various beasts, even humans, were thus born.

According to the legend, those ancient plants were the original rulers of the Holy Continent, the origins of all Life and humanity. They were also called Life Ancient Trees.

However, with the passing of ages and the changes of the world, Life Ancient Trees had long vanished from the Continent. Due to the formation of the Law, the universe became peaceful and calm, and current plants no longer possessed the vigorous vitality like their ancestors.

Could it be that the seed was indeed a relic left by the Life Ancient Trees? Han Yan recalled the mysterious force within, embodying various Laws, powerful yet pure. Not only could it restore her ability to fight despite severe wounds, but it could also revive the vital energies of Ye Yi’an when they were drained, instantly heal all severely wounded priests, guards, and civilians. It must be the legendary Life Ancient Tree possessing such power.
