A giant reveals its power, exiling an entire race and its strongest individuals to a dimension called Void. Later, the Human race emerges and thrives until invaded by Void Spirits. World Light reveals he wields the Silver Giant's power, shocking Jia Xun, and prepares to enact a grand performance. Meanwhile, Su Tu ruthlessly slaughters the remaining Human Race prodigies, including Lin An and his companions.

Su Tu’s eyes blazed scarlet as he gazed upon the throne, an insatiable desire igniting within them. The very next moment, he ascended the blood-red expanse without a trace of hesitation, like royalty striding towards his rightful seat.

The blood-colored throne pulsed with an ethereal light, as if awakening to its destined master. Above, the sun and moon began to quiver, hinting at an imminent animation.

Swiftly, Su Tu found himself before the throne. He turned, a panorama of the entire world unfolding before him; the vanquished geniuses lay as a blanket across the scorched lands.

Had reaching this pinnacle, this annihilation of all, this fratricidal and genocidal war among prodigies, truly been worth the cost?

Worth it!!

Naturally, occupying the throne promised ascension to divinity, crowning oneself the sole deity of this era!

With Su Tu’s present strength, his apotheosis would render him undeniably more formidable. When the divine beings eventually returned, coupled with the potent attributes of the Divine Seal, even they would become mere sustenance for him!

Ascend the throne! Transcend all!

A maelstrom of chaotic thoughts surged through Su Tu’s consciousness.

"The True King Competition has concluded," he declared softly, then initiated a backward descent onto the throne.

Witnessing Su Tu’s seated posture, World Light’s excitement intensified. His Niger Race form materialized, his fists clenching involuntarily.

"Sit! Sit upon this throne, ensconced within the 'cage' I meticulously crafted over eons!" World Light exclaimed, his voice resonating with exhilaration.

He regarded Jia Xun with the smugness of a victor.

"Truth be told, I’ve replayed this scene countless times, yet my fascination never wanes."

"Moreover, this time, I have a companion to share the experience. I always felt that upon the plan's fruition, conversing with no one would be a rather uninspired 'villain' act."

"Now, as per tradition, I shall illuminate the 'master' on the intricacies of my grand design."

World Light’s eyes narrowed, savoring the momentous occasion.

"All that transpires in this cycle will repeat, with the sole exception of this sanctuary, which will retain its influence over the external realm. Thus, I orchestrated this so-called 'True King Competition'."

"Within each cycle, the Human Race is permitted to occupy this throne, a throne for which I have expended so much intellectual effort."

"Every fragment composing this throne originates from a genius marked by the destiny of godhood. The power interconnecting them stems from what you term the Silver Throne."

"To occupy this throne is to resonate with the Silver Throne, to become an entity cloaked in the causality of godhood, stained with the future of Immortal Divine slaying. Facing the Silver Throne, can you fathom the inevitable outcome?"

World Light posed his rhetorical question, then eagerly supplied the answer himself.

"Such an individual shall face judgment from the Silver Throne, forfeiting their fate and karma, their very essence erased. Subsequently, the destiny of godhood and the future of Immortal Divine will coalesce within their hollow vessel, blossoming into the ultimate fruit upon this cosmic tree!"

Jia Xun observed World Light’s revelation with placid eyes, his expression imbued with an even deeper compassion.

"This 'tree' is my path to transcendence. Once realized, with but a modicum of further scheming, even should the All Realms shatter under the might of Daluo and Immortal Slaughter, this realm shall remain inviolate."

The instant World Light concluded his monologue...

Su Tu had already settled onto the throne. World Light's triumphant smile widened, only to falter and then vanish.

For he realized... Su Tu, seated upon the throne, remained utterly unchanged, as if resting on a common chair.

Su Tu, whose demeanor had been one of icy frost, now sported an enigmatic smile, its origin unknown.

He tilted his head back, finding a posture of supreme comfort on the throne, akin to sinking into a familiar couch.

"Was that entertaining?"

