Seven geniuses attacked the Lich but their combined assault was easily deflected by a dark dome. The Lich retaliated with a devastating blast that the geniuses narrowly evaded. Anthony, however, effortlessly deflected the explosion. The Lich then revealed his status as a Higher One, causing the other six geniuses to immediately kneel in fear, but Anthony remained standing. The Lich acknowledged Anthony's unique nature and revealed that Anthony possessed far greater treasures than the others, including the corpse of an Eternal Apex and a Genesis Grade Trident. The Lich reiterated that only one of them would leave alive, implying Anthony's treasures were the true prize.

Anthony didn’t react anyway. As for how the Lich knew of his reward and his name, he had come to the conclusion that those various Lovers Of Death’s subordinates stationed at each domain seemed able to communicate with one another and talked about the geniuses that came their way.

Which was sort of understandable, after all, these people were stuck here for God knows how long, it was probably the only way to communicate and cure their eternal boredom. But... that meant that the Lich already knew of his strength... at least the one he used against the Dark Knight, and also knew of the amount of Laws he had in his arsenal.

In conclusion, the Lich was playing these six geniuses, they were puppets in his hands. After all, to the six of them, they would work together and defeat him, and when they did, they would then fight for the corpse. But what they didn’t know was that the Lich believed that he could kill all of them, hence achieving the entire purpose of the death game challenge.

But, the Lich hadn’t considered that Anthony possessed the strength of an Eternal Apex, which was understandable as he knew nothing of Anthony’s battle with Nature’s Savant. The Lover Of Death’s subordinate that had been stationed at that domain had been handled by Nature’s Savant before Jerry even arrived there.

So there was simply no way for the information to reach him. Only information from the Oceanic Queen and the Demon Scholar, Kaxrak, reached him.

’I wonder how many Eternal Apex subordinates Lover Of Death has,’ Anthony thought as he put the last popcorn in his mouth, ’Kaxrak was one, and this Lich is another, that’s two now,’ he thought.

But his thoughts halted when six different killing intents brushed against his senses. His eyes snapped towards them as he spoke.

"It seems you all have made up your minds." His tone was calm as the bowl in his hand vanished.

"It’s nothing personal, this is just the reality of cultivation," Diedera Parkshu of the Dreaming Nightmare spoke as his hand moved to his weapon.

Anthony nodded as he replied, his tone low, "Indeed it is."

At Anthony’s indifferent and calm demeanor, the six of them couldn’t help but grow suspicious as to why Anthony was this confident. They couldn’t help but wonder why he had been so calm from the moment he stepped into this domain. But the moment that thought tickled into their minds, they killed it.

Their mission for the moment was clear... KILL.

Su Ming from the Sword Sect moved first, her katana leaving its sheath in one smooth motion as she aimed for his neck at blitzing speed. Her sword was fast, too fast, she had moved before the others could even react. The path of her sword was smoother than anything anyone her age could probably display. Truly, she was a genius when it came to the Sword Dao.

But alas, her opponent was a man who made geniuses seem like average talent.

As the attack arrived, Anthony’s body turned into a phantom as he vanished from his position with a smirk on his face and his hand behind his back. His initial plan was to play around with these geniuses, but since a kill order had been given and they wished to kill him, there was no need to hold back.

As his body crossed a couple of meters, Li Xinyi appeared beside him, her rapier streaking towards his ribs as she unleashed a mechanical precision-like thrust. Anthony’s body, which was flying backwards, immediately stopped, the ball of his right foot touching the earth as he twisted and dodged with calm ease as though he was a butterfly here.

The moment he dodged, a three-legged colossal cauldron dropped from the sky, streaking towards his head as though it wished to seal him within and refine him into some pill or exotic elixir. But again, it was futile, in his perception, their movements were slow, too slow.

He clamped down on Li Xinyi’s outstretched hand that she used to perform the rapier stab, then without missing a beat, he shot backwards and pulled Li Xinyi into his previous location as though he wanted the cauldron to cover her instead.

Li Xinyi’s beautiful eyes snapped towards the cauldron that had already covered half of her body in that instant. She didn’t hesitate, her body bursting into butterflies as she immediately flew in all directions.

Luth Aleksandr, who had just made a move with his cauldron, could only frown as he had timed his attack to perfection and still failed.

The moment Anthony came to a stop and his foot touched the ground beneath him, a Formation activated as Jerome Satire of the Heaven Sealers Association instantly activated his Formation. Within the short period when Li Xinyi, Luth Aleksandr, and Su Ming had attacked, he had created various Formations and tailored them to the only Human here.

Hence, whenever Anthony stepped onto the ground, a Formation would randomly activate. But, of course, Formations weren’t scattered everywhere as he hadn’t had enough time to do something like that yet.

Anthony’s body came to a complete halt. Illusion rose and filled his mind as Jerome Satire had created an illusion Formation, it was simply one of many. The moment Anthony froze, Maris Matis of the Runic Will Pavilion moved, various golden Runes dancing around him as though they were some unknown language.

He stepped into the Formation as he moved to restrict Anthony with a Seal Rune. But as the Rune was about to make contact with his body, Anthony moved, his body tearing to the side as he dodged the Runes with agile ease.

Seeing Anthony move, Jerome Satire’s eyes widened in surprise for a moment as he hadn’t expected Anthony to move. His Formation didn’t show any sign of instability or breaking or simply not working. It had worked perfectly, yet he had failed.

But unknown to the man, Anthony was immune to Illusion, and number two, he was a Twelve-Star Rune Formation Master, he could seal the entire Universe if he wanted. How could a mere minor Formation hold him?

As Anthony dodged, Maris Matis’s Rune attacks screamed towards Jerome Satire. But the man’s hand motion was swift, he instantly drew a defensive Formation and blocked.

Anthony, who had dodged, blurred backwards with the same smirk on his face, but as he moved, Diedera Parkshu appeared beside him, a spear thrusting forward with wicked force towards his ribs.

Seeing the incoming attack, Anthony stopped and instantly sidestepped, hitting zero speed and continuing his acceleration in less than a second.

Anthony’s body came to a stop a kilometer away, his body floating a meter above the earth as he stood with his hand behind his back. He stared at the six geniuses who had unleashed various opening attacks and failed to even land one. He didn’t block any, just pure evasion with nothing but base speed.

"If this is all you guys have combined, don’t you think you all are thinking too highly of yourselves?" he asked as he simply wanted to engage in a bit of usual trash talk that went on during fights.

The geniuses frowned as they couldn’t help but click their tongues internally at this Human’s arrogance. Yes, they would give him credit for his speed, but it was just that... speed.

"Come," Anthony spoke again with a relaxed posture, "let me show you a bit of the difference between a Monster and a Monstrous genius," his tone teasing as a smirk appeared on his lips.
