Anthony planned a meeting for friends and subordinates, but before he could finalize it, his subordinates Vivian, Donna, and Evelyn arrived. They informed him that they would not be ascending to the Upper Galaxies yet, citing their youth and Vivian's extensive plans for the Blue Planet, including the Guild and orphanages she built. Evelyn remained silent, implying she would also delay her ascension.

Hearing their explanation, Anthony nodded in understanding, especially at Vivian’s explanation. She and Donna had built something during the past two years. And as she had said, it couldn’t be abandoned and left behind within the span of a few days, as a lot of people; girls, children, and women of all ages, depended on her. The responsibility they carried wasn’t something that could simply be handed over overnight without preparation or thought.

Although Anthony wouldn’t exactly call it a legacy or some grand inheritance, it was at least a seed that she and Donna had left behind within the Blue Planet that could grow into something more.

As for his own legacy, the whole Galaxy already knew who he was. StreamGhost had streamed everything that had happened during the Forsaken Cult purging, which was the first step, making him a figure akin to a real God in people’s minds. Then the man livestreamed his battle with God and the Demon King throughout the whole Galaxy.

Anthony didn’t need to leave a single thing behind as a legacy.

His name alone, his existence itself, was the Legacy.

Every feat of his had been recorded into the annals of existence at this point, as no Lower Galaxy out there, be it Acarnis or otherwise, would ever witness someone like him. Long after he was gone, stories about him would continue to spread from one generation to another.

He didn’t bother asking what plans Vivian had said she had for the Blue Planet. He was sure it wasn’t anything sinister or evil, nor was it some sort of world domination for peace and all that justice crap. So he simply didn’t ask, as he knew whatever she had thought of doing would only benefit the Blue Planet as a whole.

"I see, no problem then," Anthony replied calmly. "Then I can exempt you three from the meeting tomorrow," he stated.

"Thank you," Evelyn replied with a beautiful smile on her face as the others also expressed their thanks.

Anthony merely shook his head as he spoke, "You three have the freedom of choice and have your own will. I wasn’t forcing everyone to follow me, I simply failed to consider things from your own perspective," he stated truthfully, as he had indeed failed to do that.

The three girls simply nodded in understanding and said nothing else.

"What about the rest?" Anthony asked.

"The rest?" Vivian replied as she arched an eyebrow, a bit confused.

"Spectre, Mike, Litt, Clement, Ross, and the others. Do any of them actually want to ascend, or are they merely ascending because I asked them to?" Anthony asked as he needed to make sure everyone was moving according to their own pace.

After all, if Donna, Vivian, and Evelyn wanted to delay their ascension, then it was only natural to know if any of the boys wanted to do so too but simply didn’t want to approach him about it. The last thing he wanted was for someone to make such an important decision because they felt pressured by his expectations.

"It’s more like the opposite," Donna laughed as she spoke.

Vivian smiled as she added, "They are hyped about it, basically looking forward to it to the point that if you allowed them to begin the Ascension at this particular moment, they would all gladly do so." She shook her head as she explained, as the boys had very different thoughts from the girls.

Anthony chuckled as he heard this. He merely shook his head in understanding. Unlike Evelyn, Donna, and Vivian, who were planning to do things for the Human Domain or Blue Planet in general before they left, the guys didn’t have such plans.

Which Anthony understood perfectly. After all, they were all orphans and were all within the military, scattered across different Alpha Bases, so they didn’t exactly have a legacy or a reason to delay. For many of them, Ascension represented the next stage of their lives, something they had been anticipating for a long time.

"Anything else?" Anthony asked.

The three of them shook their heads as they had nothing else to talk about. As they had said earlier, it was only about the Ascension, nothing more.

"It was nice seeing the three of you," Anthony stated with a calm expression.

"It was nice seeing you too," Donna replied as she rose to her feet. Vivian and Evelyn mirrored her motion.

With that, a portal opened before them. Waving at Anthony, they stepped through it, leaving only him behind in silence.

Anthony sat in silence, contemplating a few things. This meeting with Vivian, Donna, and Evelyn had made him realize that... he might not ascend with his parents.

They too had a whole lot of things to handle that simply couldn’t be rushed.

But Anthony was fine with that. He wasn’t exactly worried about their safety during the Ascension. With the amount of power they possessed, they should be able to go through it just fine. If anything, there were very few beings capable of threatening them to begin with.

His phone beeped. He took it out, and it was a message from Aura Nova, who had replied to the message he had sent about the meeting, stating that she was looking forward to it. Anthony stared at the message and couldn’t help but wonder if Aura Nova was simply trying to meet up so she could challenge him to a spar.

Anthony was amused by the thought, but after his battle with the Demon King and God, he wasn’t exactly looking forward to another battle. If Aura Nova did challenge him, he would just end it with a single move through Authority Of Severance. There was no reason to drag out a fight when the outcome was already obvious.

His phone beeped again, and this time it was pictures of her cat sleeping. With that, Aura Nova went offline. The moment she went offline, Vega started flooding his phone with her own pictures and videos. Some of them seemed completely random, making Anthony wonder if she had simply decided to send everything she had saved.

Anthony simply sighed and rose to his feet as he walked back to his room. He changed into his pajamas and slipped into his bed. Since his girlfriend was having fun outside, he would sleep inside. The moment his head touched the pillow, he allowed his thoughts to settle. Tomorrow would arrive soon enough, and whatever decisions remained to be made could wait until then.
