Yang Ji and Yang Xu are confused about why their father considers Yang Ji a master to Lei Ao, who is in a coma. Yang Ji shared deep insights into the Dao of Space and Time, causing Lei Ao to be unable to wake up. Yang Kai explains that sharing such profound insights, especially those combining two obscure Daos, makes Yang Ji Lei Ao's de facto master, a status other factions might exploit. Yang Ji proposes sharing these insights with everyone to normalize the situation and avoid the master-disciple title, a plan Yang Kai and Su Yan reluctantly consider.

Yang Kai observed Yang Ji, perceiving a profound depth in his gaze. He instantly surmised this revelation pertained to his recent secluded cultivation. “What is it?”

“Father, have you known all along that our cultivating paths were incomplete? That our Daos were destined to halt at this juncture?” Yang Ji inquired, his voice laced with both vexation and a hint of disappointment.

To Yang Ji’s surprise, Yang Kai’s admission was immediate and unhesitating. This directness only intensified Yang Ji’s frustration. “Yes.”

“Why?”

“Why have I remained silent until now? Would it have made any difference?” Yang Kai responded with a sigh, genuinely taken aback that one of his children had reached such a conclusion. He noted that even his wives hadn't discovered this truth independently; they only learned of it because he had told them.

Despite Yang Kai’s seemingly detached words, Yang Ji took a steadying breath and nodded. “Is there truly no alternative? Are we destined to remain deceived?”

At this juncture, Yang Kai firmly declared, “No. We are actively seeking solutions to overcome this limitation. That is precisely why–”

Su Yan intervened, raising a hand. “Ji’er, Xu’er, this knowledge must not be carelessly disseminated. Before we proceed, I require your solemn vow never to divulge this matter to others.”

“But Mother. Shouldn’t everyone be informed? That our pursuit is ultimately a dead end?” Yang Ji interjected swiftly.

“Absolutely not. There is no benefit in sowing chaos throughout this world. Why disturb the Dao Hearts of others, especially when they may never reach the stage to comprehend your realization? My children, please promise your Mother you will never speak of this to anyone unaware of the truth. If you cannot, then your Father and I will cease discussing this matter with you,” Su Yan stated resolutely.

Their Mother’s stern demeanor was exceptionally rare. The twins exchanged glances before taking their oaths.

““I swear.””

Su Yan met Yang Kai’s gaze, and he promptly continued, “Then, let me explain…”

Yang Kai began to articulate how he arrived at this profound realization. It stemmed from encountering an apparently insurmountable barrier within the Dao of Space. This impediment seemed omnipresent, affecting every single Dao he had mastered. Across all 3,000 Daos, he found the same insurmountable wall?

One might assume he had simply reached the zenith of his cultivation, leaving no further room for advancement. However, Yang Kai dismissed this notion entirely, not harboring a shred of doubt. He had, after all, encountered beings from realms beyond the 3,000 Worlds, entities who wielded entirely different Principles. It was logical to infer that their cultivated Daos also differed.

Nevertheless, these differences appeared akin to variations on a theme, not fundamentally distinct. Rudimentary Daos like the Sword Dao and Spear Dao seemed to exist in both realms, yet possessed subtle distinctions. This became even more evident after engaging in combat with such individuals within the Taboo Realm.

This served as a secondary impetus for his quest to explore other worlds, venturing far from the confines of the 3,000 Worlds. If the Taboo Realm imparted any lesson, it was the vastness of his own ignorance; he, much like those entrapped within, was merely a frog in a well.

Undoubtedly, rescuing his friend Chong Jiu held importance. Yet, the diverse worlds, with their unique cultivation systems and distinct Daos, demanded thorough investigation. It was glaringly apparent that their current path led to a dead end, and even the Open Heaven Realm method was demonstrably flawed. The sole recourse was to seek answers in the unknown.

However, this particular matter had become acutely sensitive.

Such profound truths could only be grasped by experts who had attained the pinnacle of their respective Daos. If these individuals were to discover that further progression necessitated departing the 3,000 Worlds, what would be the consequence?

Logically, beings who had dedicated their existence to their chosen Daos would pursue this new path relentlessly, regardless of fatigue. They would spare no effort, continuously striving towards their goal. After all, to reach their current standing, each must have possessed an unwavering drive and immense determination.

Regrettably, Yang Kai could not possibly permit these formidable experts to abandon the 3,000 Worlds unguarded. If all such cultivators were to depart simultaneously, who would protect their realm should unforeseen trouble arise?

These individuals possessed no knowledge of their destination or even a discernible route, yet they would readily flock towards this uncertain prospect like moths to a flame, simply upon hearing of a potential ‘opportunity’ beyond some distant horizon.

The 3,000 Worlds could not afford such a perilous gamble at this critical juncture. The realms were still recovering from the recent war and required guidance for the emerging generations.

While some might brand Yang Kai's methods as excessively cautious or heavy-handed, he was keenly aware of an unseen influence orchestrating events from the shadows. This enigmatic Force, operating within the World Creation Realm, was something Yang Kai regarded with deep suspicion. Could he truly engineer a scenario where Little Eleven found herself unable to discuss certain truths? Was it within his power to compel experts from various worlds to assemble for the creation of the Taboo Realm without their resistance, as if by natural design? Even with his current might, Yang Kai acknowledged he wasn't capable of such absolute control.

So, for the sake of the 3,000 Worlds, they resolved to maintain secrecy, sharing this knowledge only amongst a select few. His wives were, of course, part of this inner circle, as were Yang Xiao and Yang Xue. Beyond High Heaven Palace, only a handful of individuals whom Yang Kai trusted implicitly were made privy to this clandestine information.

