Despite being heavily outnumbered, Yi Xuanming refuses to surrender and launches a desperate assault against Zhao Hai's forces. He attempts to use powerful toxic mists to neutralize a massive bronze giant, only to find the construct is specifically designed to absorb and store poison. When his initial cultivation techniques fail to damage the agile automaton, Yi Xuanming releases a swarm of gold-consuming ants, hoping the metal-devouring insects can dismantle the giant from the outside in. Meanwhile, the Blood Slaughter Sect continues its fierce offensive under the protection of a mysterious lotus-shaped red cloud.

A sequence of soft, cracking noises reached the bronze man’s ears. Even though he was not a living being, the various magical arrays integrated into his form functioned like human organs. It could be said that he possessed every sensation a human did, with the sole exception of feeling pain.

Consequently, the bronze man detected the sound instantly. Looking up, he realized that the ants he had previously disregarded were gnawing ferociously at his body. This sight left the bronze man stunned, and his expression shifted. He hadn't anticipated that these insects could actually chew through his exterior. After being refined by Laura and the others, his physical form had become incredibly durable; that these ants could bite into it was truly astonishing.

The bronze man reacted without delay. With a cold snort, a layer of blue mist manifested across his skin. This blue vapor was the very poison Yi Xuanming had utilized earlier. Having absorbed it, the bronze man now turned it against its source. It was a maneuver Yi Xuanming likely never expected the bronze man to perform.

The moment the blue mist appeared, the Gold-Consuming Ants began to perish in large numbers. Though they possessed an inherent resistance to toxins, the poison Yi Xuanming used was a potent concoction of various lethal substances he had personally refined. This mixture was exceptionally powerful. While the Gold-Consuming Ants could normally digest some poisons, this concentration was overwhelming. As a result, many were poisoned to death during the clash, a development that shocked Yi Xuanming.

Yi Xuanming’s face paled at the sight. He immediately signaled the Gold-Consuming Ants to return, but very few remained. Heartache filled his expression; it had been no small feat to acquire and nurture these ants. He never imagined that more than half of his swarm would be lost here.

Observing Yi Xuanming’s distress, the bronze man understood the impact of his actions. He opened his mouth and let out a booming laugh that echoed into the distance. Yi Xuanming looked up at him, surprised that the construct possessed such emotional depth. He turned his gaze toward Zhao Hai, wondering if he was reacting similarly, but he was met with disappointment. Zhao Hai’s eyes remained shut as he stood atop the blood lotus, his hands fixed in a seal, completely motionless.

The bronze statue glared at Yi Xuanming and spoke in a deep, resonant voice, "You believe you are worthy of fighting the Young Master? Kid, your life ends today." Having spoken, he swung his long saber, slashing toward Yi Xuanming. The blade was thick with killing intent. Although it lacked a specific saber intent, the technique was clearly the Eight Forms of Bloody Battle from the Blood Massacre Sect.

Though startled that the bronze statue could speak, Yi Xuanming did not simply wait for the end. He dodged to the side with a confused look while forming a hand seal, summoning a curved blade to defend himself. However, as soon as his weapon appeared, a shadow loomed over him. He looked up to see that the long saber had transformed into a massive net, descending upon him.

Yi Xuanming’s expression turned to one of alarm. The net was too expansive to evade. With a shout, he gripped his scimitar, merged his essence with the weapon, and launched himself at the net. He intended to slice a path through it and flee.

A loud "Clang!" echoed as a large hole was ripped into the mesh. Yi Xuanming burst through with his saber, but the moment he cleared it, darkness fell over him again. He looked up just in time to see a massive copper fist hurtling toward him.

Clang! The impact sent Yi Xuanming’s blade flying. Simultaneously, his arm snapped with a sickening creak. He screamed in agony as he tumbled downward. He didn't fall into the Sea of Blood, however, because the large net was waiting below. It turned out he hadn't actually cut the net itself, but a part of the bronze statue’s form; the punch had been the true finishing blow.

With Yi Xuanming’s arm broken, the net easily ensnared him again, wrapping him tightly like a rice dumpling. The assault didn't stop there. A copper wire tightened around Yi Xuanming’s throat, twisting until his neck snapped.

