Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women Chapter 873 New Home

The several-hundred-square-meter yard was quite elegant. On one side of the dining room, there were sliding doors leading to the backyard. By the pavilion outside, a portable earthen stove had been set up.
When they'd first prepared for family barbecues, they'd bought several types of grills—everything you could need—though they'd never been used.
Eloise hated seeing usable wooden things go to waste. Now that she was in charge of cooking, she'd bought a simple earthen stove from a rural banquet supplier and set it up in the yard.
The property's bathroom cleaning staff would chop up old bed frames and wood that others had thrown away and bring them over. Quite a pile had accumulated now.
Ruth had even bought her some regular coal briquettes. Though there were some safety concerns, Eloise enjoyed it.
Since she was careful and attentive, everyone agreed that food cooked over a wood fire or simmered in a clay pot tasted better.
Earlier, when they'd first moved into the villa, they'd been excited and even suggested starting a vegetable garden and raising some chickens.
Luis had been unusually firm in rejecting the idea. Living in a villa in the city was about quality of life. If they did all that, how was it any different from living in the countryside?
First, there was the smell—any livestock or poultry would inevitably create odors.
Also, Luis had seen a bit of the world. He'd visited Dominic's and Leon's villas. Old money families were all opposed to such things. A villa yard should be peaceful and clean; they wouldn't even keep fish.
This Number One Villa, which Dominic had dreamed of as his retirement home, had a yard paved mostly with tiles. There wasn't even a fish pond.
Flowers and plants were hard to clean and attracted mosquitoes. From a practical living standpoint, landscaping wasn't that important.
As for raising chickens—that was even more absurd. Free-range chickens were the real deal. Raising them here would cause odors and noise. Anyone who did that would be the one with the problem.
There was no point in repeating the mistakes old money families had already made.
Eloise walked over and said cheerfully, "Several things. You can pick whatever you like to drink this afternoon—something healthy."
The fire crackled beneath the stove as Eloise added another piece of wood. She clearly enjoyed this homely, happy feeling.
On the stove sat a large iron wok—the kind used for steaming dishes at rural banquets. Inside were over a dozen double-boiled clay pots arranged closely together.
There was Korean ginseng and black chicken soup for the ladies, a soothing Tianma pigeon soup, turtle and pork bone soup, and morel mushroom and conch slice soup, as well as abalone and stone olive soup.
When there were more people, she'd use a large clay pot. Other times, she'd use the double-boiling method. Either way, nutrition and health were what mattered most.
Since Lily had a good appetite and the baby needed nourishment, everyone felt at ease with Eloise taking care of the meals.
"Auntie's cooking is unparalleled. I'm really looking forward to this afternoon tea."
Luis didn't hold back his praise.
"You should have the medicinal turtle soup. It's not suitable for women."
Eloise's eyes held a tender affection that she couldn't hide.
After all, Luis, as the head of the household, worked hard—and with all his indulgence, he and his wife were her top priority. Whenever he was home, she made sure to prepare a nourishing soup every day.
She'd been focused on the kindergarten before, but realized she had the credentials but not the practical experience.
Urban kindergartens were completely different from the casual ones in rural areas. She lacked experience and managerial skills, and she felt overwhelmed.
She'd never really loved the work either, so she'd started thinking about stepping back.
Serena was clearly better at it, but she still had some weaknesses in management, communication, and dealing with people.
When Blanche joined, everyone breathed a sigh of relief. Blanche had high EQ, was good with people, had management experience, and was capable. She was ready to step down from the principal role.
She'd take care of the kindergarten's logistics, food hygiene, and managing the kitchen staff—that was well within her abilities.
Her personality suited it. She was passionate about cooking, had learned culinary skills and nutrition management as a nanny, and was both capable and justified in taking on the role.
The position was also less demanding, giving her time to cook at home—which was exactly what she wanted.
After lunch, she went to help at the kindergarten. Lily had plans to get her hair done with Chloe and drove off.
The two little ones went to deliver the soup to their mother-in-law as an act of filial piety. Luis stayed home to rest, chatting with his many women and scrolling through the group chats.
Dinner on Saturday was already arranged. With money no object and only furniture and appliances missing, it was basically move-in ready.
Blanche had already finished setting up her new home. She'd moved her few belongings and their clothes over early, letting the cleaning lady organize everything.
She'd waited until her daughter came home on Saturday to officially move in together.
Since it was a housewarming, she naturally had to invite guests. Her high EQ had already built good relationships with the local circle of beauties and Luis's in-laws.
Though not as many people as last time, she'd invited only close friends. Her home couldn't accommodate a large crowd anyway.
That evening, Luis and his wife Lily arrived at their new home in the heart of the community, carrying housewarming gifts.
As soon as they opened the door, Blanche greeted them warmly, "No need to take off your shoes! Just come in. I forgot to buy enough slippers."
"Sister Blanche, congratulations on your new home! This is a small token of our appreciation. I hope you like it."
Lily was quite friendly toward her.
Because Luis had told her that Blanche was a key figure in his business, handling everything from the bar to the kindergarten—truly indispensable.
She also did choreography for Blossom Media on the side. She was definitely a trusted ally. Luis had also been honest with his wife about sleeping with Blanche.
Lily wasn't angry, but she wasn't particularly interested in Blanche either—at least not as much as she was in Chloe.
That made Luis even more certain that his bisexual wife preferred tall, sexy, mature women—and was probably eyeing her own sister too.
The gift was a pair of violet jade "Wushi" plaques, worth tens of thousands. They were clearly one for each mother and daughter.
"Thank you! You're so thoughtful. Come in!!!"
Blanche accepted them graciously and placed them in the glass cabinet in the living room, alongside the other gifts she'd received.
Luis had already told her that his wife knew about their affair—and that it was within her bounds of tolerance.
Blanche had been so nervous she'd lost sleep for two or three nights. When she learned that Lily also liked women, she was stunned, then immediately said she'd do whatever it took to make amends.
But the prerequisite was that Luis had to keep his relationship with her daughter Avery absolutely secret. After all, more than her own role as a mistress, she cared about her daughter's reputation.
Luis naturally agreed. Some things, even if they were meant to be hidden, shouldn't be taken too far.
