Yang Ji and Yang Xu worked through the night, using pills to recover their Qi as they subdued many children and transported them to the Recovery Hall. Their efforts were aided by the Heavenly Demon Queen's mastery of arrays, allowing them to bypass the dormitories' defenses. Meanwhile, Yang Kai was confronted by Yu Ru Meng and Shan Qing Luo, who revealed their plan to solidify his position as Principal and handle the political fallout. They admitted they hid the plan from Yang Kai partly as a playful punishment for past indiscretions, and tasked him with addressing the students while they managed external affairs.

For more than a day and a night, Yang Ji and Yang Xu toiled away, switching their duties. The comprehensive list they created even designated which child each of them should guide, leading to their shared responsibility.

Regrettably, the recovery time needed extended their efforts into the second day. Savvy teachers, particularly those whose students had been selected, detected the persistent Spatial fluctuations and opted to cancel classes for the remainder of the day. After all, who would risk their students vanishing into thin air while seated in class?

Although a few students found the situation peculiar, not all classes followed suit. For instance, Li Wu Yi’s and Jiu Feng’s classes were cancelled for a truly legitimate reason.

Thousand Year Ice Warming Liquor. This rare concoction could only be acquired through auction. Its scarcity and high demand stemmed from a singular, potent effect: it was one of the few liquors capable of inebriating a Master of the Open Heaven Realm.

Standard alcohol had no lasting impact on an Open Heaven Realm Master, as they could easily dissipate its effects. The Thousand Year Ice Warming Liquor, however, was different. Harnessing the intrinsic principles of Yin and Yang, it amplified its potency, permeating even their Small Universes and influencing all within. One could only endure its stupor until its effects naturally subsided.

Consequently, on this particular day, the three teachers were rendered incapable of holding classes. Fortunately, Jiu Feng and Xu Yi had informed the academy beforehand of their impending state of intoxication.

Their respective classes were the last ones designated for guidance by Yang Ji and Yang Xu.

Imparting their Daos to the remaining children demanded significant effort. The Twins hadn't anticipated becoming mentally fatigued by such a task.

This particular exhaustion, while treatable with Pills, was best remedied by sleep, as the Twins discovered. Moreover, if there was one activity the Twins cherished, it was sleep. Thus, even without a craving for sustenance, they would seize any opportunity to sleep.

This time, they could permanently link their rooms, allowing them to share a bed once more.

And within their dreams…

*Boom! Boom! Boom!*

Being unable to sustain injuries in this realm, they could freely spar to their heart's content. Furthermore, the environment could be shaped according to their desires.

It could be said to be their ultimate playground, a place where they could indulge their every whim without consequence. Naturally, this was only feasible due to their connection, enabling shared dreams. Otherwise, how desolate would a world be if one could only inhabit their own solitary dreams?

Alas, even these idyllic dreams had their limits. The Twins would eventually awaken, and sleep did not come easily to them. It wasn't insomnia in the typical sense, but rather a consequence of their cultivation realm. Similar to their dietary needs, they did not require sleep or food. Therefore, even with a desire to frolic in their dreams, falling asleep proved an arduous task.

Presently, Yang Ji unleashed a punch with sheer force, causing the very landscape to contort as Space fractured and the earth split asunder.

Yang Xu narrowly evaded the ferocious strike, diving in to deliver an uppercut potent enough to demolish structures.

However, Yang Ji had foreseen this counter. Despite Space being torn apart, he met the blow head-on, blocking it with his forehead.

The fist grazed his nose before landing squarely on his forehead. With a resounding *Boom!*, the two children separated as the dream combat concluded.

“Brother, that’s cheating. You wouldn’t have been able to withstand the full impact,” Yang Xu protested as the surroundings reverted to normal.

Yang Ji, however, retorted, “Nonsense. My forehead would barely register a sting from that.”

“*Sigh…* While we can fight to our heart’s content, I suppose without genuine pain, we can’t truly gauge our progress. I’m not really in the mood to play anymore…” Yang Xu sighed, turning away and altering the scenery.

They were now back in their familiar room within the Starry Sky Palace. Every detail, from the texture and scent to the ambient warmth, was meticulously replicated in the dream. She immediately went to the bed, exclaiming, “As I suspected, this place always feels the most comfortable.”

Yang Ji merely shook his head. “Indeed, it’s been quite some time since we’ve been in our room. But we rarely get such an opportunity. Shouldn’t we engage in something more exciting?”

