Chapter 1484: Chapter 219: Teacher…
Intelligence…
Mu Fan’s eyelid twitched.
The very first thought that crossed his mind was the legendary warship, the “Firmament Envoy,” which had abruptly sliced through the void!
When that warship materialized, Shura had reacted unusually.
The aura of the Great Yang Emperor was present on the ship!
Could the scar, permanently etched onto the ship’s hull, be a clue to the Great Yang Emperor’s whereabouts?
However, did Gu Yunyou truly comprehend the connection between the Great Yang Emperor and Shura?
Within this expansive universe, that formidable weapon had appeared for mere moments before vanishing without a trace.
Could this intelligence, never before seen in the annals of history, have suddenly surfaced?
He could confirm from his memories that Shura had drawn its blade for only a few fleeting moments at that time. If not for the memory recollection of Shura’s very being…
Amidst the immense expanse of space.
It would have been utterly impossible for anyone to discern the form of the Great Yang Emperor.
Mu Fan suppressed the turmoil and questions swirling within him, his gaze calmly fixed ahead. “Speak.”
“I am aware you have been actively searching for Ancient Relics lately, with more urgency than anyone else. Ever since Yin Shuai mentioned it to me, I’ve been consciously directing the Revolution Army to gather related intelligence…”
Gu Yunyou’s composed voice resonated slowly for a moment.
But Mu Fan’s heart… skipped a significant beat!
Ancient Relics!
He had never anticipated Gu Yunyou bringing up Ancient Relics again.
He understood with certainty that the term “Ancient Relics” at this juncture certainly did not refer to the previously discovered Light Relics.
Gu Yunyou noticed the undeniable flicker of emotion in Mu Fan’s eyes and chuckled softly, not bothering to conceal his awareness as he continued in his calm tone.
“After all, we were once classmates and comrades… My subordinates discovered a severely damaged artificial satellite on a planet designated ‘Winter Tree.’
“Naturally, it is not within Federation territory… My personnel were merely conducting routine space surveys. On that satellite, they identified a record of anomalous gravitational waves, dating back approximately one month.
“The recorded spatial ripple bears an exact resemblance to the singularity that erupted over Capital Star.”
Having concluded, Gu Yunyou observed Mu Fan in silence.
His gaze drifted to Mu Fan’s left hand, which rested upon the conference table.
That slender, scarred hand began to tremble faintly at that precise moment.
Mu Fan’s lips parted, his voice roughening. “Is this… true?”
Gu Yunyou casually reached for a silver metallic box near his feet, placed it on the table, and gave it a gentle push.
With masterful control of force, the metallic box glided smoothly over ten meters, settling into Gu Yunyou’s grasp.
“Contained within is the survey memory box from that satellite, along with a data unit that captured the energy signature from the battle at Capital Star. You may compare them yourself.”
“Regarding the planet named ‘Winter Tree,’ I have also instructed my men to secure its star map within the data unit. It is located deep within the Outer Domain Galaxy… previously under the jurisdiction of the Firmament Corps, now occupied by a newly emerged, enigmatic force.”
“This constitutes all the intelligence I have amassed, in the hope that it proves beneficial to you.”
Gu Yunyou elegantly raised his still-warm cup of coffee, taking a satisfied sip.
The familiar ambiance of the campus, the familiar sensations…
Everything felt as if it were just like before.
Gu Yunyou appeared to be lost in those cherished memories.
Thud.
Mu Fan clasped the box with one hand, applying firm pressure, his fingertips turning white from the strain.
The turbulence in his eyes was forcibly subdued by his iron will as he looked towards Gu Yunyou, who was elegantly holding a coffee cup. He offered a deep bow.
“Thank you!”
His voice was solemn and resonated clearly.
Gu Yunyou’s motion of gently blowing on his coffee halted as he lifted his head to regard Mu Fan. “It seems I was able to assist you, though I am unaware of the specifics. The scouts who returned were afflicted with a peculiar parasitic virus and perished, and the mysterious force’s sphere of influence has expanded further. For the sake of Federation stability, I cannot reasonably dispatch the Revolution Army to the Outer Domain Galaxy; I trust you understand.”
