The Saint Luo Clan unleashed a devastating spore attack, turning a vast space into a deadly yellow sandstorm. Emerging from a wormhole, a mysterious mecha known as Shura withstood the onslaught and retaliated with a cataclysmic "Red Lotus Blossoms" attack, obliterating the spore storm. The mecha then swiftly located and brutally killed the Saint Luo Clan's commander, Lamar, before destroying the enemy's fortress tower with a single punch.

From the vastness of space, the colossal Star Body Fortress, spanning approximately three kilometers in diameter, was instantaneously compressed by half. It was akin to a soda can being crushed in a moment, showcasing a ferocious beauty born from immense power.

The dense shadows concealed beneath the clouds finally broke through the heavens. These were tens of thousands of conical aerial objects, appearing like torpedoes magnified several times over.

They descended from all directions, following precise trajectories. Even more astonishingly, they executed rapid terminal maneuvers shortly after breaching the spore clouds.

However, the moment Shura shattered the metal spire with a single punch, everything within – be it machinery, Light Computers, or the Saint Luo beings – disintegrated into dust. Bereft of the Saint Luo's Neurospores for control, the movement of these tens of thousands of conical bodies, which had previously swarmed like a school of fish above the cloud layer, abruptly ceased and froze.

Half of the assembled conical bodies immediately scattered, simultaneously piercing upwards into the sky.

Shura's own body was instantly impaled by these conical bodies, which now covered the entire expanse of the sky.

But...

No explosion transpired. Instead, Shura's form was gradually rent asunder, dissolving into the air.

A second later, the conical "torpedoes" ascended into space in unison, arriving at a pre-determined, hidden detonation point.

Multifaceted shockwaves, resembling a kaleidoscope, propagated outwards in successive rings.

Ten thousand meters... Thirty thousand meters... Fifty thousand meters!

The diameter of the shockwave expanded to surpass fifty thousand meters!

From the vantage point of the Dawn Battleship, it appeared as though a planet had detonated in the distant void, the expanding ripples forming a magnificent Star Ring.

"The energy level at the periphery of this detonation has exceeded one hundred thousand, and the core energy level has breached two hundred thousand. When compared to Federation weaponry... this is equivalent to the destructive power of a 20-megaton nuclear bomb."

To Black's observation, the shockwave rebounding even managed to propel the already fractured Star Body Fortress away for thousands of meters.

"These invaders truly show no regard for their own lives, willing to sacrifice themselves at the slightest provocation..." Black muttered to himself.

The other Star Body Fortress, in its original Gemini configuration, was also engulfed by the spectacular shockwave. Fortunately, the fortress's own spore shield generated a peculiar resonance.

As the shockwave washed over the surface of the second Star Body Fortress, it merely caused the thick spore cloud to churn and discolor, producing abundant foam but ultimately causing no further damage.

Within the spire of the second Star Body Fortress, an eerie silence prevailed.

Nearly a thousand "beings" of similar stature and pallid complexions simultaneously gazed upwards at the dome screen. Their almond-shaped pupils were now stretched wide in alarm.

Lamar's tragic demise had cast a profound shadow over them.

The first Star Body Fortress had transmitted less than three seconds of footage. The image of the crimson-flamed Mecha clutching Lamar in one hand and the spire's instantaneous collapse had instilled an unimaginable sense of shock and dread in them within that brief timeframe.

The Gemini itself symbolized the dual core of the frontline legion.

With the complete severance of contact from the first core and the spore foam entirely obscuring their vision,

these thousands of parasitic Saint Luo clutched Crystal Balls. Upon closer inspection, faint electrical arcs could be seen flickering within these orbs.

A pair of antennae, approximately 3 centimeters in length, extended from their foreheads. The apricot hue in their eyes deepened, as if they were perceiving something through these Crystal Balls.

"Unit No. 31: perceptual failure. Unable to establish contact."

"Unit No. 127: perceptual failure..."

"Spore transmission obstructed."

Orderly voices continued to echo throughout the desolate spire hall.

Standing by the expansive floor-to-ceiling window, the man in black clenched his fists until his bones audibly cracked. Unusual surges coursed along his arms, as if a fluid was being continuously injected.

"Merely a lower universe, it is inconceivable that it could possess such combat prowess."

His deep voice resonated as the man in black's neck abruptly twisted a full 180 degrees, allowing him to look behind him.

"Peeking. Was the Mecha destroyed?"

A line of over fifty figures, swathed in grey cloaks, situated in a corner of the spire, lifted their heads, revealing their grotesque visages.

Distinctly unlike other parasites, these beings had no skin covering their faces, only exposed red muscle tissue that writhed continuously. The most chilling feature was their fist-sized, amber eyes, embedded in their faces without eyelids or covering hair, capable of rotating freely at any angle. One could even observe the yellowish ichor flowing within these enormous eyeballs.

These colossal eyes stared back, their unnerving stillness amplifying the profound quiet of the chamber.

These "beings" were distinct from the other parasites; they were the true entities!

The "Peepers," who furnished more than two-thirds of their Saint Luo blood to their ocular organs!

They laid their hands upon the secured giant Crystal Ball before them, their gazes ceaselessly oscillating.

"Commander Goodrich, the Peepers have registered no anomalous energy signatures. The Star Body Fortress perimeter is ensconced within dense spore fog. Information penetration will commence in 10 seconds to ascertain dispersion."

"Peepers detected no Mecha fragments."

"Peepers found no Mecha movement vectors."

Following three consecutively monotone affirmations, the Peepers shifted their attention once more, fixing their silent scrutiny upon the immense Crystal Ball.

These beings lacked the sophisticated intellect of the Saint Luo parasites; they merely employed their peculiar biological composition for the Star Body Fortress's preliminary threat identification.

Upon receiving these pronouncements, Goodrich gave a slight nod, his agitated heart finding some measure of calm.

The declarations from the Peepers held considerable weight and reliability.

Within the hierarchical structure of the Gemini command, Lamar, as the primary commander, directed the large-scale operational forces, while Goodrich, the secondary commander, bore responsibility for the legion's supporting functions. The most formidable detection unit of the frontline legion resided within his command chamber.

The very presence of these specialized "eyes" guaranteed the second core's current operational normalcy.

He was absolutely determined not to repeat the errors Lamar had committed.

The moment a target was identified, the towering spire could descend instantly, triggering the fortress's defensive posture.

A fully mobilized Star Body Fortress transforms into a genuine bastion of war!

"Any adversary that dares to provoke the Saint Luo Clan shall find no salvation."

Goodrich lifted his somewhat rigid countenance, calmly observing the spore-laden haze gradually receding beyond the Star Body Shield.

Ding...

A delicate, metallic resonance softly reverberated from the chamber's upper reaches.

A flicker of uncertainty manifested in the eyes of every Saint Luo individual present, most notably in Goodrich, who immediately directed his gaze skyward.

The ceiling of the vast, conical structure betrayed no sign of disturbance, and the Peepers, in unison, turned their eyes upward, their palms subtly stroking the surface of the immense Crystal Ball.

Minute spikes promptly extended from the tower's circumference.

A 360-degree light array, emanating from four distinct points, swept across the area, and the resulting visualization was vividly projected onto the hall's domed screen.
