Yun Sheng successfully completed the Demon God Transformation, restoring her Six Magic Souls and unexpectedly strengthening her Light Magic Soul. She then spent three days mastering two Sky Fox Inheritances, Fox Shadow Traceless and Yama Fox Claw, astonishing those around her. Meanwhile, Liu Xueyu, still recovering from her injuries, pleaded with Elder Liu for revenge.

"Liu Xueyu has been cultivating for over a year and ranks among the top three fastest learners in the Hua Family. Grandpa, why do you inquire about this? Do you truly believe that outcast could learn the Yama Fox Claw?" A hint of pride colored Liu Xueyu’s expression.

There was a valid reason Elder Liu held her in high regard: her rapid progress in mastering the Yama Fox Claw. Furthermore, Liu Xueyu possessed another Heavenly Fox Heritage, positioning her as one of the youngest individuals in the Sky Fox Tribe to boast two such inheritances.

Prior to Elder Liu receiving Qin Yue’s letter, Liu Xueyu had never entertained the notion that the Sky Fox outcast could acquire that particular heritage.

The cultivation of the Yama Fox Claw demanded not only astute comprehension but also the arduous, years-long process of frequently immersing one’s hands in vast quantities of Beast Blood and potent elixirs, a prerequisite for even minor achievements.

Consequently, in Liu Xueyu’s estimation, even if the outcast managed to learn it, a decade would barely suffice.

And that outcast, she was certain, would never survive the Heavenly Fox Saintess Selection.

Unlike Hua Yanluo, that fool; her present confidence stemmed from the certainty that revealing the Yama Fox Claw meant the outcast would be permanently unable to master it.

The Yama Fox Claw stood leagues above any common Heavenly Fox Heritage. According to the ancient records of the Hua Family, once cultivated to its ultimate stage, it granted the ability to rend the very sky with one’s bare hands and pierce the heart of a Martial God expert with a single strike.

Admittedly, in the entire history of the Hua Family, only the founding ancestor who originated the Heavenly Fox Heritage had attained such unparalleled heights.

Even Elder Liu’s current mastery of the Yama Fox Claw had not yet reached that pinnacle.

"The Sky Fox outcast you mention, she mastered the Yama Fox Claw within three days. To be precise, she achieved mastery of both the Yama Fox Claw and Fox Shadow Traceless in merely three days," Elder Liu’s hand pulsed with barely contained fighting spirit, and the letter in his grasp disintegrated into dust.

"Impossible!" Liu Xueyu’s voice was laced with disbelief. How could that outcast possibly...

"There exist only two plausible explanations: either she genuinely mastered the two Heavenly Fox Heritages, or she is deliberately deceiving us. If it’s the latter, resolving this issue presents no great difficulty. However, if her claim holds truth—and word spreads of someone conquering two Heavenly Fox Heritages in three days—then any thoughts of retribution you harbor will be rendered utterly futile," Elder Liu harbored no illusions; the Sky Fox Tribe had not witnessed such prodigious talent in countless generations.

Putting aside the matter of the Holy Daughter destined for political marriage, the next Eight Desolate Beast Tribe competition loomed just a few months away.

For the past five centuries, the Sky Fox Tribe had consistently languished at the bottom of the Eight Desolate Beast Tribe rankings.

The prominent Beast Tribes had, with increasing frequency, publicly disparaged the Sky Fox Tribe, contending that they no longer merited their esteemed position. Whispers abounded suggesting that any Beast Tribe on the Bahuang Continent possessing sufficient strength should be granted the right to challenge the Sky Fox Tribe’s standing.

Both Hu Qianqiu and the Elder Council were in dire need of a genuine Heavenly Fox prodigy to extricate their tribe from this ignominious situation.

"Grandpa, that outcast is decidedly not a genius. She wronged me grievously, and I seek retribution!" Liu Xueyu declared, her voice trembling with agitation.

