Living In Another World With A Farm Chapter 8503: Level up _1

After the talisman took shape, Zhao Hai noticed his Dharma form glowing brighter. Next, the Buddha within his Dharma form abruptly devoured the essence.”Lin. Bing. Dou. Zhe. Jie. Formation. Row. Forward. Xing!” With the nine-word mantra recited, nine hand seals materialized in an instant. Simultaneously, nine massive golden characters emerged before the enormous Buddha. Ultimately, the characters fused with the seals, transforming into nine radiant golden orbs. Every orb bore a character, followed by its corresponding seal. Then, the orbs' glow dimmed as they returned to orbit around the colossal Buddha's form, leaving the Buddha's look unaltered. It continued seated upon a lotus, rooted in the vast heaven and earth talisman. Yet, the Grand Buddha clutched a miniature heaven and earth talisman. A closer inspection revealed this smaller one as a condensed form of the larger talisman beneath.
As the nine orbs' light subsided, Zhao Hai sensed his mind sharpening. Simultaneously, boundless energy surged into him. Closing his eyes, Zhao Hai attuned to this influx. He quickly discerned the energy being drawn into the heaven and earth talisman held by the Buddha. From there, it flowed from the small talisman into the grand one, then to the nine orbs. The orbs, in turn, channeled it back into his body, forming a continuous loop.
In that instant, Zhao Hai grasped he could wield this energy straight in combat. Having achieved the preliminary mastery of the Golden Lotus Nine Changes Sutra, he now commanded Dharma power through mere incantation. The nine-word mantra encapsulated every cultivation technique he had learned, along with his insights into them. His Dharma power had densified over a hundredfold compared to earlier. Presently, his magical energy had liquefied. Naturally, this was merely representational; in truth, his magical energy was far more compact than previously.
Nevertheless, Zhao Hai remained immersed. He understood his transcendence energy required further consolidation. More energy had to be drawn in to solidify it, and his personal strength needed bolstering. Suddenly, a tremendously potent death energy infiltrated his form. Yet, it inflicted no damage due to the faint vitality it carried. Eventually, this death energy merged fully with him. Zhao Hai even experienced a sting in his left index finger, as though something fused into it. Afterward, an immense force emanated from that finger, racing through his whole being instantly. His skeletal structure and protective armor underwent refinement once more. But shortly, the giant bloodline within his veins activated. This giant bloodline started devouring the incoming power. Zhao Hai sensed the giant bloodline in him awakening fully.
The giant bloodline's potency was overwhelming. Zhao Hai felt his body igniting like a furnace. With each breath, his form seemed to swell enormously. In the end, he perceived himself as a towering giant.
At this juncture, his Dharma power underwent another shift. Innumerable crimson lights poured into the Buddha's frame. The Buddha's appearance altered accordingly. Originally clad in a kasaya with a serene visage, it exuded tranquility and warmth. Now, transformations overtook it. Though still draped in the kasaya, its physique gradually revealed robust, unyielding muscles. These muscles hardened progressively, and its stature expanded. Before long, the Grand Buddha had evolved into a colossal figure capable of upholding heavens and earth.
Astonishingly, as the Buddha enlarged, the lotus beneath it, the talismans supporting the lotus, the talisman in its grasp, and the nine truth-word orbs encircling it all scaled up proportionally. Zhao Hai's Dharma form appeared to expand without limit. After what felt like an eternity, the expansion halted. Then, the Buddha gradually diminished, reverting to its prior dimensions. Its musculature softened back to normal. All aspects restored to their initial state, as if no alteration had occurred.
Yet, Zhao Hai was acutely aware that profound differences now existed. He could now assume giant form whenever desired. In that state, his physique would gain immense durability, and his might would seem limitless. The power in giant form rivaled that of invoking the nine-word mantra. Moreover, he could chant the mantra while transformed, amplifying his prowess to its peak.
