Riezel appeared and unleashed devastating fire magic, clearing the immediate threat of green flesh. He then teleported away to search for Ais and the Captain, leaving behind two goddesses who immediately began arguing with Loki. Meanwhile, Ais and Lefiya, along with other adventurers, were fleeing through the dungeon as the green flesh pursued them, with Ais preparing to sacrifice herself to let the others escape.

Inside the damaged adamantite passage, three thunderous explosions resounded consecutively. The entire tunnel shuddered violently, and flames erupted, engulfing the space like a ferocious storm.

Vast fireballs impacted the churning green flesh, akin to nuclear bombs detonating within a sea of it. The explosions pulverized the vile current of flesh, sending enormous meat fragments hurtling through the air.

Riezel unleashed another thick bolt of flaming lightning, followed by more, creating a continuous barrage of blazing thunderbolts that streaked like crimson lightning.

With rapid-fire detonations, the flaming thunderbolts ripped through the air. They pulverized the airborne green flesh fragments, annihilated the oncoming mass of green meat, and ultimately caused the very passage to collapse. Chunks of the adamantite ceiling plummeted down, forming a substantial mound that obstructed the path of the green flesh, effectively trapping the entire mass behind the debris.

Such a monumental disruption inevitably halted Ais and the others, who had been urgently moving forward.

"I-It's Mr. Riezel!"

"Mr. Riezel is here!"

"Wonderful!"

Upon seeing Riezel, the familia members erupted in tearful joy.

"Riezel..."

Ais displayed a rare look of happiness, her body, which had been tense from the start, finally eased its strain.

"...Mr. Riezel?"

In a state of near mental collapse, Lefiya strained her eyes open, attempting to focus on the figure of the person she admired through her blurry vision.

Riezel turned around. Upon witnessing his companions, battered and exhausted yet gazing at him with expressions of profound relief, his heart felt a pang.

He felt a surge of unfamiliar emotion, especially noticing Lefiya slumped weakly on Ais's back. Despite her mental exhaustion rendering her immobile, she struggled to remain conscious.

Riezel could only suppress this nascent feeling and initiate healing magic.

A pure white magic circle materialized beneath Riezel's feet, expanding outwards to encompass everyone present.

As the high-tier healing magic was unleashed, luminous particles emanated from the pristine magic circle, drifting into each individual. Instantly, the injuries afflicting Ais and the others began to mend at a visibly rapid pace.

Regrettably, healing magic possessed no effect on mental depletion; it could only mend physical wounds.

"Mr. Riezel..."

Sensing the gentle, magical energy permeating her body, Lefiya, whose physical injuries were completely restored, could no longer hold on. Her eyelids fluttered shut as she succumbed to sleep.

"Lefiya!"

Ais cried out instinctively, her voice laced with concern.

"Lefiya!"

"Lefiya!"

Noticing Lefiya had fainted, the others also reacted. The joy that had graced their faces vanished, replaced by palpable anxiety.

"Do not panic. Lefiya is alright."

With a swift movement, Riezel appeared beside Ais. He reached out, gently stroking Lefiya's delicate face before speaking.

"This is a typical case of Mind Down. Her mental faculties are completely exhausted. Rest assured, she will awaken after some recuperation."

As he spoke, Riezel's gaze shifted towards the others.

"I will escort you out first. Prepare yourselves."

Riezel spread his arms, offering no time for a reply.

He invoked teleportation magic, capable of transporting an entire group simultaneously. He whisked multiple individuals away to a nearby location.

In an instant, all of them vanished.

Only then did the vile torrent of green flesh arrive, belatedly engulfing the pile of rubble blocking the passage. It then forced its way through the limited space, surging into the tunnel and completely submerging it.

Outside the Man-Made Dungeon Knossos, Riezel reappeared with Ais and the others. A dense gathering of figures instantly materialized in the previously empty space.

"W-We are...?"

"Outside?"

"W-We made it out?"

Everyone experienced a momentary blur of vision and swaying sensation, as if momentarily weightless. When the grounding solidity returned beneath their feet, the surrounding scenery had dramatically shifted – from the perilous labyrinth to the sewers beyond.

