Hela, Odin's firstborn and Goddess of Death, emerges from the death dimension to find Odin dead and Asgard in disarray. She confronts Jason, who reveals he killed Odin and demands to know how to use the Bifrost. Hela proposes an alliance, but Jason, empowered by the Power Stone, absorbs Hela's power of Death, leaving her vulnerable. Valkyrie arrives, seeking revenge on Hela for a past tragedy. Jason intervenes when Hela tries to take Valkyrie hostage, enhancing Valkyrie's sword and allowing her to wound Hela. Hela begs for her life, offering information on the Bifrost, but Valkyrie, revealing Heimdall took the Rainbow Sword, ultimately kills Hela.

A severed head rolled across the floor with a series of dull thuds. Hela lay face up, her expression distorted, eyes wide in a final, unblinking stare. She had waited a thousand years for Odin’s seal to break, only to be beheaded within half an hour of returning to the living world. Without her power of Death, she could no longer slip between the veil of life and death; she was now bound eternally to the Realm of the Dead.

"It’s over!" Having carried out her vengeance personally, the decades of accumulated hatred in Valkyrie’s heart finally began to dissipate.

Once she had regained some composure, Jason spoke: "Let’s go. We still need to head to Nidavellir to find someone to forge a new Rainbow Sword."

Valkyrie looked up, her gaze lingering on the golden spires of Asgard with complex emotions. Then, she threw Dragonfang to the ground and turned away without a single trace of nostalgia.

As they boarded the ship, Valkyrie manually input the coordinates for Nidavellir. She asked casually, "Odin didn’t leave any messages behind. Do you know where they took the Infinity Stone?"

Jason nodded confidently. "Of course. In their situation, there is only one place they could go."

"Where?" Valkyrie asked, curious.

"Earth!"

Valkyrie was confused. "Earth is your home. Why would they run straight into the lion’s den?"

Jason smiled. "Do you know why I ended up on Sakaar in the first place?"

Valkyrie nodded. "Your explanation was that you were exiled into space by a super-powerful individual and happened to crash on Sakaar."

"Exactly," Jason said. "That powerhouse is the Sorcerer Supreme, the protector of Earth. The Time Stone is hidden with her. Thor and the others know very well that as long as they carry the Tesseract, I will find them no matter where they hide in the universe. Their only choice is to go to Earth, find the Sorcerer Supreme, and join forces to wipe me out for good."

Valkyrie finally understood. "So, once we get the Rainbow Sword, you can go home."

Jason sighed. "Yeah. It’s funny; I didn’t think about it much until you mentioned Earth, but now I miss it terribly."

"Don’t worry," Valkyrie comforted him. "Nidavellir isn’t far from Asgard. Between the travel and the forging of the blade, you’ll be home in less than half a month."

Watching Asgard recede into the distance, Jason murmured, "I hope everything goes smoothly."

Time passes differently throughout the universe. For Jason, he had been away from his family for seven long years. But for those on Earth, Jason had been gone for nearly fourteen years.

A massive estate sat near the coastline, covering an area as large as a standard soccer field. Within the grounds stood three American-style villas: the main mansion, the largest of the three, and two smaller annexes. The main house was where the owner lived. One annex was for entertaining guests, while the other housed the estate’s domestic staff and security detail. The manor featured a standard garden and swimming pool, a small golf course, and a private pier complete with a yacht. To own such an estate in the expensive real estate market of New York, the owners had to be incredibly wealthy.

The rising sun cast its glow over every corner, the quiet garden filled with the sound of birds and the scent of flowers. Two maids pushed a service cart from the annex to the dining room of the main house. They set breakfast at opposite ends of a twenty-meter-long table and began cleaning the utensils, waiting for the masters to come downstairs.

Fifteen minutes later, the sound of leather boots on wooden floors echoed through the hall. The maids on the first floor looked toward the staircase, wearing sincere smiles and bowing respectfully.

"Good morning, Young Master. Good morning, Miss."

"Mhm..."

After receiving a brief acknowledgment, the maids looked up. Two young people descended the stairs and took their seats at the table. The young man was handsome and dashing, wearing a slim-fit black suit that accentuated his height and noble bearing. The young woman had flowing blonde hair and wore a pale yellow dress paired with short brown leather boots. Her long thighs were crossed as she sat, her every smile and glance capable of captivating anyone’s soul.

They ate in silence, enjoying the service of the maids. A closer look revealed that their features shared a distinct similarity, confirming they were related by blood. However, an outsider wouldn’t know if they were siblings or twins. These two, possessing such otherworldly beauty, were Jason’s children: Bryan and Angelina.

It had been nearly fourteen years since Jason left. The two toddlers from back then had grown into teenagers in the blink of an eye. Looking back, their early childhood had been one of constant upheaval. To evade enemies and S.H.I.E.L.D., Jason had moved them from one safe house to another every few months. They would barely get used to an environment before it was time to leave.

After Jason’s sudden disappearance, the whole family moved to Africa, living in a secure but depressing underground factory. Back then, the two children wished every day that their father would come home. But whenever they asked, their mothers would lie to them. It wasn’t until they grew older and more mature that they realized their father hadn’t come home because he had been cast out by a powerful mage and was no longer on this planet. Although countless signs suggested he was alive, no one could guarantee he would ever return.

After years underground, they finally moved above ground, settling in the Kingdom of Wakanda. It was there that their true childhood began. They made new friends and received nearly a decade of advanced education. However, while Wakanda was superior in many ways, it was still too small compared to the rest of the world. The children wanted to see more.

Thus, after a discussion between the two mothers, it was decided to send them to New York for high school. Though reluctant to let them go, both mothers understood that letting them spread their wings was necessary for their growth. They chose New York. It was because this was the place where Jason had built his empire and where the children were born.

