Wang Ba arrived at Zhang’s Ruins, confirming rumors of it being an Immortal’s Remains with Cheng Lianzi. After failing to summon its spirit with an ancient horn, he thanked the senior for past aid and hurled the True Fire Staff to provoke a response. The ruins reacted with furrowed brows, glowing eyes, parting lips spewing wind, and an angry roar, shocking Cheng Lianzi as a living entity.

Upon witnessing this sight, Wang Ba's face showed no change.

He raised his hand, drawing the True Fire Staff back to himself, where it settled into his Primordial Spirit.

Next, he bowed slightly toward Zhang’s Ruins, speaking with respect and poise:

“Junior Taiyi greets the elder. I apologize for my prior intrusion; it was solely to protect your safety, driven by necessity. Please forgive me.”

Yet, Zhang’s Ruins responded with violent shaking!

Myriad shards erupted from its surface, flying outward in every direction.

Their might was utterly shocking.

Cheng Lianzi rushed to shield Wang Ba, blocking every shard, but failed to halt the dreadful sonic assault!

Amid the surging roar crashing like a tsunami, Wang Ba stayed utterly serene.

At that instant, cultivators inside Zhang’s Ruins panicked at the drastic shift, bursting out from its depths in terror.

They sought to flee, only to sense an overpowering force from Zhang’s Ruins' core pulling them inescapably back inside!

Not only them—even Cheng Lianzi beyond Zhang’s Ruins suddenly felt an inexplicable pull in his heart toward it.

Terrified, he quickly realized the anomaly, thoughts surging as he grasped:

“The core of Zhang’s Ruins! It controls our True Spirits!”

In that instant, Cheng Lianzi's scalp crawled with dread!

Instinctively turning to Wang Ba, he noted Wang Ba's solemn look but lack of total domination like others, clinging to him desperately and crying out:

“Ruins Master, save me!”

Witnessing this, Wang Ba's face darkened faintly, and he flicked his finger.

The space encircling Cheng Lianzi sealed instantly.

Despite his desperate struggles toward Zhang’s Ruins, Cheng Lianzi remained pinned by Wang Ba's barrier.

Wang Ba then gazed at Zhang’s Ruins below, detecting its seething rage, mind spinning before he abruptly inquired:

“Does the elder know Immortal Monarch Luhe and Tibetan Bodhisattva?”

His words barely landed when Zhang’s Ruins halted abruptly.

The horde of soaring fragments froze midair, then drifted silently back to Zhang’s Ruins' surface after a tense pause.

Then, a will rose from the profound 'deep sea' inside Zhang’s Ruins.

Concurrently, across the immense human-shaped continent, a translucent shadow perceptible solely to Wang Ba twisted fiercely, reshaping into a massive humanoid silhouette before him.

The silhouette's features were vague, its gender unknown, wrapped in secrecy, rising imposingly high.

Faintly, Wang Ba sensed eyes upon him, brimming with doubt, caution, irritation, and suspicion.

Wang Ba's heart fluttered mildly, but his face stayed impassive, permitting the scrutiny in silence.

At last, as if unable to restrain itself, the form from Zhang’s Ruins declared:

“Immortal Monarch Luhe and Tibetan Bodhisattva are both Great Powers of the Second Realm Sea, but what do they have to do with me?”

The voice rang clear and natural, like any ordinary person's.

Still, an undercurrent of clear displeasure laced the tone.

Wang Ba held steady, undisturbed by the edge, replying evenly:

“Immortal Monarch Luhe and Tibetan are the sole True Immortal-level existences in this Realm Sea. Impressive as they are, surely you rank far below them, right?”

Unable to glimpse the ruins presence's face, Wang Ba felt its stare sharpen with heightened wariness:

“How do you know?”

“Did Immortal Monarch Luhe and Tibetan tell you? No… no, if they had spoken to you directly, given their power, why bother with a being like me?”

The gaze upon Wang Ba flared with greater fury:

“Did you go to all this trouble summoning me just to mock me like this?”

From the ruins entity's retort, Wang Ba's thoughts refined further, bolstering his hunch.

Evasive of its query, he posed instead:

“Do you know about Duanhai Cliff?”

“No, I don’t.”

To Wang Ba's astonishment, the Zhang’s Ruins presence answered 'Duanhai Cliff' on reflex.

Wang Ba's pulse quickened, though he smiled:

“Since you know Immortal Monarch Luhe and Tibetan, how could you be ignorant of Duanhai Cliff?”

“Duanhai Cliff was established by Tibetan Bodhisattva; you're claiming no knowledge?”

The figure steadied, scoffing icily:

“Don’t try to extract information from me.”

“Since you know their status, you should know that I dare not interfere with any arrangement they’ve made.”

“Don’t think you can pry any secrets or anything else from me; I just happened to come here by chance. I know nothing else, absolutely nothing.”

Upon hearing this, Wang Ba's eyebrows lifted slightly.

Its uncooperative attitude left him unfazed; instead, he chuckled:

“Does the elder not care for your own safety?”

The gigantic figure sneered:

“If you’re willing to tell me, I’ll listen. If not, then so be it.”

“Don’t you dare ask me to do anything…”