Since Yang Ji and Yang Xu had independently uncovered hints of this secret and voiced their concerns, Yang Kai saw no reason to withhold the truth any longer. He revealed it openly, having long anticipated such a day, though he hadn't expected it to arrive quite so soon…

Yang Ji nodded and directed a question to the Heavenly Demon Queen via his Divine Sense, asking, "Is what my Father claims true? That an enemy of such immense power exists?"

This time, the Heavenly Demon Queen did not hesitate, readily confirming, "Indeed, one whose strength lies far beyond your current comprehension."

"Do we stand any chance against them?" Yang Ji inquired, his heart beginning to pound with apprehension.

"No."

That single, definitive word caused both Yang Ji and Yang Xu's spirits to plummet. If even their Father couldn't confront such a formidable entity, who could possibly prevail?

However, the Heavenly Demon Queen continued, adding, "It is impossible while you remain confined to this realm."

"Wait. So, if Father were to leave this realm, we would have a chance!" Yang Xu exclaimed, a flicker of hope igniting within him. Yet, the Heavenly Demon Queen's silence only served to heighten their frustration.

"Argh! Why do you cease answering precisely when we need real insight!?" Yang Xu felt an urge to throttle the ethereal being.

"Sister, it's alright. I believe she is subject to certain restrictions, much like Uncle Eleven..." Yang Ji attempted to de-escalate the situation.

*Heh* A soft chuckle emanated from the Queen, which only served to further agitate Yang Xu.

"Brother, don't you realize she's deliberately avoiding our questions!!" Yang Xu reprimanded, but Yang Ji simply shook his head. "If she is unwilling to answer, we cannot force her. Besides, our fates are intertwined; she harbors no ill will towards us."

...

This rapid exchange transpired in mere moments, imperceptible to Yang Kai and Su Yan. Consequently, it fell upon Yang Ji to convey the Heavenly Demon Queen's cryptic statements to his parents.

Yang Kai gave a slight nod and turned his gaze towards Su Yan. He didn't bother pressing for an audience with the Heavenly Demon Queen, seemingly accepting that she might refuse his request for reasons unknown. "That was informative. For the present, I need to confer with your Mother."

Yang Xu hastily clasped her fists in a bow, urging Yang Ji to follow suit. They quickly departed the area, teleporting away with Yang Ji. Their haste, however, was carefully controlled to avoid raising suspicion.

"What's the rush? We rarely get to see Father. I still have a few questions I'd like to ask him," Yang Ji remarked.

Yang Xu quickly retorted, "Now that Father and Mother are intensely focused on this matter, this presents the ideal opportunity."

It took Yang Ji less than a second to grasp the implication of 'ideal opportunity'. "Are you serious? We could simply wait until they grant us permission to proceed."

"I am confident our Mothers will lend their support. Moreover, they mentioned this is an opportune moment," Yang Xu stated.

Yang Ji found himself incredulous. "Why are you acting so out of character? You usually try to avoid trouble."

Typically, Yang Ji was the instigator, with Yang Xu following his lead. It was genuinely unusual for her to take the initiative, especially when they both knew this course of action was likely to result in disciplinary action.

"Well..." Yang Xu hesitated, searching for the right words.

"Hmm..." Her evasiveness only piqued Yang Ji's curiosity further.

Unable to maintain her composure, Yang Xu finally admitted plainly, "Alright, alright. Mother Yu Ru Meng instructed me to do this. While you were immersed in your cultivation, I discovered the existence of Red Clouds Cave Heaven. The Cave Heaven Master didn't even attempt to conceal his aura upon his arrival; he practically announced his presence. I sensed it instinctively and questioned our Mothers about the reason for such ostentatious behavior. That is how I became aware of the situation."

“When conversing with our Mothers, Mother Yu Ru Meng had already informed me of potential developments and the future course of action. However, I was unable to act upon it as you were occupied with cultivation. At that time, when you were seeking insights, you required drawing Qi from me. It was simply not feasible for me to do that while you were in secluded cultivation. Therefore, I had to wait until you emerged.”

“I apologize for withholding this information from you.”

Evidently, she hadn't transmitted her complete memories to Yang Ji initially. She even went to the extent of elaborating on the sequence of events. This certainly captured Yang Ji's attention, but he chose to remain silent, wishing to respect his Sister’s privacy whenever possible.

“Wait, so what were you shocked about back then?” Yang Ji recollected the scene in that room, when both their mouths hung agape at the news.

“I was taken aback by how swiftly the other party reacted. It's only been about a week since they discovered it, you realize? For the entire Cave Heaven to acknowledge that you'll be on par with their Elders, isn't that rather absurd?” Yang Xu elaborated.

Yang Ji offered a nod, then inquired, “Then, why did you feel it was necessary to conceal the plan from me?”

“Well…” Yang Xu couldn't bring herself to admit that she didn't want to reveal how she and the Mothers engaged in their 'girls' meetings' periodically. Furthermore, she was reluctant to disclose that one of their Mothers was instructing her on certain ‘activities’.

“A person of integrity does not pry into a maiden’s confidences.” It was at this moment that the Heavenly Demon Queen interjected, swiftly dispatching a private Divine Sense message to Yang Xu, “You owe me one.”

“Very well, very well. I shall not press for further details. If this is a task assigned by Mother Yu Ru Meng, then we might as well proceed with it. If our Mothers are the ones upholding Heaven, then I suppose it would be perfectly acceptable even if every student were to fall into a deep coma.” Yang Ji rolled his eyes at this peculiar alliance.
