Anthony learns about the dangerous Vanishing Reapers, assassins with a perfect success rate who have taken on a bounty for his head. He is then informed that his next assignment is to enter the Underground Tomb known as the Sleeping Hollow alongside all the Above Disciples. This ancient tomb is said to contain the treasure of the legendary Lover of Death, but all who enter forget what happens inside, and many never return.

’Is this one of those tropes where some cunning old man or woman from the ancient ages sets traps for geniuses to dive into, filled with treasures, inheritances, techniques, and whatnot, disguising it as leaving their legacy for the next generation, and when these geniuses enter, these old foxes immediately swallow their souls, assimilate them, and replace them?’ Anthony thought to himself as he looked forward to something like that happening to him.

He was already imagining The Lover Of Death’s expression when he entered Anthony’s soul only to find Romulus and Boundless occupying it.

Although that had a low chance of happening, it still thrilled him. After all, an example of this was The Executioner from whatever Upper Galaxy he was from.

Anthony couldn’t help but wonder how The Executioner had obtained his own title, but he simply shook his head as he decided not to think too much about it.

"For today, you will return to the cottage you already occupy, and tomorrow another cottage will be prepared for you in the section reserved for the Above Disciples," The Punisher stated.

His eyes turned toward the others as he asked, "Does anyone have anything else to add?"

Everyone remained silent for a moment before Chaos Betroth replied, "You will definitely meet The Vanishing Reapers within the Underground Tomb, as we will be announcing tomorrow that a new disciple will be joining the Above Disciples, so to them, that is the best place to erase you," she explained. "And in case you didn’t know, any sort of life-saving artifact, ability, or whatever else you possessed within your Lower Galaxy won’t work here. Within the Ecliptica Galaxy, true death applies. After all, even someone with the title of The Lover Of Death couldn’t cheat death," her tone heavy as she was familiar with some foolish Ascendants believing they could deceive death itself.

The laws of the Upper Galaxy and the Lower Galaxy were fundamentally different.

"But at the same time, I won’t lie. An artifact that can allow you to cheat true death does exist, as a particular being is said to possess one, and nobody has been able to take it from him to this day," Chaos Betroth explained.

"I understand," Anthony replied with a smile as he knew he could cheat death if he wanted to.

"I hope you do... for your sake, and ours," Chaos Betroth replied with a sigh.

Deep down, she was troubled, torn between two things she desired. First, she wanted Anthony to succeed and retrieve whatever ultimate reward or treasure The Lover Of Death had taken into his tomb. But at the same time, she wanted true chaos. A maddening, uncontrollable chaos that would further her comprehension of her Universal Law Of Chaos.

And the only way she could envision that happening was through Anthony’s own death.

With his death, surely The Sword Ruler would lose all restraint and storm The Vanishing Reapers, seeking whatever information he could uncover, an act that was bound to create an enormous ripple across the Hellinder Realm. Through such turmoil, she could fight with everything she possessed without the slightest reservation.

After all, how could one comprehend the Universal Law Of Chaos while remaining locked inside a room, meditating and reading? One had to become chaos to truly comprehend it. One had to witness it. One had to experience it. One had to drown within it. And Chaos Betroth understood this truth better than anyone.

A part of her whispered that she should arrange Anthony’s death herself, hastening the entire process instead of waiting for fate to take its course. But she shook her head and forced those thoughts from her mind.

"Expect your popularity to rise by tomorrow. After all, we won’t be hiding the fact that you are The Sword Ruler’s descendant. Even your age and a few other details will be made public, aside from your Laws, cultivation, and anything else of significance, as people will only discover those for themselves when they fight you," The Punisher added.

Anthony nodded, completely unbothered by the matter.

"You may return. I’m sure you know the way back without The Third Core Elder escorting you this time," The Sword Ruler stated.

Anthony bowed briefly before turning and stepping out of the hall. The moment he stepped outside, his eyes rose toward the clear blue sky, where he could see several suns suspended high above. He had only just arrived, yet chaos was already brewing around him. A few things could go wrong here, the entire group of Above Disciples being wiped out, for example.

A smile appeared on his lips. He accepted every possibility wholeheartedly, even wishing the Underground Tomb would open right now instead of making him wait until next week.

Anthony shook his head as a portal opened before him. Without hesitation, he stepped through it and appeared at his cottage within the Core Elders’ section of the sect.

"You’re back," Jarod, who had been waiting in the open space outside the cottage, spoke as he rose from his seat.

"I am. Things went well. I will be transferred to the Above Disciples’ section tomorrow, so pack your things and anything you might have bought for the kitchen, as it seems our stay here was only temporary," he explained as he walked past Jarod and entered the cottage.

Jarod stood rooted to the spot as he heard the words Above Disciples. He knew that to become one, a person had to possess an outrageous Physique, Bloodline, innate ability, or insane sheer talent. Although he had already suspected Anthony possessed one or more of these, hearing it confirmed still left him stunned beyond words.

"Serve me lunch," Anthony’s voice came from inside the cottage, breaking Jarod out of his thoughts.

After eating his fill, Anthony was about to immediately revert to his lazy state when he was interrupted by the system’s familiar chime.
