Su Tu, influenced by divinity but clinging to his humanity, departs after warning Su Zhou. Su Zhou, contemplating his "brother's" care, is then confronted by forty-two wavering figures. Meanwhile, Su Tu returns and confirms his physical body's location with the Old Man of the Mountain. Su Tu learns that the Subspace and its Evil Gods were created by powerful beings to trap an "ominous" entity, a dangerous secret they must protect.

The White Robe Bishop’s face remained hidden by his hood, his voice remarkably soft. Among the three Archbishops, the one in White Robe held the responsibility for all church ceremonies and the various divine rites.

The assembly of the three deities, occurring seven days prior to the divine face event, signifies the ultimate phase of the entire ceremony.

Historically, when the Divine Son manifested, the duration typically spanned three to five days, or sometimes a mere hour or two before the Divine Son would fade away, vanishing without a trace.

However, this particular Divine Son proved different from those of the past, possessing a distinct spirituality.

Consequently, the entire church hierarchy was dedicating substantial attention to this seven-day divine face ritual.

The ceremony unfolded with profound solemnity and magnificence. In addition to the senior adherents already gathered, intermediate believers from a multitude of star systems were en route.

For the Tri-Deity Cult, it was an event of unprecedented scale and grandeur.

Even when the Tri-Deity Cult faced severe persecution from the Federation and endured catastrophic adversity, they had never witnessed such a spectacle.

Whispers and rampant rumors from the outside world suggested that during this seven-day manifestation of the divine face, the Divine Son would perform incredible miracles.

Other speculations posited that the Divine Son would invoke the Power of the Muddy World, summoning forth the Blood Mother and the Bone Father.

It was foretold that when the three deities descended in unison, utter annihilation would ensue!

All these fervent claims propelled the already exhilarated Tri-Deity adherents into an even greater state of frenzy.

This surge of fervor was something Su Tu keenly perceived, as he could sense the escalating, almost frenzied accumulation of the Power of Faith coursing through the church.

Yet, he couldn't fully command this Power of Faith, for alongside him, another unseen force was also vying for control.

That other entity, or entities, were also voraciously consuming this very faith.

Regardless, Su Tu felt no urgency to vie for dominance at this moment; if all went according to his plan, by the end of this day, the concept of the three deities would cease to exist in this world.

Suppressing the swirling thoughts within his mind, Su Tu turned his gaze towards the White Robe Bishop before him and spoke softly.

"I trouble you, Bishop in White Robe."

Upon hearing this, the White Robe Bishop raised his head, his hood slipping back to reveal a countenance marked by kindness and gentleness.

"You have truly come into your own, Divine Son. You no longer even address me as teacher?"

The White Robe Bishop inquired, his gaze fixed on Su Tu, his tone laced with a subtle ambiguity.

At these words, Su Tu’s expression flickered with surprise for a brief moment, and then he offered a faint smile.

"Liu Ma, your perceptiveness remains as keen as ever."

This White Robe Bishop was none other than Liu Yingjiao, Su Tu's former high school teacher from Ancestor Star.

At the time of his rebirth into faith, Su Tu had descended in an infant form and had not yet had the opportunity to alter his appearance.

This was his singular vulnerability; Liu Ma seemed to have recognized his true identity through that very infant visage.

After all, Liu Ma had shared an immense amount of time with him; during his three years of high school, the hours spent under Liu Ma’s tutelage even surpassed those spent with his own parents.

Furthermore, considering Liu Ma’s cultivation realm and her intimate familiarity with him, pinpointing his identity from the infant’s features was hardly a challenge.

"Hmph, you little scamp, you’ve certainly grown up."

"We had an agreement: I would shield you within the Tri-Deity Cult, and you were to only appear here once you felt confident in dismantling everything from within."

"You have indeed achieved something remarkable; I can’t fathom what methods you employed to reincarnate as the Divine Son. This is the absolute core of the Tri-Deity Cult! Do you comprehend the sheer danger involved!!"

For the first time, Liu Ma’s voice carried a palpable edge of irritation, her demeanor shifting to one of grave seriousness.

"Liu Ma, Liu Ma, please calm yourself. You know this is the headquarters; speaking so loudly might attract unwanted attention."

Su Tu gracefully descended from his elevated position, quickly moving to Liu Ma’s side. His face, no longer concealed, reverted to his original, familiar features.

"Attract attention? Who could possibly hear us? You’ve wielded the Power of Faith to envelop this entire grand hall. No external sensors can penetrate this sanctuary, do you truly take me for a fool?"

Liu Ma retorted, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Hearing this, Su Tu responded with a disarming, flattering smile. "Hehe, Liu Ma is indeed Liu Ma, forever as wise as ever. Truly worthy of being my esteemed class teacher!"

Observing Su Tu’s unabashed demeanor, Liu Ma couldn’t help but shake her head in a mixture of exasperation and fondness, reluctantly tapping his forehead with her finger.

"You, I understand that you wouldn’t dare to come here without some form of substantial backing. Your command over the Power of Faith suggests you have already tapped into powers related to the divine.

However, Xiao Tu, within the depths of the Tri-Deity Cult, there remain unseen forces that you are unaware of. I harbor suspicions that the three deities themselves are concealed within the church's hierarchy.

Your sudden appearance has thrown Chen Yuan’s intricate plans into disarray. This entire divine face ceremony is a pretense for a far-reaching conspiracy, and it is plausible that even the deities might move to eliminate you directly."

"This is not a jest, but the situation still allows for a turn of events; any ceremony can only begin with my assent, and the process itself requires..."

Liu Ma's brow creased as she rapidly computed all possibilities, searching for a solution for Su Tu.

But before her thoughts could fully form,

Su Tu cut her off, "Liu Ma, you know me, I never undertake anything without certainty."

"There's no need for stratagems or subterfuge; I simply desire to personally behold the true magnificence of the three deities."

When Su Tu uttered these words, his voice was remarkably even, as if facing the three deities was as mundane as a casual evening stroll.

Liu Ma, upon hearing this, was first taken aback, her lips trembling slightly, as if an unspoken word hovered on the verge of utterance.

Yet, observing Su Tu's current demeanor, she ultimately remained silent, only letting out a soft sigh.

She understood this disciple profoundly; he might present a gentle and placid exterior, but at his core, he possessed a resolve more unyielding than any other; once his mind was set, persuasion was a futile endeavor.

"Very well, I understand I cannot sway you. Since that is so, accompany me then."
