MIGHT AS WELL BE OP Chapter 1142: Galactical Cores

"I am aware that your Angels operate by you channeling power into them from the Faith and prayers you have accumulated; this much is evident simply by observing one of your random, rather unintelligent Angels," the Demon King elaborated. "And yes, your intention is indeed to replicate what you accomplished in the Divinora Galaxy within the Arcanis Galaxy, which entails expanding your influence and all that accompanies it, harvesting Faith and prayers as you simultaneously strengthen yourself." He paused, as if allowing the God's projection to fully absorb his meticulously chosen words.
"However, I surmise that after conquering the Divinora Galaxy and gathering all the Faith and prayers you could, you attempted to breach the layers of Reality and the very Laws that partition the Lower and Upper Galaxies, seeking a path to ascension," the Demon King continued. "This endeavor ultimately proved futile, as the barrier separating an Upper Galaxy from a Lower one is not so easily pierced. If it were, the entire process of Ascension would be rendered entirely meaningless."
The more the Demon King articulated his points, the more quiescent the God's projection became; utterly still, without a flicker of his eyes, he simply listened with unwavering composure.
"So, what is your recourse? It is quite simple: seek out another Galaxy. If one could not provide sufficient power, then two would suffice, and that is precisely your reason for being here," the Demon King declared. "You cultivate your prayers and Faith, then endeavor to forcefully ascend once more. I understand that this requires time; after all, a Galaxy is so vast that its conquest is no simple feat, yet I am certain you possess the requisite patience." The Demon King's projection mused aloud, "but that is not your ultimate objective. You have already prepared for potential failure; should your ascension falter again, your next move will be to locate the cores of both the Arcanis Galaxy and the Divinora Galaxy, utilizing them as immense power sources to rend a pathway through the Laws and Layers of Reality itself, thereby achieving your ascension." A subtle smirk began to form on the Demon King's lips.
The God's projection was left dumbfounded; every syllable uttered by the Demon King had struck its mark with unerring accuracy, not a single detail was amiss. The God's projection could only inwardly question himself: how?
How could the Demon King possess such knowledge? This information was meant to be exclusively his, as he had no trusted confidant with whom to share his machinations. He was the sole architect of his plans, leaving absolutely no room for any possibility of a leak.
This led to but one inescapable conclusion: the Demon King was simply that extraordinarily intelligent, that terrifyingly perceptive, capable of deducing the entire sequence of events from mere scattered fragments of information.
"But that is not all, my esteemed and mighty God," the Demon King continued, his palpable confidence filling the space. "If you truly possessed such a contingency plan involving the cores of two Galaxies, it implies your assurance in locating them. Even I, the Demon King who has dwelled here for several billion years, have yet to discover the Arcanis Galaxy Core. Your confidence, therefore, can only signify one thing... you have already found the Divinora Galaxy Core."
That final assertion detonated within the God's projection's mind; it was as though the Demon King before him could penetrate his very thoughts, his hidden intentions, his most profound will—an impossibility that should have been absolute.
Indeed, he, the God of the Divinora Galaxy, had undeniably located the core of his own Galaxy.
"However, just as you attempted ascension after conquering the Divinora Galaxy and accumulating Faith, I am certain that upon discovering the Divinora Galaxy Core, you must have tried to use it to ascend. And even if that attempt failed, such an action should have precipitated a colossal backlash, rippling throughout the Divinora Galaxy, causing widespread suffering as a consequence of your actions... yet, they all appear perfectly fine, as though nothing transpired, as though... you never utilized the Divinora Galaxy Core to forcefully initiate your Ascension," the Demon King intoned, entirely unfazed by the intense scrutiny emanating from the God's projection.
"Thus, observing your Galaxy thriving without any form of Existential Collapse, without any alteration to its governing Laws, and without even a tremor within the Threads of Existence, I arrived at two possible conclusions. First, either you learned prudence and decided against using the Divinora Galaxy Core altogether, or second... you have indeed found the Divinora Galaxy Core, but you lack true access to it," the Demon King stated with absolute equanimity, as if he had personally witnessed the entire unfolding of events.
The God's projection remained resolutely silent, refusing to utter a single word.
"However, I find myself leaning towards the latter," the Demon King declared. "I am certain that after millennia of trying, or perhaps even just centuries, you finally found a method to tap into the Galaxy Core, even if just a fraction of its power. Yet, even that restricted access was sufficient for you to grasp that one core was insufficient; you required two Galactical Cores. This is precisely why the Arcanis Galaxy holds your fascination; it represents the first such galaxy you’ve encountered after an extensive search and efforts to forge a stable link." The Demon King pondered aloud, his face retaining its characteristic playful smirk, showing no inclination to mask it.
While the God’s projection remained silent, offering no interruption, no outburst, nor demanding an explanation for his profound insight, the Demon King was unfazed. He truly savored these instances, moments where he could showcase the daunting complexity of his intellect, sharpened and perfected over countless eons of intricate plots, cunning stratagems, and relentless struggles.
"But I must concede, in the end, you surpass me—you are the righteous one," the Demon King went on. "After all, your aim is to conquer the Arcanis Galaxy and achieve ascension through the amplified power of Faith and prayers you would garner. Had I been in your shoes, I would have readily opted for the second path, utilizing the Galactical Cores. However, you abstain from this course, understanding the dire repercussions. You are aware that the instant you activate both Galactical Cores, the Arcanis Galaxy and the Divinora Galaxy would utterly disintegrate into oblivion, with every celestial body, every world, and every life form within them being obliterated as a sacrifice to forcefully propel your ascension," the Demon King finished, his pronouncement absolute.