Although they had not reached the surface, escaping the confines of the labyrinth and finding themselves back in the sewers brought an immediate wave of relief. They scanned their surroundings with expressions of astonishment.

"...We've returned?"

Even Ais stood frozen for several seconds, her mind struggling to process the reality.

"Ais!"

At that precise moment, a voice called out to her.

"Riveria..."

Only then did Ais notice Riveria approaching rapidly, accompanied by members of the support group.

"Thank goodness, you are safe."

Riveria’s gaze shifted from the unharmed Ais to the unconscious Lefiya on her back, her initial relief quickly replaced by a tightening in her chest.

"Mind Down?" As one of Orario’s most potent mages, Riveria instantly understood Lefiya’s critical state. This revelation signaled that Ais and the others must have endured an exceptionally brutal engagement. After all, Lefiya’s magical prowess was second only to Riveria’s, and even Bete referred to her as an elf mage with a mental capacity far beyond that of ordinary spellcasters. For someone of Lefiya’s caliber to succumb to Mind Down, the sheer number of spells she must have cast was staggering. Riveria's concern intensified. Lefiya, being her chosen disciple and successor, held a place in Riveria's heart second only to Ais, who was practically her own daughter.

"Allow them to recover," Riezel advised Riveria with a calm demeanor. "I will go retrieve the captain and the others."

"Understood." Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Riveria offered a concise nod.

"I’ll go with you!" Ais declared, entrusting Lefiya to Riveria before addressing Riezel.

"No, that won't be necessary," Riezel responded, shaking his head. "It will be quicker if I go alone. Please wait here." Without awaiting Ais's response, he employed teleportation magic, vanishing instantly to return to Knossos.

... Ais’s eyes remained fixed on the spot where Riezel had disappeared, her gaze lingering for a prolonged moment.

"Are you alright, Ais?" Riveria inquired cautiously, placing a hand on Ais's shoulder.

"I'm… fine…" Ais replied softly, her eyes downcast. "She… Riezel defeated that red-haired Creature."

Riveria perceived a complex tapestry of emotions within that single statement, intuitively grasping the underlying cause. The Creature that had referred to Ais as its 'daughter' was no more.

"Try not to dwell on it," Riveria offered comfort. "Those Creatures had no connection to your mother. They were drawn to you solely because of the Corrupted Spirit." Neither Revis nor Olivas shared any link with Ais’s mother, with the Corrupted Spirit being the sole entity with a connection to Great Spirit Aria. While she might have had ties to Great Spirit Aria in her past life, she was no longer that spirit. Now, she was merely a maddened monster driven by an insatiable urge to destroy Orario, return to the surface, and consume all in her path.

"Don't hold onto that connection too tightly," Riveria gently advised. "Consider her merely a criminal who attempted to exploit your weakened state. That is how you should see her."

Ais finally lifted her gaze.

"Mm."

Ais nodded, signifying her comprehension.

"I will kill you!"

"If you possess the capability, then come."

Behind them, Loki and Kali's persistent bickering provided a faint easing of the palpable tension.

Fortunately, the mission to locate Finn and the others proceeded with far greater ease than Riezel had initially anticipated. Upon his return to Knossos, Riezel promptly utilized a detection spell to pinpoint the unique signatures of Finn's spear, Gareth's battle axe, and Bete's metal boots. The magic quickly yielded a response, revealing their precise location. However, when Riezel teleported to their position, he discovered their circumstances were considerably more perilous than those of Ais’s group.

Prior to their escape, they had encountered Valletta, and had been subjected to suicidal assaults by remaining Evilus members. A significant portion of their injuries stemmed from cursed weapons, inflicting incurable curses that rendered conventional healing impossible. This forced them to continue fighting while severely wounded, their conditions deteriorating with every passing moment. When Riezel arrived, even the high-ranking members – Finn, Gareth, and Bete among them – were heavily injured. Despite the continuous bleeding from the incurable curses staining their bodies crimson, they were still compelled to battle the encroaching masses of green flesh, exacerbating their dire state.

