MIGHT AS WELL BE OP Chapter 1094: Fun-2
Previously on MIGHT AS WELL BE OP...
Anthony spun to confront the other Vampires, his blood-stained hands glistening as he flicked them, the crimson fluid scattering into the void, leaving him immaculate. A profound silence descended upon the cosmic expanse as the Vampires fixated on him. In that instant, he ceased to be the divine Anthony and transformed into something akin to Demon Lord Anthony, an entity radiating both sheer terror and absolute dominance.
A soft chuckle escaped Anthony upon observing their stunned reactions. "Put more effort into it," he quipped, a wide, villainous grin stretching across his face, reminiscent of a character relishing the unfolding chaos. "Imagine the prestige you'd gain from slaying God Anthony, the sheer honor, the attention you'd receive."
At his words, the very heavens seemed to convulse with fury. Blood-red lightning began to arc and crackle with escalating intensity, climbing higher and higher with a power comparable to a blazing star. In the next moment, a colossal torrent of crimson lightning plunged from above with lethal force, screaming through the void as it hurtled toward him.
Anthony's gaze snapped towards the incoming assault. Yet, he made no move to evade or intercept. Instead, he extended his arms wide, inviting the attack to strike him purely for his own amusement. With a cataclysmic impact, the bolt engulfed him entirely. The crackling energy raged, desperately attempting to obliterate him from existence, its luminosity intensifying with each passing second.
The next moment, the attack dissipated, and Anthony's form reappeared. He stood there, exuding an aura of calm and effortless composure. His attire remained pristine, his hair undisturbed, as if the devastating strike had registered no effect whatsoever.
Anthony’s gaze drifted from the source of the attack, his head sharply turning toward the Vampire responsible. "Now, while that was rather weak, I'll give you an A for effort," he declared plainly, his tone dripping with feigned approval.
Before the Vampire could utter a sound, Anthony blurred into motion, his hand thrusting forward like a sharpened spear, fingers rigid and pointed like the tip of a lethal weapon. With grotesque and chilling ease, his hand plunged cleanly into the Vampire's abdomen, breaching flesh and bone before emerging from the Vampire's back in a violent spray of blood.
Shock flickered in the Vampire's eyes as waves of unbearable pain surged through his consciousness, the intensity staggering beyond comprehension. Yet, he remained silent, enduring it with grim fortitude. Anthony, however, was not yet done. His hand closed around the Vampire's internal organs with a sick, twisted delight. With a single, brutal tug, he ripped them from the Vampire's body, exposing the ghastly innards to the vacuum of space in a gruesome spectacle.
But the Apexus Mana Rankers possessed a tenacity bordering on the unreasonable. Despite the loss of nearly all his organs, save for his heart and brain, the Vampire did not falter or hesitate. The grievous injury and pain failed to impede him in the slightest. Instead, he immediately coiled himself tightly around Anthony, binding him with his arms and legs in a desperate yet calculated maneuver.
In the ensuing moment, the Vampire retracted his upper body slightly while his legs remained firmly clamped around Anthony's waist. Blood-red energy coalesced above his index and middle fingers. Shifting his strategy, he unleashed the attack at point-blank range directly towards Anthony's brain. A triumphant grin spread across his face, as if victory were already assured.
"Now, that is an A+ effort right there," Anthony intoned with visible glee, his hand instantly rising to his forehead, effortlessly deflecting the attack. A spark of genuine excitement flashed in his eyes at the unexpected maneuver, clearly finding it entertaining.
Witnessing Anthony again block the attack without sustaining even the slightest injury, the Vampire initiated yet another plan. His body began to glow with intense, burning energy, and in the next moment, he detonated outwards in an apocalyptic inferno, threatening to consume everything in its vicinity. Yet, once more, Anthony made no attempt to dodge. He stood calmly at the epicenter of the explosion, utterly unfazed. Heat was rendered meaningless against him; he possessed complete immunity. Even the shockwave from the blast failed to budge him, let alone harm his skin.
The Vampire had immolated himself by detonating his mana core, but it had all been in vain. Around Anthony, nearby stars buckled and warped under the sheer magnitude of the explosion, yet Anthony simply drew a deep breath, as if the ensuing destruction were no more than pleasant ambient noise.
Among the assembled Vampires, this marked the first instance of facing True Death. Not everyone possessed the resilience of Aura Nova, who could self-destruct her core and have it regenerate automatically without conscious effort.
From the dissipating smoke and lingering chaos, another Vampire materialized. The instant he entered range, a spell was unleashed without a moment's hesitation.
Two colossal magic circles instantly sprang into existence, one hovering above Anthony and the other directly beneath him. Anthony could already sense the oppressive force of the impending seal, a power that sought to bind his mana, his very being, and even his mind.
A smirk played on Anthony's lips, quickly blossoming into a wide grin as he seamlessly transitioned into casting his own spell.
Mana surged with explosive power from his core. The very instant his spell ignited, the Vampire's magic sputtered and halted. Then, in a bizarre turn, it folded back upon itself before collapsing entirely. The Vampire remained frozen, utterly bewildered. In all his existence, he had never before encountered Null Magic, especially not in this startling form.
But Anthony's barrage was far from over; he flowed directly into another spell without missing a beat.
He replicated the very spell that had just been turned against its caster. Having witnessed it for the first time, understood its essence instantly, he now reproduced it flawlessly, with perfect precision.
The Vampire's eyes dilated with sheer terror as he felt his mana and blood energy being completely sealed away. His strength waned rapidly, his movements grinding to a halt. In the very next moment, he was engulfed within a massive, cylindrical barrier seal, rendered utterly immobile.
Without the slightest pause, Anthony ripped open a tear in the fabric of space and nonchalantly tossed the sealed Vampire into the void, consigning him to an eternal, inescapable wandering.
Two Vampires dealt with, permanently.
Yet, despite the loss of two of their own, the remaining Vampires exhibited no falter or hesitation. Death was a familiar concept to them. Their sole purpose was their Queen, and for her sake, they were more than willing to lay down their lives, without question or fear.
"Come!!!" Anthony bellowed with exhilaration, his gaze fixed upon the Vampires hurtling towards him from every conceivable direction, his grin stretching impossibly wider.
The first Vampire arrived, halting beside a nearby planet. Her fists clenched, she unleashed her formidable vampiric might. With a motion of incredible power, she punched the planet itself, forcibly wrenching it from its orbit with astonishing ease. The celestial body hurtled towards Anthony at a terrifying velocity.
Another Vampire emulated her action, but this assault originated from behind. He propelled an entire sun forward with immense force. A third Vampire struck from below, elbowing a colossal moon upwards towards Anthony, while yet another hurled a gargantuan asteroid downwards from above, orchestrating a synchronized assault from all sides.