“Under these circumstances, let us conclude today’s meeting here.”
This young man, commanding a vast military force, had taken the initiative to bring their conversation to a close.
Mu Fan lifted the box. “When I return, I shall treat you to drinks.”
“Hahaha, excellent, it would be best if everyone could join.”
Gu Yunyou waved, turned sharply, and departed, his gentle voice trailing back.
“In this lifetime, you are the only one I can regard as both an opponent and a comrade. Journey safely.”
The door creaked open.
Two Major officers, clad in crisp blue military uniforms, led a contingent of twenty, standing at solemn attention for a prolonged period.
“Commander.”
“Let us proceed,” Gu Yunyou nodded, and the group’s figures gradually vanished from atop the mountain.
Within the expansive glass atrium, only Mu Fan remained.
Standing alone, yet undeniably present.
The academy personnel who had been waiting outside felt as though a blade, newly drawn, had been presented before their very eyes.
Cold, sharp, and resolute.
“Please convey my greetings to Dean Tang. Mu Fan is currently engaged in important affairs and must depart for now…”
A polite voice resonated near their ears.
These individuals instinctively murmured their assent, then watched as the young man, a metallic crate in tow, strode out of the grand hall, each step deliberate.
“What was the subject of their discussion today?”
“I’m uncertain. Observing Ke Qingshan’s demeanor, it appeared to be a lighthearted exchange. However, Mu Fan’s bearing suggested the matter was quite serious.”
“Since when did the younger generation of students possess such gravitas? It’s truly astounding.”
“We’ve certainly entered an era brimming with prodigies. I’m suddenly feeling quite aged.”
“This academy has remarkably produced two legendary prodigies in this current cohort…”
Amidst the murmuring throng, Mu Fan ascended the flying platform positioned before him.
The air currents swirled, and the biting mountain wind whipped through his tousled hair, revealing a face etched with determination and maturity.
“Black, verify all intel and initiate gravitational ripple comparisons.”
“Summon Qi Longxiang and General Falcon to the Dawn Battleship.”
“Plot a course for the Winter Tree planet and devise a comprehensive battle strategy. Ascertain the threat levels of all opposing forces, calculate potential combat outcomes, and prepare… for deployment.”
A succession of decisive commands issued forth from Mu Fan’s lips.
“A preliminary assessment indicates that if we deploy armed forces, resistance will be overwhelmingly formidable. The Saint Luo Clan’s invasion, the newly identified Firmament Corps, and potentially the involvement of other Eight Xingluo Corps… are all factors,” Black’s synthesized voice reported in his ear.
“Then I shall determine…”
“Who exactly dares to block my path.”
With those indifferent words, Mu Fan’s figure completely disappeared within the Guidance Ship.
…
…
Within the silent expanse of the cosmos.
Countless asteroids drifted serenely through space.
Occasionally, violent space storms raged, causing celestial bodies to be silently extinguished amidst their furious, dark tempests.
Despite the ferocity of the storms, this particular asteroid belt was extraordinarily dense.
Ultimately, the spatial tempest could not penetrate the Chaotic Stone Zone, nor could it invade the star system it enveloped.
Eight planets in quiet orbit around a blazing star.
The fifth planet, counting inward from the edge, possessed a tenuous atmospheric layer…
Here, life appeared to show nascent signs of existence.
“Teacher, teacher, look at the drawing I made today! Isn’t it wonderful?”
Beneath the vast sky, at the base of imposing mountains, bordering endless verdant grasslands.
In a village sparsely populated with inhabitants, a young boy, clad in little more than rough furs, ran boisterously towards the village center.
Clutched tightly in his small, dark hand, he proudly brandished a piece of aged wooden board.
At the edge of his vision, a figure seated upon a stone happened to turn around.
Revealing a pair of eyes curved into a smile… resembling crescent moons.

(I have been temporarily reassigned to the City Disciplinary Committee; the estimated duration is around one and a half months. Overtime is a constant occurrence there. This change in duties has significantly impacted my update schedule… I will endeavor to adapt to this new environment, though a sense of melancholy lingers.)
