While traveling to Morul, the ship was ambushed by Ronan's fleet. Despite Valkyrie's efforts, their ship was disabled and they were captured. Taken aboard the Dark Aster, they surrendered the Orb to Ronan, but Valkyrie taunted him into opening it, revealing it to be the Power Stone.
