The Dawn Battleship navigates a wormhole filled with mysterious spore clusters that Black identifies as a form of mineral collection apparatus used by an unknown invading species. When the ship is damaged after colliding with the spore-covered wall, Black activates the "Ice-breaking" mode, shedding damaged armor and reconfiguring engines to push through the hostile environment. As they approach the exit, Mu Fan realizes the spores are transmitting information and rushes to prepare for a potential ambush.

A resounding echo filled the air.

Within the expansive, vacant warehouse, a pair of crimson eyes abruptly snapped open.

“Understood!”

Upon the dark, empty deck, a torrent of fiery star mist surged from every direction, as if time itself had momentarily ceased its flow.

The star mist violently contracted!

In the subsequent moment, a fearsome scarlet cloak billowed outwards.

At this juncture, the deck was mere meters from Mu Fan. Moving at immense velocity, it appeared his imminent fate would be a catastrophic plunge.

However, precisely at that instant, Mu Fan’s lips curved into a smirk, and a jet-black metallic hand suddenly emerged from the periphery.

Mu Fan’s form alighted perfectly within the palm, and with a swift movement, the hand disappeared.

Thud!

A colossal black silhouette ascended from the void before descending.

The partially unfurled crimson lotus emblem on the chest began to glow, casting the first illumination within the somber warehouse.

Subsequently, slender fiery lines emanated from the chest emblem, tracing across the entire form and pulsing with a dim, rhythmic luminescence like intricate veins.

This fleeting radiance finally delineated the formidable outline of the Shura.

Lifting its head to gaze skyward, Mu Fan subtly raised his heel and executed a gentle stomp.

Buzz!

The specialized energy-absorbing alloy flooring responded with visible ripples that radiated outwards.

The Shura launched upwards instantaneously!

Engaging the Ice-breaking stance, the warship surged forward. The star mist within the two flanking corridors flowed like liquid steel, instantly disintegrating any metallic armor drawn into its path.

This intricate maneuver was Black’s strategy: propelling the Dawn Battleship to its absolute maximum speed, utilizing the star mist and the shrapnel from exploding armor to forge a dual-layered defense and carve out a temporary vacuum passage!

At that very moment, a dark shape shot out from the vessel, plunging headlong into the cascading star mist torrent above.

It was like a bomb being consumed by the surging metallic currents!

Immediately, a colossal, fan-shaped explosion, spanning over a kilometer in radius, erupted in the mid-air.

Below, the swiftly advancing Dawn Battleship glided past, covering thousands of meters in the blink of an eye.

Observing the immense starflow explosion receding behind them, Black, assured that the Shura Mecha could not possibly be in peril, couldn't help but exclaim, “Mu Fan!”

A second later, there was no reply.

This unexpected silence caught Black completely off guard; the situation was not proceeding as anticipated.

Yet, just as it prepared to speak again, a distorted voice crackled through the ultra-close-range public channel, “Remember, once we’re outside… find a safe haven!”

Mu Fan's deep, resonant voice boomed forth at this critical juncture.

Concurrently, the turbulent, fan-shaped star mist torrent appeared to freeze, only to surge backward catastrophically in the following instant.

Moving with a speed that surpassed even the Dawn Battleship, it raced forward!

It was akin to a surfer having conquered a colossal wave, only to find that same wave, in the very next moment, reversing its course and instantly overtaking them.

Within the virtual space, Black watched in stunned disbelief, nearly uttering an expletive.

The Shura’s silhouette became clearly visible, its fist extended straight ahead.

Originating from the Shura as the epicenter, a vast vacuum zone, stretching over a kilometer in radius, materialized.

With a single punch, the star mist torrent across the fan-shaped expanse was utterly cleared!

With a single punch, a vacuum was instantaneously created within the wormhole’s contorted spatial fabric!

And the force of that singular punch had not yet expended its full power.

The expelled star mist torrent coalesced into a monumental wave, continuing its relentless surge forward like an immense, sweeping dam.

The crimson glow on the fist gradually subsided as the Shura retracted its combat stance, calmly observing the warship receding into a minuscule speck in the distance, while the four crimson engines blazed behind it.

Navigating the wormhole, a realm teeming with myriad complex materials, the Shura forcefully tore through, generating triple sonic-boom shockwaves and transforming into a crimson meteor.

In less than half a second, it streaked directly above the Dawn Battleship.

This time, within the virtual space, Black was left utterly speechless, its jaw hanging open.

“This Shura is… utterly unhinged!”

All obstacles in its path, including the mountain-like star mist torrent, were cleaved asunder by the crimson meteor!

The forcibly divided torrent impacted the wormhole’s walls, triggering a cascade of larger spore chain explosions.

Half a second later, Black’s visual feed completely lost sight of the Shura.

Black appeared momentarily dazed, its spherical metallic avatar turning to face the virtual wall, lost in thought for a beat, contemplating whether a collision was in order.

….

….

“Zone B11’s spore collection cluster is reporting a large-scale power failure!”

“Energy flame flow has been detected originating from wormhole spore explosions, confirming an attack on our spore collection cluster!”

Two “planets,” each spanning three kilometers in diameter and shrouded in dense, yellow-green smog, materialized silently in the quiet expanse of space.

Within this thick haze, each “planet” sported a spire, five hundred meters in height, that protruded outwards.

These spires bore a striking resemblance to the architectural forms of ancient, sacred ceremonial structures.

“Master Lamar, we are detecting significant disorder within the wormhole’s energy nebula, and this disarray is escalating.”

“This indicates the imminent transit of a large vessel through the wormhole!”

Within a grand hall atop one of the spires, a line of pale men clad in black suits stood in silent formation.

The man at the forefront, standing nearly two meters tall, was powerfully built, much like those behind him, but possessed a more natural and robust complexion.

This was the individual known to others as “Lamar.”

“These ignorant and backward fools dare to destroy our Holy Clan’s collection station…”

Lamar’s right fist slowly clenched as he spoke in a low voice, visible bulges the size of eggs shifting from his arm to his massive fist.

In an instant, the fist expanded to twice its normal size.

These “people” seemed to exude a peculiar aura from every part of their being.

“Dispatch the Yellow Sand Fleet to annihilate these detestable wretches.”

“Understood, sir!” the reporting man in the black suit replied stiffly, turning to depart.

“Also, secure two alive; we require intelligence on the entities on the other side of the wormhole,” Lamar suddenly commanded as his subordinate was about to exit the spire’s apex.

“Understood.”

...

Mere seconds later, the yellow-green smoke enveloping the left “planet” began to churn turbulently.

Sections of the smoke were ripped apart, revealing swarms of warships resembling locusts emerging from within.

The design of these warships mirrored those of the Holy Luo Clan ships seen in the Light Relics, differentiated only by their uniform, desert-yellow coloration.

At first glance, the locust battleships measured no more than 100 meters in length, yet their sheer numbers formed a veritable ocean—whether tens or hundreds of thousands, they appeared like mechanized Zegs.

In the profound silence of space, a tranquil area suddenly underwent a massive distortion, as if an untouched mirror were being fractured.

That very space…

Shattered abruptly!

“Fire!”