The bronze statue did not have a habit of taking prisoners or wasting time with sarcasm. If an enemy could be killed, it ensured they stayed dead. Since Zhao Hai hadn't requested any captives, the construct saw no reason to spare him. After killing Yi Xuanming, the bronze man pulled back his hand, and the body vanished into the net. He didn't discard the corpse, knowing such remains were useful to Zhao Hai and should be preserved.

With Yi Xuanming dead, the bronze statue manifested a saber and charged toward the 13 Family Alliance army. These soldiers were already terrified by the Bloodsucker Team, and seeing the bronze statue join the fray broke their spirits completely. Without Yi Xuanming, they were like a dragon without a head. Unable to hold their ground any longer, they turned and fled.

Zhao Hai did not let the opportunity slip by. He immediately led his group in pursuit. He kept his forces in organized groups rather than letting them scatter. As the enemies fled, they dispersed in different directions, hoping to reach areas with calmer spiritual Qi where they could use portable teleportation arrays to escape.

What they didn't realize was that countless Aliens were lying in wait within the Sea of Blood. Zhao Hai’s group wasn't trying to kill everyone personally; they were intentionally scattering the enemy so the Aliens could finish the job.

Faced with nearly 200,000 Cultivators, Zhao Hai had no intention of being merciful. Returning 50,000 of them would be more than enough; the rest were to be eliminated. His goal was to wipe out the remaining strength of the rival Sects. Although many were currently attacking, inflicting heavy losses would force some to retreat, finally resolving the crisis facing the Blood Massacre Sect.

Zhao Hai gave no thought to whether this slaughter would offend the other Sects. There was no point in worrying about it. The Blood Massacre Sect was already their enemy. Since their disciples were essentially assassins, they were bound to have enemies everywhere.

Once the killing was done, Zhao Hai gathered the Bloodsucker Team and returned to Serum Island. Seeing the adrenaline-fueled expressions of his team, he smiled and shouted, "Did you enjoy yourselves today? Do you want to keep fighting?"

The crowd responded with an enthusiastic roar, "We do!" Their spirits were high. Thanks to Zhao Hai’s Cultivation technique, they felt no fatigue; instead, they were eager for more. Since Zhao Hai was offering another battle, they had no reason to refuse.

Zhao Hai laughed. "Excellent. We’ve scattered the main force, and they likely haven't had time to report back to Blood Hawk Island. We will use the teleportation array here to strike Blood Hawk Island directly from within. They won't be able to withstand an internal assault. This time, we can use our puppets, so fight without restraint!"

The team cheered and assembled quickly. Zhao Hai looked them over, then gestured for the bronze statue to approach. He gave a nod, and the construct immediately shifted its form into a massive Bronze Palace. Zhao Hai commanded, "Everyone, get inside the Copper Palace. We move out now." Without hesitation, the team entered. Zhao Hai stowed the palace away and headed for the island's teleportation array.

Because the fighting had occurred mostly offshore, the island remained intact. Even the defensive arrays, though breached by the 13 Family Alliance, hadn't been destroyed. This meant all facilities, including the teleportation array, were functional.

Zhao Hai stepped onto the array and powered it up. He had already confirmed that the receiving array on Blood Hawk Island was active. While he wasn't sure why the enemy was so negligent as to leave a teleportation link open during a war, he wasn't going to ignore the advantage. This was exactly why he planned the direct assault.

Before departing, however, Zhao Hai deployed a team from the Undead Clan to hold the island. He wanted to ensure that if the 13 Family Alliance returned while he was at Blood Hawk Island, they wouldn't lose their foothold. Having captured the island, Zhao Hai intended to keep it.

For Zhao Hai, the Undead were his most reliable guards. After his departure, the skeletons would seal the teleportation array. Once Blood Hawk Island was secured, he would signal them to reopen the link. This ensured the island remained safe from recapture.

Zhao Hai was confident that after this blow, the enemy’s power would be severely diminished, forcing them to remain quiet for a while. This window would allow him to reclaim more islands. He wasn't worried about retaliation; even if they sent an Island Lord after him, the Sect Master and Great Elder would intervene. At the Western Defense line, the involvement of Island Lord level experts was a forbidden boundary that no one dared cross. This was the core of the strategy Zhao Hai and his superiors had established.