“Brother, aren’t you tired? We’ve been sharing insights non-stop for nearly two full days. The very first thing you did after we finally slept was ask me to spar. We've already been at it for two hours. What more do you want? Can’t we just rest on the bed?” Yang Xu questioned, a pitiful expression gracing her features.

“But we rarely get the chance to spar like this. In the outside world, you’re too afraid to use your full strength and always refuse,” Yang Ji sighed.

“Let’s just chat, okay?” Yang Xu proposed, lying down completely, clearly not wanting to do anything else. Despite her ability to share information instantaneously if she desired, Yang Xu strangely favored these kinds of interactions.

Yang Ji relented, sitting down on the bed beside her. He then inquired, “Fine. So, what are our Mothers planning to do now?”

“They’ve stated they will handle our Parents. We don’t need to do anything further. But, Brother, don’t you think we’ve caused them quite a bit of trouble this time?” Yang Xu asked, a hint of worry in her voice.

“Our Mothers are among the strongest individuals in this world. Surely, this minor trouble is nothing to them. Still, I do feel bad for forcing them to cover for us. Perhaps I shouldn’t have acted that way towards Lei Ao?” Yang Ji reflected on his impulsive action. He hadn't intended for everything to unfold this way. He genuinely believed he was acting for the best. “What if we just accelerated time for them? That way, they would awaken far sooner.”

“Brother, Mother and Father explicitly warned us against employing Time Principles on others. Let’s not create any more trouble. I’m certain if any of them had wished to awaken them, they would have done so already. There must be a reason they refrain from such actions. It’s similar to how they forbid Yang Hao from entering a cultivation room with a different flow of time, even when he pleaded with them.”

“Oh…”

Noticing how her Brother’s mood had soured, Yang Xu quickly attempted to shift the conversation.

“By the way, I’m sure you’ve noticed by now, but that worm has been acting rather strangely lately, even going so far as to assist us. She believes I haven’t noticed, but she’s ventured into a room not designated as one of our targets, you know?” Yang Xu pointed out. Whenever the Heavenly Demon Queen crossed her mind, she couldn't help but frown.

“I’m sure she merely visited that mysterious Wu Lun with you. I don’t believe she intends to conceal it from us. After all, we can sense her location at all times. While I understand your mistrust, it's undeniable that she won't harm us due to our connection. In fact, she might even be eavesdropping on us right now. Although she didn't manifest in our last dream or this one, that doesn’t preclude her from overhearing us. She is connected to us, after all,” Yang Ji stated, glancing around the room as if hinting at something. However, no response came, as all remained silent.

“If she can eavesdrop on us even here, then our privacy has truly been compromised by her,” Yang Xu sighed. The room around them had changed, transforming into the cultivation room at Mo Na Ye’s place, or at least what remained of it, aside from the bed they occupied.

Yang Xu recalled the moments before the Heavenly Demon Queen appeared. Then, the scene shifted, displaying what they had witnessed previously. This time, they were observing themselves from a third-person perspective.

Yang Ji commented, “It seems recreating scenes accurately is still somewhat challenging… Fortunately, we have each other, allowing us to see one another. We typically visit various locations to observe different environments, enabling us to recreate them. I suppose we should have practiced this more.”

Yang Ji infused his own memories to aid Yang Xu, and the two re-watched the events that transpired a few months prior. However, even after the entire scene played out, they gained no new insights.

Subsequently, the scene transitioned to a playback of their last encounter with Little Eleven, specifically when he constructed that Array adorned with dark symbols.

“Argh… why didn’t I study more about the Dao of Spirit Arrays?” Yang Xu groaned, unable to comprehend Little Eleven’s actions.

“Well, judging by her proficiency with Arrays, I doubt you could seal her even if you were on Father’s level,” Yang Ji remarked, shaking his head. While he understood his sister's desire to learn how to replicate this specific Array, he doubted its effectiveness. After all, the Heavenly Demon Queen had broken free once before; why wouldn't she do so again? Even though her initial escape was from the outside, where the Array was weaker.

“I’m more intrigued by this…” Yang Ji focused, and the scene altered once more. This time, it depicted something neither of them had seen or heard before. Indeed, this was not an experience they had undergone previously.

The world was shrouded in darkness. Apart from their bed, they could barely discern anything.

However, two muffled and faint voices reached their ears.

‘I presume, then…’

*Crack!*

Yet, before any further developments could occur, the profound darkness splintered, resembling shattered glass, as web-like cracks snaked and spread across its surface. Despite their utmost efforts, the Twins found themselves powerless to contain this encroaching devastation. Still, amidst this abrupt turn of events, Yang Ji let out a triumphant grin.