The rebuilt New York had completely discarded its old road layouts and regional planning. The U.S. government had invited several top design firms to collaborate on creating a super-city for a new era. It was a gathering place for elites from across the globe—a true city of dreams.

As for safety, the primary concern of studying abroad, the two mothers had no reason to worry. First, the Long Island estate was garrisoned by elite combatants from the Joker organization. They guarded Bryan and Angelina twenty-four hours a day. Second, both children had inherited Jason’s genes and were super-powered individuals with strong self-defense capabilities. Furthermore, Harley’s spatial powers had reached Level 9. She only needed a few jumps to reach any corner of the globe. If the children were in danger, Harley could arrive instantly. Finally, Norman and his S.H.I.E.L.D. provided various conveniences and protection. To put it bluntly, the Joker organization visiting New York now was as easy as walking through their own backyard.

The siblings finished their breakfast and left the main house. A luxury customized Rolls-Royce was already waiting at the door.

"Young Master, Miss, please get in!" The bodyguard held the door open. Once they were settled, he closed the door and sat in the front passenger seat. The driver started the car and smoothly exited the manor.

The interior of the car was exceptionally quiet, save for the faint hum of the engine and the sound of breathing. Angelina was reading a thick textbook. Bryan, meanwhile, was using the vanity mirror to adjust his carefully styled hair.

"I won’t be coming back tonight. Don’t wait up for me!"

Hearing this, the bodyguard in the front passenger seat turned around with a troubled expression. "Young Master, I will need to inform the Master of this."

"Sure... whatever you want!" Bryan replied nonchalantly.

Angelina pulled her attention away from science and glanced at her brother. Her expression suggested she was entirely used to this behavior. Relying on his god-given good looks and mysterious family background, Bryan attracted attention from the opposite sex wherever he went. In the less than two years they had lived in America, the number of women Bryan had been with was well into the triple digits.

What Angelina found most intolerable was that many of these women were married. She truly couldn’t understand why Bryan was willing to be with women a dozen years older than him, or even more. If it were her, the mere thought would make her nauseous.

"Staying out again? Which girl is it tonight? Do I know her?"

"You probably do. She’s..." Bryan paused, having momentarily forgotten her name. He scratched his head and thought for a bit. "She’s the leggy blonde from the class next door."

Angelina rolled her eyes beautifully. "Gwen Stacy?"

"Right! That’s her!"

Angelina nodded slightly. "Not bad. This one is a major step up from your previous flings."

"Really? What’s so special about her?" Bryan asked, curious.

Angelina rattled off the facts: "Gwen Stacy. Her father is the Captain of the New York Police Department’s Queens precinct. She’s the eldest daughter and has two younger brothers. Not only is her family background solid, but Gwen herself is the ace of the school debate team and is currently an intern at Oscorp Industries in Manhattan."

"Oh, so that’s it. Maybe I can talk to her about her Captain father tonight. Call it ’infiltrating enemy lines to gather intel.’" Bryan smiled, full of anticipation for his sleepless night.

"Sigh..." Angelina shook her head, offering no further comment.

Seeing this, Bryan’s expression turned serious as he began to lecture his sister. "Angelina, you’re a seventeen-year-old high schooler now. You haven’t even had a single boyfriend. Don’t you think that’s a waste? We’ve already missed the window for early romance. If you graduate high school without a first love, your youth will be a wasteland. I know a few decent guys; how about I invite them over for you to take your pick?"

Angelina looked out the window, her voice flat. "I have zero interest in those things. Your friends aren’t even worth a glance from me. And you know I have my own dream."

"Yeah, I know!" Bryan shook his head, bored. "Defeat the Ancient One and become the strongest sorcerer."

Angelina said, "Since you know, you should understand that I can’t waste my time on such boring things."

Bryan countered, "The Ancient One has lived for a thousand years. Defeating her isn’t something you can do overnight. If you throw away your youth for that, I think it’s a bad trade. You can wait until after college to do that stuff."

Angelina said. "It’s not your place to lecture me. In my view, spending every day surrounded by women is the real waste of youth and life."

Bryan curled his lip in disdain. "Fine! If you won’t listen to advice, we’ll each do our own thing. No interference."

"Business as usual!"

The unpleasant conversation ended there. Having secured his "overnight pass" from his mother, Bryan went back to preening, while Angelina immersed herself back in the sea of knowledge. As they entered adolescence, both children had become increasingly rebellious. They had their own ideas and wanted to lead their own lives, no longer following the orders of adults blindly. Not to mention, having grown up together, the siblings had long since grown tired of each other’s presence.

The Rolls-Royce pulled up to the gates of Midtown School of Science and Technology in Queens, New York. The appearance of the expensive gold-plated "Spirit of Ecstasy" immediately drew the gazes of countless students and teachers.

They were all too familiar with this car. Bryan and Angelina were the stars of Midtown High. Many stopped just to catch a glimpse of them—including swooning girls and old creeps simply looking to admire the handsome and beautiful.

The bodyguard opened the door, and the two walked straight into the campus. Bryan led the way, smiling and greeting students and faculty as he passed. Wherever he went, a squad of brainless fan-girls followed; anyone unaware would have thought a global superstar had arrived.

Angelina looked cold, carrying a book in one hand as she walked with an elegant stride. She quickly distanced herself from Bryan. This was a tacit understanding between the two. Bryan loved being the center of attention, while Angelina found the crowds too noisy and preferred peace and quiet.

However, no matter where she was, a beauty never lacked attention—especially a goddess of her caliber. On the way to class, students everywhere were faking reading or walking just to steal a glance at her. Angelina felt a surge of disgust but was powerless to stop them. Not long ago, she had even caught a boy secretly taking photos of her.
