King of Creation Chapter 2208 - 2193: Blazing Fire Scepter Order

Great Zhou, Luoyi, Ancestor God Temple.

A star priest on duty rushed into the spirit hall where Chief Sun Priest Bai Xiang was cultivating, and after the guards transmitted the message, a virtual image of Chief Priest Bai Xiang appeared with a displeased expression from the depths of the hall.

This is Chief Sun Priest Bai Xiang in cultivation, appearing in the spirit hall through avatar projection.

"Why such panic, why disturb me now? Can’t you wait until the bi-monthly session in five days to interrupt me?" Bai Xiang said displeased.

The star priest looked panicked, quickly bowed and said, "Great Chief Priest, I really received an emergency message, hence had no choice but to disturb the Great Chief Priest in advance."

"Emergency message?" Bai Xiang’s virtual image showed a slight easing of displeasure, "Read!"

The star priest smiled wryly, "Great Chief Priest, it is a blood scroll of utmost urgency, applied with a special spirit art from the Barbarian Spirit Hall, I am neither authorized nor capable of viewing it, can only report quickly to the Great Chief Priest."

"A blood scroll of utmost urgency?" At this, Great Chief Priest Bai Xiang’s demeanor finally changed.

Blood scrolls are the most critical communication jade scrolls in Ancestor God Temple.

Any blood scroll must be presented to the Great Chief Priest.

It is a jade scroll that communicates both internally and externally, representing the extreme importance of the message.

"Barbarian Spirit Hall? Those qualified to present a blood scroll of utmost urgency include Hall Master Changle, Left and Right Chief Priests.

Currently, the Hall Master and Right Chief Priest are present, so the one presenting the blood scroll could only be..."

As Bai Xiang deduced who would present such an urgent blood scroll, his face changed again, "Bring it!" The star priest quickly approached with both hands offering it.

Holding the blood scroll, there was an urgent scorching sensation, and pondering briefly, the fingertips emitted a mysterious clear light, lightly touching, the sealing on the blood scroll vanished instantly.

Divine Sense submerged, and in sight were lines of blood-soaked large characters formed by Ye Zhen’s Divine Sense, Killing Qi and Blood Qi.

"Ye Zhen urgently reports from Barbarian Spirit Hall: today within the Blood River Fortress’s blood river...."

Explaining this matter is extremely complex, despite Ye Zhen’s careful wording while reporting, striving to convey all shocking discoveries.

However, the matter itself isn’t easy to describe.

Thus, Ye Zhen finally added, "Ye Zhen respectfully requests the Great Chief Priest to personally visit the Blood River Fortress, for direct observation!"

Great Chief Priest Bai Xiang’s expression had become extraordinarily serious.

The avatar projection within the spirit hall dissipated instantly, and moments later, clad in a red robe with a jade belt, Great Chief Priest Bai Xiang appeared personally, "Contact Barbarian Spirit Hall’s Left Chief Priest Ye Zhen immediately."

Soon, small-scale communication transfer formations activated simultaneously, countless exchange jade slips constantly flickering.

Great Chief Priest Bai Xiang even requested Ye Zhen to record the Blood River Forbidden Land situation using a shadow capture jade slip for personal sensing.

After closely studying for two hours, Great Chief Priest Bai Xiang’s expression was incredibly grave, "Ye Zhen, honestly, such a formation, I have never heard of.

Moreover, I sense that the aura of the Blood River Forbidden Land is at least ten thousand years old, and the energy within is simply beyond estimation.

No matter whose handiwork this forbidden land is, the hidden danger must be thoroughly investigated."

"Great Chief Priest, I also find it extraordinary, if observed in person the demonstration of this secret technique extracting blood qi is even more astounding.

I sincerely request the Great Chief Priest to personally research the situation, to unravel this truth."

Scared!

Ye Zhen was truly scared!

Prior to this, Ye Zhen had slain ten demon clan slaves, sensed various burial methods, and all burial positions.

Ye Zhen was horrified to discover, regardless of the method, even without burial, leaving them exposed in the wilds, the eerie blood-colored network, like tendrils with sentience, would immediately seek the deceased, absorbing their blood essence and various negative energies.

Ye Zhen found newly deceased martial artists, the absorption amount and speed by the eerie blood-colored network was greater and faster.

Similarly, newly deceased martial artists buried deeper, the absorption amount and speed by the eerie blood-colored network was greater and faster.

