Living In Another World With A Farm Chapter 8341: Set a plan (1)

The Sect Master fixed his gaze on Zhao Hai, speaking in a low, measured tone. "Dismantling the Alliance of the seven sects is no simple task. They have unified specifically to oppose us, and they won't easily fall into our traps or do as we desire."
"To shatter their coalition, our primary move must be to clarify our position," Zhao Hai replied solemnly. "We must project an image of absolute defiance. Historically, our Blood Sect has never bowed to outsiders, and we must maintain that legacy now. The first step involves a formal response. Sect Master, you should dispatch a letter so unyielding that it leaves no room for doubt regarding our stance."
Watching Zhao Hai with growing intrigue, the Sect Master asked, "Oh? I am curious to hear how this 'unyielding' reply should be phrased. Do you truly believe a mere letter will force them to reconsider?" The Sect Master’s fascination with Zhao Hai was deepening; he recognized the young man’s sharp intellect. To be able to analyze such a complex situation and present a coherent strategy in so little time required a rare brilliance.
A faint smile played on Zhao Hai’s lips. "If I were the one writing it, the message would be blunt. It only requires six words: 'Won’t go. If you have something to say, say it!' Those words are more than enough." Zhao Hai did not hold back, voicing his thoughts with total confidence. His bluntness momentarily stunned the Sect Master and the Elders, but their shock soon turned into boisterous laughter.
"Hahaha! Well said, brat! You truly speak my language," the Sect Master roared with laughter. "Excellent. I will send exactly that. I can already imagine the looks on those old fogies' faces when they read it. However, won't this simply provoke them rather than break their Alliance?"
Zhao Hai nodded in agreement. "That is true. Provocation alone won't dissolve their bond. However, we have other cards to play. While those seven major sects seek to feast on our Blood Slaughter Sect, they are far from a united front. Each has its own agenda and a desire for the lion's share of the spoils without suffering heavy casualties. Once the reply is sent, we observe. If they begin mobilizing, we don't spread our forces thin. Instead, we concentrate our entire might in one direction—straight at the Yin-Yang Sect. It would be best if the First Elder appeared on that front, brandishing his Killing God Saber."
Zhao Hai continued, his voice cold. "We will send a clear message to the others: if you attack us, we won't waste time defending. Instead, we will pour everything into annihilating the Yin-Yang Sect. We will ignore the rest. Even if our Blood Slaughter Sect falls, we will ensure the Yin-Yang Sect is buried with us. Those people are notorious for bullying the weak and fearing the strong; they are treacherous. By making it clear we are Prepared for a death match, we force them to hesitate. If they move their armies, we strike. We could even target the Sick Man Sect next. We will drag them down into the abyss with us. I want to see if their Alliance holds when the price of participation is total extinction!"
The Grandmaster and the surrounding Elders were silenced by the sheer ruthlessness of the plan. Then, their eyes began to glow with realization. The Blood Slaughter Sect had never lacked the will to fight to the death, but the other sects did not share that suicidal fervor. To the rest of the world, the cultivators of the Blood Slaughter Sect were lunatics. If these 'madmen' made it clear they were picking one specific target for total annihilation, the Alliance would fracture instantly. No one would want to be the one the Blood Slaughter Sect chose to drag into the grave.
Zhao Hai watched their reactions before adding, "At that point, I believe the Alliance will blink. They won't risk a fight to the death, but they will still apply pressure through the thirteen families to save face. This opportunity to strike at a weakened Blood Slaughter Sect is too precious for them to abandon entirely. During this phase, we should make tactical concessions to give them a sense of hope, preventing them from being driven into a corner where they might actually turn desperate."
"Explain these concessions," the Sect Master urged. "How do we pacify them without appearing weak?" He was now fully convinced of the feasibility of Zhao Hai's strategy. Every move Zhao Hai proposed was calculated to exploit the psychological weaknesses of their enemies. The Grandmaster realized that even he might have struggled to come up with such a refined plan.
Zhao Hai answered firmly, "Allow the Alliance of thirteen families to proceed with their assault. Our Sect’s top-tier experts will agree not to intervene, provided certain rules are established. The conflict must be restricted to disciples below the Dharma Refinement realm. No expert at the Island Lord level or above can participate. We turn the Western Defense Line into a controlled killing field—a battlefield exclusively for low-level disciples."
The Grandmaster and the Elders were taken aback. They were well aware that the Sect had already suffered massive losses among its junior disciples during the recent internal turmoil. To suggest turning the Western front into another meat grinder for the youth seemed counterintuitive. They wondered if Zhao Hai was unaware of the Sect's current fragile state.
"I am aware of the heavy casualties our junior disciples sustained during the internal strife," Zhao Hai said, sensing their doubt. "However, that conflict also served as a Trial by fire. Those who survived have seen their strength and resolve increase exponentially. This growth is vital for our future."
The leaders fell into a thoughtful silence. Occupying such high positions, they rarely focused on the minutiae of the lower ranks, seeing only the numbers of the fallen. They hadn't considered the qualitative leap in strength among the survivors.
Ha Jing turned to Lei Gang, who had remained quiet. "Lei Gang, is this accurate? Have the surviving junior disciples truly improved that much?" As an Island Lord with direct oversight of his subordinates, Lei Gang was the best person to answer.
Lei Gang nodded. "It is as he says, Master. Their strength has indeed surged. However, our numbers have dwindled. If the Western Defense Line becomes a permanent war zone, I fear we may lose our entire foundation of disciples." Lei Gang understood the logic, but as a leader, he worried about the Sect's long-term sustainability. Without a steady stream of low-level disciples, the Sect would eventually wither away.
The Sect Master turned back to Zhao Hai. "You heard him. If the casualties are too high, the Sect's future is at stake. This plan might be too costly."
Zhao Hai offered a confident smile. "Sect Master, I have two solutions for that. First, we utilize our arrays. The defensive formations on the islands along the Western line will serve as fortified bases, allowing our disciples to fight with a massive advantage and reducing deaths. Second, I have made significant progress in metal puppet craftsmanship. I can mass-produce these automatons in a very short window. By deploying a legion of puppets to fight the thirteen families, we shield our disciples from the brunt of the casualties. Furthermore, these puppets will serve as a deterrent to the seven sects. If they see us deploying such a force, they will realize that their own low-level disciples would be slaughtered if they ever decided to escalate."
The Elders were stunned, their eyes wide with shock. The Sect Master leaned forward, his voice intense. "You claim you can mass-produce metal puppets so quickly? How? Is this truly possible?" He knew that if such technology existed, the Blood Slaughter Sect’s dominance would be unshakable.
"It is entirely possible," Zhao Hai stated firmly. "I have already conducted successful tests. The only requirement is a steady supply of Dark Souls. With enough souls, the production is limitless."
The Sect Master stood up abruptly. "I must see this for myself. A technology that allows for the mass-production of puppets... I cannot simply take your word for it."
Zhao Hai was surprised by the Sect Master's urgency but quickly recovered. "The facility is located on my island. If the Sect Master wishes to inspect it, we must travel there." Zhao Hai had already established a functional assembly line on Blood Gale Island for just such an occasion.
"Then we go now," the Sect Master commanded. The other Elders rose in unison, Lei Gang among them. Zhao Hai bowed in compliance. The Grandmaster led the group to a large teleportation array at the rear of the hall. Zhao Hai stepped forward to input the specific coordinates of his island. Once the settings were locked, the group stepped onto the platform, vanishing in a brilliant flash of white light.
