MIGHT AS WELL BE OP Chapter 1135: Merge
Previously on MIGHT AS WELL BE OP...
Anthony remained seated, observing Collins, Mitchelle, and Michael as they deliberated on a strategy for their Military Bases. After a brief exchange of unfruitful ideas, Michael finally interjected.
"Why don't we consult my Baby Monster? I'm certain he'll have an answer," he proposed, his voice tinged with weariness from their unproductive discussion.
Upon hearing Michael's words, all eyes turned to Anthony. His past accomplishments, marked by seemingly impossible feats, led them to believe he could undoubtedly unravel this predicament too.
'No matter how powerful I become, that name seems destined to follow me,' Anthony mused internally, a slight shake of his head accompanying his sigh. He had implored Michael numerous times to cease the moniker, yet the man obstinately refused, clinging to it as if it were an unyielding title.
'Perhaps a spar is in order, with that name as the stake,' he pondered. Should Michael falter, he would be compelled to abandon the exasperating nickname.
He envisioned a future scenario: ascending to the Upper Galaxies, standing amidst beings of unimaginable power, only for Michael to nonchalantly address him as 'Baby Monster,' a name others might then adopt, eclipsing his own or any grander title.
Shaking his head once more, he dispelled the stray thoughts, focusing on the present. "Indeed, I have devised a solution," he stated calmly, having already formulated a plan during their exchanges.
"And that is?" Mitchelle inquired, her tone laced with curiosity.
"I shall employ one of my abilities upon the Military Bases. The plan involves merging Military Base Alpha-1 with Military Base Alpha-9, or alternatively, Military Base Alpha-8 with Military Base Alpha-3," Anthony explained with unflappable composure, his voice steady and without a trace of doubt, as if proposing the most mundane of tasks.
Their gazes fixed upon him, a spectrum of disbelief and contemplation coloring their expressions as their minds struggled to grasp how Anthony intended to execute such a feat. Merging two entire planets was, to them, an undertaking of immense magnitude, far beyond their collective capabilities.
Yet, for Anthony, it was remarkably straightforward. Through Quantum Manipulation, a thorough scan of both celestial bodies would suffice, followed by their seamless integration into a singular entity. If he possessed the power to transmute energies, alter species, and manipulate DNA at its most fundamental level, then merging planets was merely another routine application of his formidable power.
"This approach ensures minimal disruption for the inhabitants. Their floating islands, structures, businesses, and resources will remain undisturbed. Even the networked digital systems and AI will integrate without a hitch. Resources will effectively double as two planets become one, and crucially, detrimental effects like gravitational instability, spatial pressure, or compression anomalies will be meticulously eradicated during the fusion process by my direct intervention," Anthony elaborated with an air of detached precision, as though detailing a commonplace procedure.
Collins, Michael, and Mitchelle fell silent, their minds rigorously dissecting the proposed method, scrutinizing every potential pitfall. They posed a barrage of increasingly intricate questions, each met with Anthony's calm and assured responses. Despite lacking prior experience in such an endeavor, his inherent capability assured a flawless execution on his inaugural attempt.
"It appears this particular challenge has been resolved," Mitchelle declared, a noticeable relaxation settling upon her features. She gracefully reclined in her seat, crossing one leg over the other, her posture softening with the confirmed resolution.
"Our next step is simply selecting the Military Base for integration and then notifying the relevant Supreme Monarchs," Collins added, his affirmation solidifying the conclusion with a definitive nod.
"I eagerly anticipate witnessing the incredulous expressions on those haughty Supreme Monarchs' faces when they learn of our Ascension," Michael chimed in, a broad grin spreading across his face, clearly relishing the prospect.
As the most recent Human inductees to the Supreme Monarch tier, they had previously found themselves outmatched by the established powers from dominant lineages like the Titan, Vampire, and Dragon races. However, this dynamic had been irrevocably altered with Anthony's emergence.
"They'll be beside themselves," Mitchelle chuckled softly, acknowledging their clear intention to forgo any pretense of secrecy regarding their monumental Ascension. Concealing an achievement of such magnitude served no logical purpose.
"But what if the Demon Monarchs, the crowned Demon King, or even the God of the Divinora Galaxy itself decide to attack you all for clues concerning the Ascension?" Irene inquired, her tone reflecting deep contemplation as such perilous circumstances indeed loomed.
"What is there to fret about? We shall endure, precisely as we perpetually have," Michael responded with an easygoing shrug, entirely unfazed by such potential threats.
Anthony's eyebrow arched as he directed his gaze towards the heavens, his vision seemingly penetrating myriad layers of existence. It appeared as though he could perceive far beyond the ordinary scope of others. He then proclaimed, "Speaking of the God of the Divinora Galaxy and the Demon King, they are both poised to make their move imminently, within the span of a week, perhaps. Therefore, disseminate this information to all, encompassing the other races, to brace themselves. Also, summon those who are in seclusion to emerge," his pronouncements firm, his Authority of Information flaring as he spoke.
Upon hearing Anthony's decree, everyone offered faint smiles. Their concern was not for their own safety but rather for the scarcity of opponents capable of matching their might. However, this would unlikely pose an issue, for the Demon King's thirty most formidable subordinates alone could contend with a Thirteen-Winged Angel effortlessly.
"We understand. We shall dispatch the information with utmost haste," Michael affirmed, beginning to formulate plans to rendezvous with Aaaninja's father, Zachary, and Lucian's father, Riven, following this gathering.
"Is there anything further?" Anthony inquired, his demeanor serene and collected.
A brief moment of reflection passed amongst them before Collins replied, "Nothing at this juncture."
Anthony offered a slight nod. "In that case, I shall be teleporting everyone from the Mirror Dimension, as we each have our distinct assignments to undertake," he stated evenly.
"And what task occupies you?" Mitchelle queried playfully, already aware that Anthony had no immediate, critical duties.
Anthony smirked subtly. "Well, you shall soon witness the initial cohort of individuals upon whom I enacted the Blood Servant ability, as I am presently en route to meet them."
'Op System, dispatch a summons to all my subordinates requesting their presence in the Divine Realm,' Anthony commanded internally.
[Ding]
[Message dispatched, Host]
The system responded instantly, fulfilling Anthony's directive without the slightest hesitation.
A collective raising of eyebrows ensued, yet they chose not to probe further, discerning that Anthony intended to involve them in the impending climactic confrontation. After all, this was to be a three-pronged war: Angels versus Demons versus the diverse Races of the Acarnis Galaxy.
'Grandma will surely be astonished when she learns Evelyn is also my subordinate,' he mused with a discreet smirk, though he refrained from voicing this thought.
"I suppose we shall all reconvene ere long," Mitchelle declared as she rose with elegant poise. The fabric of the void yielded to her masterful command as she stepped through it as though it were mere gossamer hanging.
"Farewell for now, Baby Monster," Michael quipped with a grin, his form dissolving into a fleeting, flickering Sword Intent that soon dissipated.
"Thank you for the boon, Anthony," Irene expressed, her gentle smile possessing the power to thaw the most hardened hearts.
Collins simply inclined his head, reverting instantly to his characteristic silent demeanor. Following this, a resplendent, rainbow-hued Heavenly Judgement Lightning descended with formidable force from the firmament, engulfing both him and Irene. Within that incandescent flash, they vanished entirely.
Observing their sequential departures, Anthony shook his head with a trace of a smile. His thoughts turned towards his Divine Realm. He had issued the command scarcely a minute prior, yet every subordinate had responded instantaneously, abandoning their current endeavors without a second's delay.
With that, Anthony vanished, deactivating the Mirror Dimension ability, his figure seamlessly merging with the ether.