Furthermore, even if the newly deceased body was cremated leaving only bones, the blood-colored network could still extract blood qi and negative energies within.

Unless fully incinerated into ash.

Moreover, regardless of location!

Whether outside the blood fortress without formation cover, or inside the Blood River Fortress with formation cover, as long as a deceased appeared, the blood-colored network would spread as if unrestricted underground, absorbing blood qi and negative energies.

Extremely hidden.

Must be fully concentrated to sense.

Once the corpse had any movement, the blood-colored network would vanish like smoke as if disturbed, impossible to trace.

Once the corpse returned to silence, the blood-colored network would reemerge.

This situation truly frightened Ye Zhen.

This blood-colored network’s extremely hidden extraction of blood qi and negative energies from corpses itself isn’t terrifying.

Terrifying is the Blood River Forbidden Land and the blood-colored network, by estimation, has existed for at least ten thousand years.

At least ten thousand years.

In ten thousand years, demon clan and human clan have fought countless battles in the Human Demon Battlefield, buried countless soldiers from both sides.

The numbers, calculated, are simply terrifying.

Based on regular years, the total number of soldiers from both sides dying in the Human Demon Battlefield, ranges from at least 100,000 to as many as 200,000 to 300,000, calculated over ten thousand years, that’s billions.

This only calculates the army, not civilians.

And the range this blood-colored network covers is unknown, if small then fine, but if large, then simply...

Moreover, this is assuming regular years.

Every thousand years or so, the demon clan launches a thousand-year campaign.

Each thousand-year campaign, the death toll of soldiers from both sides ranges from as few as 7 to 8 million, to more than 10 million, this is regular deaths.

Irregular death totals, also absolutely aren’t few.

This cumulative total.

Makes Ye Zhen feel like he’s sitting on a bomb.

If something happens to this Blood River Forbidden Land, the Heavenly Wave Army of North Sea will definitely be annihilated.

The terrifying energy fluctuation, at that time, Ye Zhen with any amount of all living beings’ wish power, cannot stop it.

Thus, Ye Zhen immediately reported this matter to Great Sun Priest Bai Xiang at Ancestor God Temple.

Such a significant matter, isn’t something Ye Zhen or Barbarian Spirit Hall can handle.

Only Ancestor God Temple, Great Zhou, can manage.

Of course, Ye Zhen, as a minister, also reported this issue to the Ren Venerate Emperor simultaneously through Secret Overseer and Heavenly Patrol Department.

Such a grand matter can’t be concealed.

"Ye Zhen, I know this matter is extremely significant. However, you need to remember three points, first, immediately seal the news, don’t act rashly, stop any explorations of the Blood River Forbidden Land.

Second, as you said, I should personally visit, but Ancestor God Temple rules, Great Chief Priest cannot leave Ancestor God Temple except in the case of earth-shattering changes, I cannot visit personally, but I will absolutely give utmost attention to this matter.

Third, your request, I cannot grant for now. Mobilizing troops is a significant national affair, I cannot interfere.

Moreover, replacing with Ancestor God Temple elite priests army or Imperial Guard, this matter is too abrupt, if done, it would only draw attention from all sides,

Furthermore, with you guarding this unusual place, I can still trust, should it be someone else, once the news leaks, if the other side learns of this, there might be unknown changes, do you understand?" Said Great Chief Priest Bai Xiang.

Ye Zhen’s face gradually showed a hint of helplessness, after reporting this news, he made an additional request, which was to use the Blood River Fortress as a reason, to replace the Guardian Army here with Imperial Court elite Forbidden Army or elite priests army from Ancestor God Temple.

To allow the Heavenly Wave Army of North Sea to first leave this pit of fire.

This idea has now failed.

Of course, Ye Zhen wasn’t too disappointed, he only wanted to try, without holding much expectation at the time.

Seemingly sensing Ye Zhen’s emotions, Great Chief Priest Bai Xiang was about to say something when someone arrived suddenly, it was Chief Eunuch Yu Chao’en personally.

"Great Chief Priest, His Majesty urgently summons!" The hurried Yu Chao’en deeply bowed.

"I know!" Responding, Chief Priest Bai Xiang suddenly shouted, "Transmit the Blazing Sun Scepter Command from this Great Chief Priest, all Power Priests, arrive at the Imperial Palace for a meeting within an hour.

Those who are late, the palace rules are severe!"
