MIGHT AS WELL BE OP Chapter 1160: Quasars
Previously on MIGHT AS WELL BE OP...
Anthony, Demon King Doomrend, and God could be seen tearing through everything in their paths. Everywhere they moved, space shattered apart, the void trembled violently, constellations collapsed, and entire solar systems burst apart into cosmic debris. The sheer destruction produced by the physical attacks they were unleashing at this moment was more than enough to erase everything within the Rogue Planet had they fought there.
Anthony had indeed made the right decision by bringing them into the Void of the Acarnis Galaxy, but even then, it seemed the Galaxy itself was destined to suffer catastrophic damage after this battle.
Their bodies attained speeds where picoseconds seemed no different from an entire hour to an ordinary person. The scale of their strength tore through reality itself as though existence were nothing more than fragile cloth incapable of withstanding their power.
Anthony had a wide grin plastered across his face as both his hands and feet moved continuously, blocking countless consecutive attacks. The Demon King and God didn’t give him even a single split second to breathe, nor even a brief moment to blink. No, they pressed their attacks relentlessly without pause.
But did Anthony care? Certainly not.
He matched them blow for blow as though he was within the Zone State. His eyes tracked every incoming attack with pinpoint accuracy, his breathing calm and steady while his footwork resembled an art form crafted from absolute perfection itself.
Anthony had to admit it, these two were truly displaying why they were regarded as the pinnacle existences of both the Divinora and Acarnis Galaxies. After all, a single attack from either one of them could erase entire Solar Systems from existence effortlessly.
Even the sheer battle experience and combat instincts they displayed were unlike anything Anthony had ever witnessed before, not even from the so-called Spirit King. Clearly, their previous projections could barely maintain even one percent of their true abilities.
Anthony’s figure suddenly appeared upon a star, a massive grin still resting upon his face. The moment his feet touched the burning surface of the star, the Demon King was already there with a grin of his own. His upper hands clasped together before slamming downward toward Anthony’s head with the force of a dying cluster of Solar Systems collapsing simultaneously.
Anthony didn’t take a single step back, instead, he stepped forward.
With excitement gleaming inside his eyes, he punched forward directly toward the incoming strike. The moment both fists collided, a reality-warping wave of spatial distortion and wind pressure detonated outward with existential-erasing force. The star beneath Anthony’s feet groaned violently under the pressure, yet it didn’t shatter apart because Anthony had tanked the destructive force capable of destroying it entirely using his own body.
But the Demon King possessed four arms, not merely two. Anthony had only stopped the upper pair.
The next instant, with a speed surpassing even the concept of an instant itself, the Demon King’s Chaos Energy erupted into existence within his lower hands. Space warped violently between them as a literal Quasar formed in real time.
Anthony arched a brow slightly as his gaze snapped toward the incoming attack capable of erasing an enormous portion of the Galaxy itself. Yet Anthony was here to enjoy himself. He didn’t care whether the Galaxy survived or tore apart completely.
Without hesitation, Anthony immediately tapped into his own elemental affinities, commanding Space, Void, Time, Gas, Light, Plasma, and countless others simultaneously as he instantly created his own Quasar within his left hand.
And with wicked grins stretching across both their faces, their Quasars collided against one another with Continuum-Ending Madness beyond every conceivable scale of destruction and power.
Light capable of shredding even the strongest beings into absolute nothingness erupted outward violently. Gravity itself became meaningless. Space was erased in real time while the very fabric of creation tore apart continuously. Even the Void itself seemed insignificant at this moment as pure Nothingness threatened to emerge into reality.
A massive portion of the Acarnis Galaxy was immediately blown apart while the boundaries separating it from nearby Lower Galaxies fractured in real time. Yet the Galaxy itself seemed to possess some form of consciousness as it immediately began repairing itself frantically in order to prevent another invasion similar to what the Divinora Galaxy had experienced.
Through the cosmic haze and scattered constellation debris, both Anthony and the Demon King slowly emerged once more. There was barely any space remaining between them because they had destroyed nearly all of it already, while reality itself desperately attempted to stitch the damage back together.
The Demon King’s upper right arm had been completely blown off while his body was covered in injuries. After all, tanking a Quasar wasn’t some minor feat, let alone tanking two simultaneously. But it mattered little to him because those injuries were barely worth acknowledging. Within a mere picosecond, his body had already regenerated completely.
As for Anthony, he stood there indifferently, his body completely untouched by damage as though enduring two Quasars simultaneously was no different from standing beneath ordinary rain.
Through the endless chaos and destruction, God suddenly appeared like a phantom slipping through cracks within reality itself, bypassing Anthony’s senses entirely. In less than half an instant, he was already directly beside Anthony. Within his hand rotated a pulsing collection of miniature Pulsars carrying power comparable to the Quasars themselves.
Then, with lethal force, he punched upward toward Anthony’s jaw, aiming to inflict critical damage through a single devastating strike.
Anthony’s eyes flickered toward him instantly, although the man had bypassed the basic sensing abilities of the evolved Sense Dome by slipping through cracks in reality itself, it was still ultimately futile. Sense Dome possessed a Mental Calculation Ability that continuously calculated all possible futures simultaneously. Through that ability alone, Anthony had already predicted this exact moment a few seconds before it even occurred.
An evil smirk spread across Anthony’s face as he moved.
He shifted from a Quasar... to a Magnetar.
His mana rumbled outward violently, his Infinite Mana being utilized to its absolute fullest at this moment because Anthony had no intention whatsoever of losing in either physical combat or magical combat.
With a force capable of shredding both space and time apart, a Magnetar appeared within his fist as he launched the attack directly toward God.
God aimed for Anthony’s jaw. Anthony aimed for God’s chest.
Neither side showed even the slightest intention of defending against the other’s attack, both possessing absolute confidence in their own defensive abilities.
The instant both attacks connected, time halted completely, silence vanished, light disappeared, sound, thought, movement, existence itself... everything paused. Then reality snapped violently back into place, the moment it did, another Galaxy-erasing wave of destruction consumed the Acarnis Galaxy once more. The blast produced by their attacks erased everything within thousands of light-years as though such distances were no different from a few ordinary kilometres.
Anthony bore the full force of the attack directly, his body tore upward violently beneath the force of God’s strike that erased entire portions of the Acarnis Galaxy. But the moment he was launched away, his body immediately halted itself as he regained complete control effortlessly.
He wasn’t injured, he didn’t even feel pain, after directly tanking yet another attack capable of wiping out sections of the Galaxy, his body remained as flawless as ever.
As for God, his shoulder and entire arm had been completely blown apart, yet he didn’t care, endless streams of Faith Energy surged outward continuously as his body regenerated instantly.
Anthony floated above while staring downward calmly.
Meanwhile, God and Demon King Doomrend floated below while staring upward toward him.
All three of them wore massive grins across their faces.
Happiness coursed through their veins, especially for God and the Demon King.
How long had it truly been since they had participated in a battle of this scale? Millions of years.
It had been ages since their hearts had pounded with such violent excitement, beating like heavenly war drums echoing across existence itself.
At this moment, there was no scheming, no manipulation, no planning. Only pure, raw, overwhelming destructive power capable of tearing entire Galaxies apart remained.
Nothing more, nothing less.