Zhao Hai stayed motionless, seated in stillness, ceaselessly drawing in external energies. Concurrently, he refined the death energy seeping into him. This death energy was gradually assimilated by the heaven and earth talisman in the Buddha's hold. It then permeated the grand talisman, flowed to the nine orbs, and converted into usable energy that steadily filled Zhao Hai's body. The replenished Dharma power within him grew extraordinarily dense. One must recognize that this power had endured multiple refinements from his Dharma techniques, rendering it exceptionally robust and effective.
After an indeterminate period, the death energy had thoroughly integrated with his being. Zhao Hai's reserves stood fully restored. He exhaled deeply and gradually opened his eyes. Upon doing so, he found Laura and the others gazing at him anxiously.
Laura and her companions had grown deeply concerned for Zhao Hai lately. The destruction of the Bloody Massacre Sect delivered a severe shock to him, particularly witnessing him gaze at the energy whirlpool where Bloody Massacre Island once stood, tears streaming down. It had truly alarmed them.
For years, Laura and the others had journeyed with Zhao Hai across countless worlds. Never had the organization under Zhao Hai endured such a devastating loss. It had been ages since so many of his kin perished. Ages since Zhao Hai wept those unforgettable tears. But now, all this transpired here. How could Laura and the others remain calm?
Laura and the others were aware Zhao Hai aimed to ascend to Island Lord rank. They dreaded any mishap befalling him. Such an outcome would bring catastrophic repercussions. Thus, their worry mounted intensely. From the moment Zhao Hai began his breakthrough to Island Lord, they had vigilantly watched over him. Thankfully, he now opened his eyes unscathed.
Warmth filled Zhao Hai at the sight of Laura and the others. He rose with a grin, embracing them before assuring, “I’ve worried you all. Rest easy, I’m perfectly fine. With so much chaos outside, I can’t linger here with you. I’ll return soon to make up for it.”
Laura and the others nodded in unison. Laura beamed and replied, “We’re relieved you’re okay. We feared the worst for you. We understand the turmoil out there, with countless experts in this realm and oversight from the upper realms. Frequent visits might expose you to those upper realm watchers. Being near you constantly brings us joy enough. So, how does your breakthrough differ from others’?”
Zhao Hai chuckled. “In what way different? Have you overlooked our location? This is our space. Why would heavenly tribulation strike here? Once I exit, I’ll likely face it then. Anyway, I’m heading out. You all return too. Oh, and craft a vessel for me incorporating all spiritual and mechanical arts. It needs an expansive internal space for plant cultivation, larger in scope. Design it freely.”
At Zhao Hai’s request, Laura and the others responded with eager affirmation. They promptly departed. Zhao Hai watched their retreating figures with a pang of guilt. He recognized he had shortchanged them. He couldn’t yet bring them to the Blood Sea Realm. This very concern drove him to relentlessly enhance his abilities. He refused to grow complacent. He yearned for the day he could escort Laura and the others freely across realms, traversing world after world unthreatened by peril.
This reflection made Zhao Hai ball his fists tightly. He was convinced that eventually, he’d claim supremacy across the cosmos. Then, he could wander with Laura and the others unbound. None could hinder or endanger them.
Zhao Hai sighed lengthily. He shifted his form, exiting the spatial domain directly to the Blood Lotus. Entering it, Zhao Hai was taken aback. The Blood Lotus’s internal space had vastly expanded anew, now over tenfold its previous size. It rivaled the grandest island of the Blood Slaughter Sect. Changes abounded: no longer level terrain, it featured mountains, lakes, forests, and dormant volcanoes harboring Earth Fire. Snow-capped peaks dotted the landscape. This domain had blossomed into a miniature world.
Zhao Hai realized the Blood Lotus had leveled up too. During its upgrade, it absorbed spatial essence, sparking these developments. This benefited him greatly. The enhanced Blood Lotus promised greater potency. Still, he intended no one else’s entry. Otherwise, why request a new ship from Laura and the others? The Blood Lotus served as his Natal Dharma Treasure, virtually an extension of himself. He preferred secrecy regarding its interior and limited access. This sanctuary was his alone—or rather, shared solely with Laura and her group.
