Mech: Shattering of the Galaxy Chapter 1598 - 114: Subterranean Creatures
Previously on Mech: Shattering of the Galaxy...
"That creature... has appeared again!"
The retreating crowd of the White Armor Clan simultaneously halted, murmuring voices emerged from amongst them.
The giant dragon that once easily swatted away a Rock Armor Rhinoceros with its powerful body!
It has appeared again!
And...
"Ow!!"
Under Mu Fan’s command, the grown-up Evil Wing excitedly watched below.
This group of ants dared to obstruct the great master’s path.
These lesser beings, not even as big as the dragon’s claw, dare to block the great master’s steps!
The wings flapped heavily.
A terrifying airwave instantly formed visibly in mid-air.
Then Evil Wing, like a diving heavy bomber, thunderously charged downward.
"Roar!"
Bang bang bang bang!
Nearly a hundred Bone Wolves turned into dust under Evil Wing’s pure metal wings.
The gigantic Mud Claw Beast seemed to sense the threat and suddenly raised its spear-like spikes.
Buzz!
A dense array of spikes suddenly shot toward the sky.
But...
Ding ding ding!
Sparks flashed.
Several dozen fingertip-sized dents appeared on Evil Wing’s body, but compared to its massive frame, they were negligible.
Yet... this Mechanical Giant Dragon’s eyes suddenly widened!
Dared to wound the great Evil Wing.
Dared to injure this dragon.
Evil Wing’s eyes instantly glowed red.
"Ow!"
The dragon’s wings pressed heavily, and the Bone Wolves were blown up by the sudden air pressure.
Turning its huge body, the dragon’s tail swung fiercely, heavily striking the Mud Claw Beast’s head.
Boom!
A burst of explosive energy manifested in mid-air, leaving the members of the White Armor Tribe stunned as they watched that Mud Claw Beast... being launched into the air.
If they saw Alva chopping the Mud Claw Beast’s head with an axe, they wouldn’t be surprised.
But seeing that mountain-like body sent flying.
How immense the power must be.
Seeing this scene, Alva couldn’t help but laugh wildly.
This primitive and barbaric showdown of strength, this is his favorite!
"Brother Mu, splendid! Hahahahaha!"
For a moment, the defensive line of the White Armor Tribe’s morale shot sky-high.
And these wolves driven by bone whistles, possibly seeing Evil Wing’s rampage, or perhaps shaken by its momentum.
The wolf pack, rushing in like a tidal wave, momentarily stalled.
Although they quickly returned to their charge, the madness they previously had was gone.
The wolf pack seemed to regain some clarity.
Hearing Alva’s laughter from behind, Mu Fan nodded lightly before looking ahead with grim eyes.
"Evil Wing, find those black hands behind."
"Ow~"
A dragon roar, Evil Wing’s huge body vanished into the black night sky.
...
"The roar just now..."
An elder lowered the bone whistle from his lips, a hint of confusion flashed in his murky eyes.
That roar was too long and too unfamiliar.
That... wasn’t their controlled beast.
And Basham, not far from the mound, also let out a soft gasp, turning back and squinting toward the dim night sky.
"Was that roar so loud their ace? Hmph, these damn old folks."
After a puzzled mutter, Basham snorted coldly, tidied his mustache with his hand, and continued forward.
These unruly old folks will eventually all have to die.
After a sinister snort, Basham withdrew his attention, pondering carefully how to report to the Young Clan Chief, Izewende.
But hadn’t walked a few steps when a thunderous airwave from the sky interrupted his thoughts.
Basham’s eyebrows knitted together as he looked back once more, an expression of astonishment appeared on his face for the first time.
"Stars above, what is... that thing?"
The desolate whistle on the mound simultaneously stopped.
The four elders exchanged glances, then simultaneously looked up.
At the end of their vision, a massive figure rose beneath the black night sky.
"Ow~~ roar~~"
Evil Wing’s lantern-like eyes locked onto the figures on the hill, letting out a deafening roar.
"Finally found them, have we?"
A faint green glow emerged in his eyes.
Mu Fan stood atop Evil Wing’s head, calmly gazing at the heavily guarded hill in the distance.
"Fly over."
Upon hearing this calm command, Evil Wing seemed invigorated, heavily flapping its wings, like a fighter jet starting to accelerate onward by piercing the air decisively!
The sound tearing the sky directly shattered the temporarily frozen standoff.
Without any reminder, the elders of the Red Stone Clan knew the attackers were enemies.
"That Star Beast..."
"It’s coming for us."
"Hehe... the White Armor Clan finally piqued my interest."
"So, we can try capturing this creature."
The four elders exchanged a glance, a vile smile appearing on their faces like dry tree bark.
Two continued blowing the bone whistle.
The other two put away the bone whistle, then placed the back of their fingers by their mouths.
Woo~~
Another strange sound came.
The Udan Spearmen on the mound simultaneously drew three blood marks on their foreheads, then held their spears, spearheads pointing outward.
Battle stance!
These Udan Spearmen who faced the enemy didn’t look at the sky.
They looked... to the side!
Boom!
The area of intertwining weeds and boulders below the mound erupted in several meters high of earth waves.
A low sound like a heavy hammer striking a barrel echoed.
Like buffalo, yet like bears.
Subdued tones carried the prairie’s earthy smell.
These creatures, like enlarged pangolins, their fat, bulky bodies clumsily climbed out of burrows.
Their walnut-sized eyes held nothing but cruelty and excitement.
The hissing sound of tongue flicking came forth.
These anxious large pangolins, when completely emerged from the burrows, revealed their full bodies.
They had extra features compared to pangolins.
Namely, they had a heavy, pipe-like bulge on their wide backs, as if naturally grown Siege Tank cannons.
As the mound’s whistle grew louder, the front ends of those bulges suddenly cracked open with a rattling sound.
Black openings larger than half a meter appeared!
These creatures’ cruel eyes first looked atop the mound, then, after scanning the faces of the battle-ready Udan Spearmen, all gazed at the Beast Control elder’s curved fingers.
They instinctively became agitated, let out low, drum-like growls, looking toward the hilltop restlessly.
Woo~~ woo~~
A strange melody echoed.
A daze flashed through the eyes of these hulks.
Then...
They lowered their eyelids, simultaneously turned, looking skyward!
Their limbs like cement pillars roared into the ground.
The originally cracked openings on their backs cracked further!
The circular black holes all aimed at the approaching giant figure.
Boom!
A terrifying cloud of dust erupted.
Mu Fan’s pupils in mid-air instantly contracted!
