MIGHT AS WELL BE OP Chapter 1103: The Shadow Soldiers-4

With serene ease, Bellion remained suspended, his demeanor relaxed yet commanding as he regarded his two adversaries with an unconcerned expression. Though battle was something he craved, he found no pleasure in overpowering those beneath him; presently, however, no stronger contenders were accessible, as the truly formidable adversaries were occupied with his liege.
His gaze flickered momentarily aside, revealing Anthony ruthlessly dismembering a Vampire with brutal precision. Upon witnessing this raw display of savagery, Bellion discreetly averted his eyes, deeming it irrelevant to his own situation and current engagement.
"What business does an Angel have here?" the first Vampire inquired, his voice thick with suspicion as he fixed his gaze upon Bellion.
"Has Anthony allied himself with the Angels now? Is he betraying his home Galaxy?" the second Vampire chimed in, both clearly misinterpreting the circumstances and drawing their own misguided conclusions.
Bellion found no compulsion to offer explanations or correct their erroneous assumptions. Instead, he simply maintained his position, hovering with placid grace, silently pondering whether to dispatch them both with a single strike or extend the confrontation slightly.
'What a bore,' he mused internally with a flicker of annoyance. 'I ought to be contending with those Twelve-winged Angels, or perhaps even a Thirteen-winged one, not these Vampires.' He gave a subtle, almost dismissive shake of his head.
"It's two against one. Leave the boy be, and you may depart; we shall grant you your life," one of the Vampires declared, his tone confident notwithstanding the apparent power imbalance.
Bellion glanced briefly toward Rider, who floated nearby, observing the scene in silence without uttering a word. Bellion then refocused on the two Vampires before him, remarking in an unhurried, almost detached tone, "Do you not believe you speak excessively for individuals holding such esteemed positions within your Domain?"
Before the initial Vampire could even formulate a response, Bellion closed the distance. His wings remained still, and his body appeared to make no conventional movement; it was as if reality itself had repositioned him instantaneously, devoid of any physical exertion. His palm shot forward, impacting the Vampire's chest with devastating force. The individual was propelled backward like a projectile, his form colliding violently with a desolate, distant planet devoid of any life.
The second Vampire reacted with swiftness, aiming his spear at Bellion's throat with lethal intent. Yet, Bellion didn't bother drawing his own weapon. His hand darted upward with blurred speed, effortlessly intercepting the spear between his index and middle fingers. With the slightest application of force, the weapon disintegrated into countless fragments.
Before the Vampire could even register the event, Bellion's foot connected with his temple with colossal impact. The Vampire's head snapped unnaturally to the side, his entire body following suit due to the sheer kinetic energy, hurtling through the void before slamming into the same desolate planet as his comrade.
Both adversaries were neutralized with such ease that it starkly highlighted the immense disparity between them, despite the apparent numerical disadvantage Bellion faced.
Bellion observed them calmly before speaking once more, his voice devoid of any discernible emotion, "What was that about two against one... and sparing me?" he inquired, floating as if he were the very essence or architect of the surrounding space.
The first Vampire responded instantly, his blood-red Qi erupting outward in a furious surge. In the subsequent moment, the very heavens seemed to be drenched in a crimson-orange hue as flames spread limitlessly across the vast expanse, colossal fireballs descending, each imbued with a destructive potential capable of annihilating stars and entire constellations.
Perceiving the incoming onslaught, Bellion merely sighed. He raised a hand and made a casual gesture, and in response, the ambient wind condensed and surged forward, colliding with the descending flames and extinguishing them entirely with effortless superiority.
"Pathetic," he stated plainly, not with malice or contempt, but as a simple observation, entirely devoid of judgment or emotional coloration.
His dark eyes shifted towards the Vampires, who were already advancing simultaneously from both the left and the right flanks. The instant they reached striking range, they unleashed another volley of flame-based assaults. This time, however, the intensity was markedly greater, the heat distorting and melting the fabric of space itself, warping reality under its potent influence.
Yet, Bellion did not engage with the attacks directly. He simply dematerialized from his current position, choosing not to intercept or counter. The two fiery assaults converged upon each other in a cataclysmic detonation, unleashing a maelstrom of searing heat that scoured the surrounding space with an intensity far surpassing even that of a stellar body.
Bellion materialized once more next to the second Vampire, his movement being so swift and silent that it was imperceptible. His hand became a blur as he struck, cleaving the man cleanly in two at the waist with just the edge of his palm. His blood erupted into the void, internal organs spilling forth from the separated halves, yet Bellion remained impassive. His hand moved again, a seamless continuation of his previous action, bisecting the Vampire from head to foot, dividing him into four equal portions with horrifying dexterity.
His head then snapped toward the first Vampire, who instantly attempted to disengage, his form blurring backward in sheer desperation. However, the instant he moved, his back met Bellion, who had already positioned himself behind him.
The Vampire's head was wrenched backward, his eyes wide with astonishment and a dawning terror, utterly incapable of grasping how Bellion had shifted his position so effortlessly.
Before a single syllable could escape his lips, Bellion's hand descended firmly upon his head, while his other hand remained placidly at his back. With crushing force, he obliterated the Vampire's skull, the bone yielding instantly under the immense pressure, blood spraying outward as fragments of brain tissue dispersed into the emptiness of space.
Even so, the Vampires almost instantaneously mended themselves.
Without a moment's hesitation, both beings vanished from their spots. They wasted no time, immediately activating their life-preserving artifacts, disappearing entirely rather than resorting to conventional flight, as it was starkly clear to them that escape through mere movement was futile against Bellion.
Bellion made no attempt to pursue them. Instead, he simply turned and reappeared by Rider's side, closing his eyes as he returned to floating in serene, undisturbed tranquility.
Rider could simply watch, utterly dumbfounded. He remembered Anthony mentioning that his Shadow Soldiers wielded power at the Planetary level. Hearing such a declaration was one thing, but witnessing its manifestation firsthand presented an entirely different reality.
‘Are they all this formidably strong?’ he mused inwardly.
But then, a recollection surfaced: Anthony had specifically noted that these four were his absolute strongest.
Rider slowly shook his head. Having observed Anthony effortlessly subdue the Space Bandits and now witnessing his Shadow Soldiers dominate Apexus Mana Rank Vampires with such overwhelming proficiency, the very notion of Planetary-level strength suddenly felt… insufficient.
Yet, he possessed greater wisdom.
It wasn't that such power was negligible; it was simply that Anthony, and those who served under him, existed on a plane far exceeding what could be considered ordinary.