Su Tu’s voice, neither too loud nor too soft, reached World Light through the shimmering barrier.

His clear, unwavering eyes met World Light’s gaze through the translucent screen.

World Light’s countenance instantly contorted into an expression of profound darkness.

Boom!!!

In the ensuing moment, the light barrier imploded into fragments. World Light’s form dissipated, only to reappear instantly before Su Tu.

Standing opposite Su Tu, who remained seated on the throne, World Light’s expression was one of chilling malevolence.

"What have you done?"

His voice, sharp as ice, evoked an unsettling resonance, as if a chorus of tormented souls wailed beneath its chilling cadence.

The terrifying killing intent radiating from him leached the color from the surroundings.

"As you can plainly see, I have occupied the throne, just as I pledged."

"Yet, you appear distinctly displeased?" Su Tu inquired, his tone laced with playful mockery, as if addressing a familiar acquaintance.

However, World Light was clearly in no disposition for pleasantries.

The original plan dictated that the moment Su Tu occupied the throne, judgment would fall, leading to his destruction and transformation into a mere puppet, a being controlled by fate and destined to be the crowning fruit.

But the reality was far from that, leaving him unscathed.

"What have you done!!"

World Light's voice boomed again as his form blurred through the air, materializing instantly before Su Tu.

"It's not what I've done, you should be asking what *we* have done," Su Tu replied with a knowing chuckle.

Upon hearing this, World Light's expression contorted. In the very next instant, the fallen members of the Human Race rose to their feet. Though wounds still wept blood, none were in mortal peril.

The geniuses who had appeared horrifyingly injured now only looked the part, their faces tinged with a slight pallor.

Even Lin An and the others were unharmed, their bodies radiating potent auras.

Witnessing this impossible scene, World Light froze in disbelief.

He finally understood the reason Su Tu had not been judged, why he hadn't been consumed: Su Tu had preserved the potential future of Immortal Divine before the throne...

But how? How was this even possible?

The Humans positioned on the throne could never have remained placid, nor could they have feigned death to assist Su Tu. Any murderous intent from Su Tu would have been amplified tenfold by the throne, igniting their deepest desires. Even if he had initially held back, the fury of the battle would have driven him to madness.

Yet, here they all were, alive and well.

This twist was utterly unprecedented, akin to a seasoned player, intimately familiar with a game's storyline after countless playthroughs, suddenly encountering an entirely new sequence of events.

Gazing at World Light, Su Tu's lips curved into a subtle smile as he spoke softly, "If my understanding is correct, within this domain, you are powerless to harm Humans, aren't you?"

"Or perhaps, you cannot present yourself here until the very last Human has perished, correct?"

World Light's composure shattered further at these words.

Seeing his reaction, Su Tu knew his audacious gamble had paid off.

His eyes narrowed as he replayed the events in his mind.

Returning to moments prior.

Observing the humans succumbing to their feral instincts one by one, Su Tu acted decisively, his mind racing through possibilities.

Based on previous deductions, Su Tu had already unraveled World Light's entire scheme: the intent was to force Su Tu into a massacre, after which he would claim the throne.

There had to be a hidden agenda; eliminating all the geniuses of his own race would surely trigger an uncontrollable catastrophe.

Every action taken was geared towards this outcome.

Furthermore, World Light had remained conspicuously absent since Su Tu's entry into this space.

This architect of the Human Race's suffering, who had plotted for so long, would undoubtedly have appeared in person to witness the culmination of his plan.

His absence strongly suggested that some force within this very space prevented World Light from appearing before his objectives were met.

Su Tu first considered the throne, but the specific reason eluded him.

If the answer was unattainable, then dwelling on it was futile; he would simply let the narrative play out. Thus, Su Tu took action, simultaneously activating his Divine Skill: Mistake. At the critical moment, he manipulated the perceptions of all the geniuses, tricking their minds into believing they had already died.

Then, employing Life and Death in the Palm, he temporarily severed everyone's causal connections, creating the false impression that their destinies had vanished upon death.