Several individuals had already succumbed to exhaustion, their forms being ensnared by tendrils extending from the green flesh. Had it not been for Raul and Anakitty desperately severing these tendrils, some might have already been absorbed by the monstrosity and become its sustenance. Such was the desperate struggle, leaving them too depleted even to attempt an escape. Had Riezel not intervened at that critical juncture, a complete annihilation would have been imminent within mere minutes.

Witnessing this harrowing scene, Riezel immediately unsheathed his sword without a second’s hesitation. Flames enveloped his entire being as he slammed his foot down, obliterating the floor beneath him. Transforming into a streak of fire, he surged forward.

A vortex of flames was unleashed by Riezel as he surged forward to shield the group—it spun and raged, instantly engulfing the encroaching green flesh.

A thunderous explosion resounded as the fiery vortex, akin to a celestial blade forged from the sun, relentlessly carved through the verdant mass. It tore the flesh into fragments before immolating everything in a single, decisive sweep, utterly eradicating the horde.

"Riezel!"

"Riezel!"

Finn and Gareth cried out in unison.

"Ri-Riezel!"

"Mr. Riezel!"

Raul and Anakitty exclaimed, their hearts soaring with relief.

"You sure took your sweet time!"

Bete, having just wrenched a comrade free from the grasping tendrils of the green flesh, hurled this taunt upon seeing the flame-wreathed Riezel hurtling toward him. Despite his words, a subtle easing of tension was evident on his face.

Without a backward glance, Riezel wielded Fool, its blade ignited, and propelled two perfectly circular fire-blades towards the corridor's end. More green flesh was surging forth, only to be met by a concussive roar as they detonated anew.

"Is everyone alright?"

Only after ensuring the path was clear of the grotesque flesh did Riezel turn, hastening towards Finn.

"As you can see, far from it."

Finn managed a grim smile, his countenance tinged with exhaustion.

"Riezel, can you employ the Dea Saint's magic?"

Gareth, splattered with blood, gritted his teeth against the pain, posing the question in a hushed tone.

While his face wasn't as ashen as Finn's, Gareth bore the most grievous wounds. It was clear this dwarven warrior had engaged in a brutal fight, acting as a bulwark for many and intercepting numerous potentially fatal blows. Had it not been for a dwarf's legendary resilience, such severe injuries would have surely proved fatal.

'If my memory serves, that particular magic can dispel curses, correct?'

Riezel readily grasped the implication of Gareth's query.

Prioritizing efficiency, Riezel commenced chanting the highest tier of healing magic with swift precision.

A radiant circle of pure white magic materialized once more, and its healing luminescence enveloped each of them. Beneath its benevolent glow, the insidious curses that had plagued Finn and his companions transmuted into wisps of black smoke before vanishing from their wounds.

This miraculous spell possessed the capability not only to eradicate curses but also to restore vitality and neutralize toxins. Even in cases of dismemberment, provided the severed limb was present and positioned against the wound, the magic’s light would seamlessly reattach it.

Its only limitation was its inability to mend the mind; otherwise, the enchantment was virtually omnipotent and remarkably adaptable. Consequently, even after obtaining Tier Magic spells boasting even greater restorative effects—including the power to regenerate lost limbs—Riezel continued to utilize this particular spell frequently.

Thanks to this timely intervention, pallor receded from Finn and the others’ faces, their wounds healed, and even the blood they had lost was replenished.

In mere moments, all had been restored to near-perfect condition.

A wave of elation washed over the group.

"Incredible magic!"

"So this is the renowned Dea Saint magic?"

"Finally, that wretched curse is gone!"

The exclamations tumbled out, each voice laced with a palpable loathing for the lingering curse.

"It’s fortunate you mastered Airmid’s magic."

Finn breathed a sigh of profound relief.

"Everyone, gather close. I will escort you out."

Observing that all injuries were mended and curses banished, Riezel promptly motioned for them to convene around him.

In the ensuing moment, under the influence of Riezel’s arcane power, they all vanished, leaving the nightmarish labyrinth far behind.
