The dragon Vesuvius and his forces prepared to face an invasion of angels led by Mikhail. Simultaneously, demons led by Satan appeared, seemingly ready to fight alongside Vesuvius. However, the angels suddenly retreated, leaving Vesuvius uneasy. Meanwhile, the God of Light confronted a crack in reality, realizing the primordial being known as Void had returned.

Folding his blazing wings, the dragon suspended himself within the golden brilliance of his divine kingdom. Below him, rivers of golden coins flowed, shimmering under the light of the stars. With eyes as sharp as a hunter's, he fixated on the fallen angel, the demonic dragon, and an angel, all hovering before him, seemingly defying the very grasp of gravity.

Following the angels' strange retreat, Vesuvius had dragged his unwilling companions into his divine kingdom. He craved answers—answers to the bewildering chaos unfolding around him. He had battled and warred against ancient entities, yet he still lacked the fundamental information to even comprehend their objectives.

Mustering the full power of his vocal cords, the immeasurable energy of his stars surging through him, he declared, "I am a participant in this war! I demand answers! I wish to know everything!"

His aura intensified, pressing against the trio before him. He needed to assert his dominance and demonstrate his resolve to obtain the answers he sought. The three auras also flared, their forces colliding and sending ripples across the fiery surface of the star below. Silence prevailed, the four powers clashing in a wordless standoff.

"Tell me, Vesuvius, what do you know of our lineage?" Satanael's voice shattered the profound silence, a dissonant chorus of demonic tones emanating from his multiple heads. Vesuvius, at a loss for words, delved into his inherited memories. His eyes, pulsing with light, searched frantically but yielded no relevant information.

He was aware of the dragon god and his siblings, but that was the extent of his knowledge. This realization gnawed at him, feeling like a critical omission that should not exist.

Satanael's numerous eyes gleamed with amusement as he observed Vesuvius's struggle. "Nothing, of course, nothing. Our progenitor, the dragon god, expunged it, deeming such knowledge too perilous for younger dragons."

Vesuvius remained quiet, sensing he was nearing a significant revelation. The void, the gods, and the balance races—it was all overwhelmingly complex.

"The truth is manifest, young dragon. If there are siblings, then there—"

Vesuvius completed the thought, his eyes brightening, "—is a parent." It now seemed self-evident. He even felt foolish for never having questioned it before.

"Do not interrupt me!" Satanael bellowed, his irritation causing his flames to burn hotter. He continued, "Genesis is the name of our ancestors, and they are gone. They vanished just as the Father of angels and demons, their elder sibling, did, and in the same manner as the embodiment of madness, Purity, their youngest sibling, disappeared."

Vesuvius contemplated this, grasping a truth far more shocking than he had ever imagined: 'So, all the balance races are just one large, dysfunctional family.'

"Void, the eldest, has, however, awakened. I had assumed it was a fleeting event, but I fear they have not returned to slumber." Lucifer spoke this time, his serene, angelically handsome face marred by a flicker of concern. Vesuvius would have believed the devil himself was terrified if he didn't know better. He couldn't fathom why—even though he had never encountered Void, it had aided his ascension; it couldn't be that malevolent.

Lucifer's tone shifted, becoming more instructive. "Void came first, then souls, then the material realm, and finally, purity. This is the sequence in which the world came into existence."

Lucifer's gaze momentarily shifted as he looked towards Vesuvius. "We fought as allies, dragon. You endeavored to assist me in liberating my kin, and I, Morningstar, shall never forget that. Consider this a preemptive warning before the conclusion of all things. Ultimately, everything shall revert to the void. Only divine kingdoms and a select few special worlds, including Lorenia, will endure."

A flash of light ensued, and the fallen angel and his siblings vanished, leaving behind the demonic dragon, who growled, "If you possess anything valuable stored elsewhere, transfer it here, void-king, for in the end, it will all be for naught."

The seven-headed dragon unfurled his wings, shadows and crimson flames crawling across their vast expanse. Observing Satanael preparing to depart, Vesuvius quickly posed the question that burned most fiercely in his mind: "Why this world? What makes it so special? Why all the conflict surrounding it?"

It was a puzzle he couldn't resolve. He, not even a deity, possessed the power to obliterate entire worlds with a mere whim. Simultaneously, he had witnessed the immensity of the cosmos. What was the logical purpose behind these omnipotent beings vying for control of a single world when countless others existed?

"Why do you inquire of me?" The sin of wrath growled, appearing exasperated, the furious crimson inferno intensifying. Nevertheless, Vesuvius persisted, his desire for the answer outweighing his apprehension of a confrontation with the demonic dragon, "There is no one else to ask. Everyone manipulates, deceives, and guards their own objectives. I doubt you, the sin of wrath, would concern yourself with such matters."

The demon's tone grew menacing. "You speak the truth. I would never stoop to the level of a petty insect's scheming! As the sovereign of fire and fury, I shall incinerate all in my wake. Very well, I shall indulge your curiosity."

"This realm is the lowest stratum of existence, the densest and most concentrated point. Consider why it teems with what you call dungeons. All those fractured pieces of time and space are drawn here, to the very nexus from which reality first unfurled."

Vesuvius's thoughts churned as he processed the revelation. 'So, all things converge here because it is the genesis. But why is it such a fiercely contested battleground?'

A flicker of what appeared to be respect crossed the demon dragon's gaze. "You may possess strength, but in the face of the Void, even deities are but mere insects. To contain the Void, the Father of Angels and Genesis had to unite their powers, meticulously crafting this minuscule pocket of existence amidst the boundless abyss."

Engulfed in flames, the demon dragon dissolved, his final words echoing, "Tremble before the Void, for nothing now restrains it. They are ancient beings, their consciousnesses warped and alien."

A profound silence enveloped Vesuvius as he mulled over the grim tidings, a tremor of apprehension stirring within his dual hearts. He was not yet strong enough to face a god, and now, a threat far greater had emerged. A singular notion resonated within him, 'Could I communicate with the Void? I can traverse the void, and I am, after all, a void king.'
