Gu Shen devises a plan to use Zhou's hidden Hypnosis Seed to spy on an upcoming transaction between the Upper City and the Storm Church. He believes the Upper City will dispatch a powerful individual, possibly Lie Renuo, and that Song Ci may be needed to counter them. Meanwhile, Zhou is tasked by Spring Plow Saint to gather a list of "returnees" for a grand ceremony, unaware of their true purpose.

The Spring Plow Saint had long known the thoughts of this subordinate.

He calmly said: "Those ’returnees’ you are responsible for gathering are not meant for sacrifice... The reason for sending them to the Ice Sea is to ensure their survival, not their death."

Zhou was taken aback.

"Lord Divine has forged a peerless super airship, named ’Storm.’

The corners of the Spring Plow Saint’s lips slightly curled up, "In the coming days, Lord Divine will take these returnees and leave the Southern Continent. Only those lucky enough to be recognized by the Holy City have a chance to board... No other person knows about this news yet."

Zhou’s mind was blank.

Leaving the Southern Continent... to where?

"There’s no need to guard Yuanting Island because it is no longer important. Not just Yuanting Island, in a few days, even the Holy City will be insignificant."

Spring Plow stood still, only slightly tilting his head to look at the woman behind him, and softly said: "These are just specks of dust in history; once the Storm starts, they’ll all be left behind, becoming invisible fragments... The end times are imminent, only those who board the Storm will survive."

"End times?"

Zhou asked in confusion.

"A Super Giant Source Material Storm is about to strike the Five Continents."

The Spring Plow Saint lowered his eyes and said coldly: "Although the Southern Continent’s geographical location is relatively safe, it... does not matter. The entire Five Continents is nothing but fragile paper against this Source Material Storm."

"Alright, about the ’Storm,’ you’ll naturally know once you board."

Given the gravity of the matter, the executor responsible for the list coordination is more than just Zhou.

Approximately ten thousand people will be transferred to the Storm.

This is a massive operation.

The Spring Plow Saint noticed Zhou’s complex expression, and he smiled and asked: "Why, are you reluctant to leave your homeland?"

"No... It’s just too abrupt..."

Zhou said blankly: "This news is truly a bit shocking."

"Shocking..."

The Spring Plow Saint sighed and murmured: "Indeed, this news also shocked me deeply."

After a brief pause.

He continued to ask: "If I remember correctly... you should have stayed in Xiyin City for a long time before. If there’s anything you’re reluctant to leave behind, there’s still time to retrieve it now."

"There’s nothing I’m reluctant to leave."

Zhou shook her head, softly and resolutely saying: "Lord, everything I have belongs to the church. Wherever you and Lord Divine are, that is my home, and I will follow unto death wherever you go."

"Heh..."

Hearing these words, the Spring Plow Saint was in high spirits; he walked up to Zhou, extended his hand, and affectionately stroked this subordinate he had cherished most.

Despite being wrapped in the thick Storm Cult robe.

But Zhou had a great figure and a very delicate appearance.

Eight years had passed, yet she had not aged, her black hair and eyes were exceptionally bright, and even the baby fat on her doll-like face had not faded.

"In that case... accompany me to the Ice Sea today, it’s just as well we need an assistant for the transaction."

The Spring Plow Saint’s fingers entwined in the loose strands of Zhou’s hair.

"I will follow your orders, Lord."

Zhou seemed like a doll, complying with the manipulations of the Spring Plow Saint.

However, at the moment when fingertips brushed against her skin, her body trembled slightly, the tremor was very subtle.

The Spring Plow Saint did not notice...

In Zhou’s pupils, a hint of the golden blaze shadow flickered.

...
