Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women Chapter 587 This Is Your Home!

~6 minute read · 1,476 words

"Moving into a new residence?"

Ruth’s face was etched with astonishment.

"Indeed. A few years back, my father-in-law's village underwent a demolition and relocation project. When they redistributed the residential land, they pulled some strings to consolidate the plots and construct a private estate. It took two full years, but it is finally complete."

The reason Darlan had been so fiscally conservative previously was because he had funneled every spare credit and savings into this hometown project as he prepared for his twilight years.

Back home, his sister-in-law lounged lazily on the sofa, letting out a giggle. "My father-in-law is both a staunch patriarch and highly superstitious. He spent ages meticulously calculating the date before finally committing to it."

His attention to detail was exhaustive, bordering on ritualistic. There was even a gold-embossed invitation card, featuring elegant brush calligraphy, giving the entire occasion an air of extreme formality.

"My father-in-law also reached out to Dad, who then instructed me to come over and pass the news along to you."

Her mother-in-law uttered a brief, "Oh," and hurriedly departed. With his wife, Lily, occupied upstairs in the shower, Luis immediately surged forward to embrace his sister-in-law, pressing a kiss upon her.

"Stop that... aren't you worried your wife will walk in on us!"

Although Nancy initially resisted with a slight struggle, she quickly melted, her eyes fluttering shut in ecstasy. She locked her arms around Luis’s neck, offering her delicate tongue as they became lost in a passionate, illicit entanglement.

Their embrace, steeped in infidelity, was lingering and intense. They only pulled away once their breaths grew ragged. Luis held her close, his hands roaming her body with a lecherous smirk as he asked, "Tell me the truth, what have you and Deewa been up to lately?"

"Pfft, that’s a secret. You’ll figure it out soon enough."

Nancy inquired with a trace of jealousy, "What makes you so curious? Are you tired of her already, and now you’re feeling nostalgic, wanting to bed her again?"

"Heh heh, how could she ever hold a candle to you?"

Seeing her reaction, Luis felt a swell of secret satisfaction.

Since that threesome with the sisters, Chloe had developed quite the appetite for it and had recently been currying favor with his wife, Lily. With Luis acting as the bridge, her rapport with Nancy had improved significantly as well.

Based on the small bits of gossip he had gathered, it seemed as though his sister-in-law Nancy and her long-time rival Deewa had finally made peace.

They appeared to have become genuine confidantes. They were constantly seen in public together, hitting beauty salons, engaging in fitness regimens, and perusing the malls side-by-side.

Such an unexpected shift in their dynamic must have had an underlying cause. Luis remained deeply intrigued by what they were plotting and why their relationship had transformed so suddenly.

His sister-in-law offered a scoff before wandering off to find her younger sibling. She had become much closer to her sister recently, frequently visiting to keep her pregnant sibling company and embracing that typical, protective "big sister" role.

The scheduling for the Taiga family’s housewarming was set for Friday evening. His father-in-law, Arthur, had personally arrived to discuss the arrangements.

His in-law, Darlan, was a man obsessed with appearances—the quintessential, traditional patriarch. Since he had extended the invitations, he was determined to host a grand affair, inviting all of his closest kin and acquaintances.

His wife, Lily, was currently pregnant and thus had to abstain from any strenuous festive activities. Fortunately, she was planning to head to the capital with Yana over the weekend, so he had no concerns about her being neglected.

As for his younger sister-in-law, Leah, she would be missing the event, but at her age, she rarely enjoyed such gatherings anyway. She had planned a visit to Avery’s place, which was easily settled.

On Friday afternoon, Luis took the wheel, transporting his father-in-law and mother-in-law. Guided by the address provided by his sister-in-law, he navigated toward a small coastal town nestled between the capital and Bathek City.

It was not a mainstream tourist hub, yet the scenery was breathtaking, certainly not lacking in charm. In years past, the area had been celebrated for producing men of great intellect.

A village tucked against the mountainside appeared quite prosperous. After a brief phone inquiry, they located a sprawling, luxurious manor at the village heart.

"In-laws, over here!"

Darlan, dressed in his finest attire and carrying himself with a tall, imposing stature, stood at the threshold with a radiant, prideful expression. He gestured for Luis to park in a spot he had specifically reserved within the manor grounds.

The outer plaza was already crowded with vehicles. Darlan quickly pulled his car door open and enthusiastically greeted Arthur, laughing, "In-law, you have finally arrived! Tonight, we aren’t stopping until we are both completely inebriated!"

He then turned to Luis, "And you, Second Brother-in-law, you are staying the night. This is your home as well."

He held a high opinion of Luis. A patriarch always valued unity within the clan, perceiving it as a sign of familial strength and rising prosperity.

Daniel had once been a purposeless layabout supported by his parents. It was Luis who provided the capital to form a partnership, launching their bar business.

While nightclub work might carry a stigma, the management of the establishment was a legitimate venture. That was exactly why he esteemed his second son-in-law so highly and insisted he partake in the festivities.

"Come, follow me, let me give you the grand tour."

The manor spanned eight full acres. Beyond the three acres of residential land divvied up between the family, they had purchased an additional five acres of rocky, sandy soil from the village board.

Historically, this saline-rich, infertile earth was seen as worthless. Because the land was abundant and the population sparse, each family received more space, and the cost was negligible.

The three brothers each possessed a three-story villa of their own making. In the courtyard, professional village chefs were already hard at work preparing the feast. The space was extensive enough to easily accommodate the entire banquet.

"Dad, Mom, Luis, you’ve all made it."

Inside the ground floor of the villa, friends and relatives milled about, laughing and conversing. Daniel, now carrying himself with the confidence of a business owner, busied himself pouring tea and hosting guests, radiating a new entrepreneurial vitality.

"Carry on with your duties, Daniel. I am going to show your parents-in-law the upstairs first!"

The ground level featured a cavernous living space joined with a dining area. The solid Chinese-style wooden furnishings lent a sense of gravity, dignity, and class to the home.

Darlan’s private quarters were situated on the first floor. In rural tradition, this was the appropriate placement for the family elders. Since Darlan was not the eldest of the three brothers, their grandmother didn't reside in this particular wing.

The second floor housed two primary master suites and a cozy reading nook, decorated with a bright, minimalist aesthetic. The third floor formed a half-story with two designated guest rooms and a sprawling terrace meant for laundering and drying.

"You will be staying right here tonight!"

Darlan remarked with great fervor, "We are kin by marriage. You wouldn’t refuse me this small honor, would you? The bedding is all fresh and sanitized!"

Given the earnest nature of his request, Ruth agreed to the stay.

The courtyard had been arranged with meticulous precision. As dusk fell, the landscape lighting created a mesmerizing atmosphere, and by the time the banquet commenced, the area was teeming with noise and vibrant energy.

In rural culture, seating at such events is strictly determined by familial ties or seniority. Furthermore, men and women typically prefer to dine separately. This long-standing tradition largely exists because the women prefer to avoid the pervasive smell of cigarette smoke.

As the night deepened, the courtyard shone with an air of immense luxury.

Delectable plates prepared by the village chefs began to arrive. These were no ordinary dishes; the menu was extravagant, featuring steamed rock lobsters, abalone, coral trout, and an array of delicacies beyond measure.

The tables were stocked with XO cognac and various other fine spirits. It was clear that no expense had been spared in providing a lavish reception.

The elders were gathered at the primary table. Seating was dictated by age and social standing. Luis was directed to take his place at the table occupied by his brother-in-law, Daniel.
