Keke playfully clings to Shi Mei's back, reminiscing about their childhood. They engage in banter about her weight and figure, which leads to a discussion about her "elasticity." Keke then boldly asks Shi Mei if he will marry her, to which he firmly replies "Yes." She then expresses her desire for a beautiful wedding dress, prompting Shi Mei to tease her about losing weight and cutting costs, before relenting and admitting he was joking.

Shi Keke recognized his teasing but felt no anger, her understanding of his personality being too profound. She knew that if she desired anything, he would invariably go to extraordinary lengths to fulfill her wish.

Even before their romantic involvement, when she was merely his sister, his doting went beyond measure, making her current situation far more cherished.

"Right now, I simply wish to be a proud woman, so I choose not to acknowledge you," Shi Keke declared. After uttering these words, she pressed her face against his back, closed her eyes, and sought rest.

Hearing her declaration, Shi Mei's eyes sparkled with amusement. He then temptingly offered, "Fancy some lobster? I could take you out for it tonight."

"I'm aiming to lose weight, hence I'm avoiding high-protein foods," Shi Keke replied without opening her eyes.

"Very well, I shall go alone then," he responded.

"You don't even care for lobster; how could you possibly dine on it by yourself?"

"While I may not enjoy eating it, I am willing to procure it for someone I cherish."

Shi Keke retorted, "The very person you cherish already stated she is on a diet."

Shi Mei offered a soft, amused chuckle, "The person I cherish is not solely you."

This statement finally prompted Shi Keke to open her eyes. She tilted her head, her gaze fixed on his sharp, well-defined profile, and a smile touched her lips. "So, you imply you have other women you hold dear?"

"In a manner of speaking," Shi Mei replied, his expression unwavering.

Shi Keke responded with a thoughtful hum, "Very well. I would then accuse her of meddling in another's relationship."

A playful, somewhat defiant smile graced Shi Mei's lips. "Is such a transgression considered a criminal offense?"

"It wasn't initially, but now it is. Brother, you should not underestimate my resolve, for your sister here possesses at least a hundred methods to make that woman vanish from your sight. One of the most expedient is... elimination."

"Are you prepared to tread so close to the boundaries of the law?"

"I am defending my love with my very life."

"Oh, is that so?"

"Regardless, I am making my stance clear now. As Shi Keke's man, no one should dare to harbor desires or attempt to claim what is mine. Otherwise, I will never forgive her."

"Silly woman."

Shi Mei's laughter resonated, his thin lips curving into an enticing arc that rendered him exceptionally captivating.

The sunlight, washing over his form and face, accentuated his perfection, making him seem like a figure from a painting, almost unreal.

Shi Keke found the label of 'silly' acceptable; she didn't mind his words. After all, it was commonly observed that at least half of women in love experienced a decline in their IQ. While she might not have reached that point, she wasn't far off, her current intellectual capacity feeling close to zero.

"There are two women I hold most dear in my life: one is you, and the other is my mother."

His deep, resonant voice murmured close to her ear. Shi Keke, momentarily dazed, quickly regained her senses and then chuckled, "So, the other woman you referred to is actually my young aunt."

Shi Mei simply responded with a hum, offering no further elaboration.

Shi Keke embraced him tightly, pressing her body close, feeling an unparalleled sense of emotional fulfillment.

Carrying her on his back, Shi Mei proceeded a little further, eventually reaching the adjacent basketball court.

As it was the lunch break, and the weather was particularly pleasant, numerous young men were engaged in a lively basketball game on the court.

The contest for the ball, the quick steals, the decisive throws – the scene was charged with intensity, vividly portraying the passionate spirit of youth.

Shi Mei gently set Shi Keke down, asking her to wait for a brief period. He then strode purposefully onto the court, exchanged a few words with the players, and was handed a basketball.
