The mess on the ground was promptly cleared. After a brief period of murmuring, the surrounding onlookers seemed to lose interest and dispersed.

While the new dishes were being brought out, Shi Keke’s phone began to ring. Noticing it was a client, she found a secluded spot to take the call.

After conversing with the client for approximately ten minutes, she returned to her seat to find her plate already filled with shrimp that had been meticulously peeled.

Keke did not prolong the conversation. She picked up her chopsticks, selected a shrimp, and brought it to his lips, saying, "You try it first."

Shi Mei took a bite, chewed elegantly a couple of times, and swallowed. Only then did Keke retrieve her hand to consume the remaining half of the piece.

Within a single day, the bond between the two had deepened significantly, creating an impression of inseparable companionship.

Keke consumed a substantial amount that evening. When she found herself unable to finish, she passed the challenging, yet honorable, responsibility to Shi Mei, who obligingly finished some of her leftover fare.

As they departed the eatery, the hour had already struck one in the morning. Before leaving, Shi Mei settled the bill for everyone present that night, totaling over 9,000 yuan.

This expenditure of over 9,000 yuan was negligible for him; foregoing a single bottle of aged red wine could recoup this amount multiple times over, allowing him to bring joy to others. Thus, he was more than willing to delight Keke in this manner.
