MIGHT AS WELL BE OP Chapter 1035: Perfect Clones
Previously on MIGHT AS WELL BE OP...
Upon watching Kingsley depart by stepping directly into the void, Vega turned her attention to Anthony and inquired, "So, why the sudden rush?" Her curiosity was piqued; Anthony had abruptly bade everyone farewell and vanished with her and Kingsley, move which suggested he needed to address a situation so urgent it couldn't be delayed even for a second.
Anthony raised a brow at her questioning gaze, answering calmly, "That? That was entirely because of you." His voice carried a faint trace of amusement, as if the reason were blatantly obvious to both of them.
"Because of me?" Vega asked, her brow furrowing slightly as she struggled to comprehend what he meant.
"Even if you think you can conceal it from others, I can perceive the Mana flowing into your core and circulating through your body in real time. Your three Perfect Clones, who have been cultivating on your behalf, have just transmitted their accumulated Mana reserves; it is currently gathering within you," Anthony explained, his sky-blue eyes fixed steadily and serenely upon her purple ones.
It was her turn to lift an eyebrow. "How did you know?" Despite knowing the answer, she couldn't help but ask out of reflex.
Anthony shook his head with a faint smile, speaking with understated confidence: "Please, the 'All' in the title 'All Seeing Eyes' exists for a specific reason."
Vega simply let out a resigned sigh. She was well-acquainted with Anthony’s All Seeing Eyes, as he had revealed every one of his abilities to her, save for his system and the truth surrounding his reincarnation.
Whenever she inquired about a skill he had utilized, he answered without any reservation. Vega couldn't help but feel a twinge of envy; even her own Eyes Of The Universe felt lackluster in comparison. The last time he had itemized his ocular abilities, she had been left utterly stunned and speechless.
"You can settle down and focus now, in peace," Anthony said, wearing a smile as he strolled toward the bed. He sat down and watched her, his posture relaxed but his focus sharp.
As for Kingsley's remark regarding passionate lovemaking, he knew it was entirely off base, but he chose not to correct him. There were far more pressing concerns than refuting a baseless assumption.
Vega sighed once more and lowered herself to the ground, transitioning into a lotus position with fluid, deliberate grace. She didn't require a dedicated training facility or an environment dense with concentrated Mana; she simply needed to receive and stabilize the influx of energy from her clones.
Closing her eyes, she started the process, her breathing rhythmic and her concentration intensifying.
This innate talent allowed her clones to cultivate on her behalf, feeding the results back to her and enabling her to climb Mana ranks without direct effort. Since her birthday and the subsequent Bloodline Awakening event, this ability had evolved to support three clones instead of one, vastly increasing her growth speed.
Now that three Perfect Clones were feeding her feedback simultaneously, she required undisturbed time to assimilate it all. Formerly, managing a single clone’s feedback was second nature—a trivial task she had performed countless times without issue.
But this was her first time handling input from three separate vessels. A few more sessions, and she would be able to handle this stabilization even in her sleep, just as she had with her single clone.
The Mana wasn't turbulent around her; it emanated from within. Although it surged through her body with great force, the atmosphere in Anthony's room seemed to hum, reacting to her presence and resonating gently with her internal energy.
Anthony remained silent, his gaze never leaving his girlfriend. Even though he was certain she could handle it, he stayed vigilant, ready to intercede at the slightest sign of trouble, his awareness permeating the entire room.
Time passed, minutes melting into half an hour, until the Mana flooding into Vega's core began to settle. She didn't open her eyes, preferring to dwell in the sensation as she felt her body growing stronger, her perception sharpening, and every cell in her form humming with vitality.
Finally, her eyes flew open, her purple irises radiating beauty. A smile played on her lips as she checked her new Mana Rank, her consciousness savoring the height she had reached. It had been a long time since she had experienced such a massive surge in power—not since her Bloodline Awakening, at least.
She had successfully reached Level 9 of the Dominion Mana Rank, standing firmly at its peak with a stable, complete aura.
She was only one step away from the Apexus Mana Rank, just a single step from the level Aaaninja had claimed, one step from standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Anthony; yet, that final step felt dauntingly distant.
Though it appeared to be within reach, she wasn't naive. She knew the disparity between a peak Dominion Mana Ranker and an Apexus Mana Ranker was vast. It wasn't just a matter of cultivating further; it felt as though some hidden catalyst or opportunity was required to bridge the gap.
While she couldn't gauge Aaaninja’s full strength, her Eyes Of The Universe warned her of death whenever she turned her gaze toward him, suggesting he existed on a level of power she had yet to attain.
Still, she felt no urgency. With her natural gifts, the Apexus Mana Rank was inevitable. Furthermore, her three Perfect Clones were already tirelessly working toward that very objective.
As for her rapid advancement, it was largely due to Anthony’s Divine Realm. Using the Time Shard that Aaaninja had once gifted him, Anthony had acquired more from his system, allowing her clones to cultivate in a significantly accelerated timeframe.
Vega rose from the floor with slow, graceful movements. She didn't speak to Anthony; she was busy cataloging every change she had undergone, mentally and physically, while checking the evolution of her skills.
Breakthroughs occasionally triggered the advancement of specific skills, though such occurrences were conditional and relied on deep compatibility.
Only Lucian Darkheart experienced this uniformly, with every increase in Mana Rank sparking a global evolution of his copied abilities—a terrifying advantage that truly separated him from the rest of the world's monsters.