"Xueyu, you are my foremost concern. Rest assured, Grandpa shall not permit that woman to escape unscathed. I have ascertained that she has remained secluded in her residence for several days, making direct confrontation problematic. However, she is attended by a Medicine Gathering Boy and a seemingly powerless Demon Beast. I have issued orders for their apprehension, and once they are in our grasp, that outcast will be utterly at our mercy," Elder Liu uttered a chilling chuckle.

This is Hu Capital; no one can expect to prosper after incurring the wrath of the Liu Family.

In accordance with Elder Liu’s decree, several Sky Fox Soldiers forcefully brought forth a pink-hued Demon Beast and a small Sky Fox Half-Beast, tossing them into the chamber.

"Bo Bo, you despicable curs!" The Bo Bo Sheep cried out in fury, several dark talisman papers affixed to its diminutive form.

Little Yingying had been rendered unconscious and securely bound.

"This sheep is no ordinary creature. It is rumored that even a Magic Prison cannot contain it. I have specifically employed Witch Talisman papers, meticulously crafted by the Great Witch Doctor himself, to subdue it," Elder Liu remarked, delivering a sharp kick to the Bo Bo Sheep.

Subduing this resilient sheep had exacted a significant toll on his subordinates.

Eyewitness accounts claimed it had instantly slain two Sky Fox Soldiers and inflicted deep gashes upon the face of a Sky Fox General. Astonishingly, despite its ovine appearance, it possessed the ability to articulate human speech, leading to conjecture about its true nature as a mutant Demon Beast.

Were it not for its potential utility, Elder Liu would have readily surrendered it to the Great Witch Doctor for dissection, in a bid to unravel the mysteries of its being.

"Hmph, with them ensnared, that outcast is destined to perish by my hand. I shall carve her flesh piece by piece and grind her bones to dust, ensuring a magnificently agonizing demise," Liu Xueyu vowed with palpable hatred.

"Nay, Xueyu, your grandfather has a more intricate strategy in mind for this situation. This Half-Beast outcast cannot be dispatched—not yet," Elder Liu stated, his expression deepening with an enigmatic resolve.

The Bo Bo Sheep, in a state of intense anxiety, fixated on Elder Liu, its futile attempts to dislodge the talisman papers from its body proving fruitless.

"My dearest master, do not fall into their treacherous snare," the Bo Bo Sheep pleaded silently, its thoughts directed towards its owner.

For a long while, Yun Sheng remained at the inn, the lamplight having already appeared, yet neither Bo Bo Sheep nor Little Yingying had returned. A sense of unease crept in; could something have transpired while she was in seclusion? Yun Sheng made an attempt to reach out to Bo Bo Sheep, only to discover she could no longer sense its aura. At this point, genuine worry began to set in. As Bo Bo is Yun Sheng's contracted beast, bound by life, its presence should always be detectable on the Bahuang Continent. This inexplicable absence was unprecedented.

With no other recourse, Yun Sheng turned to Qian Lang, who promptly dispatched his men to conduct a search. However, by the break of dawn the following day, there was still no word regarding Bo Bo and Little Yingying. It became clear to Yun Sheng that they must have encountered some form of predicament. As if to confirm her suspicions, a messenger arrived with a letter around midday.

The correspondence was from Elder Liu, informing Yun Sheng that Bo Bo Sheep and Little Yingying were currently under his care. He stipulated that if Yun Sheng wished to see them returned, she must come to his residence alone that afternoon. Upon learning of this development, Qian Lang voiced his intention to accompany her. "No," Yun Sheng stated firmly, "This is a personal matter between Elder Liu and myself. It should not involve Cangdu or Fengdu. My going alone is sufficient." Although Qian Lang harbored concerns for Yun Sheng's safety, he recognized the futility of interference, recalling Yun Sheng's earlier display of formidable power. Yun Sheng upheld her end of the unspoken agreement, arriving at Elder Liu's residence by herself.

"Bo Bo," Yun Sheng’s gaze fell upon Bo Bo Sheep the instant she stepped into Elder Liu's dwelling. The creature was bound tightly, resembling a zongzi, with several black talisman papers affixed to its body, leaving it suspended just outside Elder Liu's gate. Little Yingying, however, was nowhere to be seen.
