The Fox Clan Leader Tu Zheng and Supreme Elder Hu Jun discuss the dangerous situations surrounding the clan, including the disappearance of their elder Hu Buding and the potential threat posed by Ye Zhen. They also learn that the Monkey Clan's Stone Monkey Saint and Green-eyed Great Saint are searching for Sunx Ba, who is connected to Hu Qingtong and Zhu Hong, and have given the Fox Clan an ultimatum. Meanwhile, Ye Zhen uses the Mirage Dragon Pearl space to interrogate the captured Fox Clan grand young master Tu Jinggao.

"Ah...."

Amidst the piercing screams, the Grand Young Master, Tu Jinggao’s body suddenly stiffened like a straight tree, but in the next moment, it curled to the extreme under intense convulsions, like a shrimp that’s been heated red.

Below him, a pool of liquid had accumulated, consisting of sweat and urine from involuntary release.

As his body convulsed violently, Tu Jinggao’s form began to shift between his True Body of the Fox Clan and human form in a fierce transformation. The intense pain was almost making it impossible for Tu Jinggao to maintain his human shape.

Ye Zhen eased up slightly, allowing Tu Jinggao some time, around dozens of breaths, to recover his composure and stabilize his human appearance.

This simultaneous torment on the flesh and Divine Soul was like a bowstring that couldn’t be pulled too tight; if too tight, once the string breaks, it results in either death or complete numbness.

Only by alternating tension and release can this pain be amplified to its extreme, an extreme that drives one to despair.

"Little Demon, give our Grand Young Master Tu another taste, let him enjoy it thoroughly once more."

"No..."

"Don’t!" Just as Ye Zhen’s voice landed, the half-unconscious Grand Young Master Tu Jinggao suddenly screamed loudly.

Taking a breath, he licked his dry lips, parched from dehydration, and with a recoil in his gaze at the pale red grass leaf swaying before him like a venomous snake, Tu Jinggao nodded hoarsely, "I’ll tell you. What do you want to know? I’ll tell you everything, absolutely everything!"

A cold sneer flashed across Ye Zhen’s lips.

In fairness, Tu Jinggao was somewhat of a half-hard man. Under the torture of Ye Zhen’s Soul-locking Technique and Little Demon’s peculiar poison, he managed to hold out for over an hour before surrendering.

Little Demon’s poison, which Tu Jinggao feared greatly, came from a plant called Shame Grass.

Shame Grass’s toxin doesn’t actually harm the body; the only effect of the poison is to make the poisoned person exceedingly sensitive inside and out compared to usual.

Depending on the amount of the poison, the sensitivity could increase by four or five times at minimum, or tens of times at maximum.

Anyway, Ye Zhen had Little Demon cultivate around ten or so stalks of Shame Grass, piercing Tu Jinggao several times. Ye Zhen didn’t know exactly how many times more sensitive Tu Jinggao became.

But once pierced, even a mere needle prick would cause Tu Jinggao to let out a deafening scream akin to slaughtering a pig.

After several rounds of torture, Tu Jinggao understood the effect of Shame Grass and was particularly terrified whenever he saw the grass poised to pierce him.

"Was it you who activated the Ten Thousand Foxes Returning Heart Formation?"

Ye Zhen asked the first question, and Tu Jinggao nodded in difficulty.

"Is there a way for us to pass through it safely?" This was the most urgent issue Ye Zhen needed to solve at the moment.

Tu Jinggao hesitated over this question.

Ye Zhen didn’t say more, but with a cold laugh, made the blade-like leaves of around ten Shame Grass bend slightly and slowly aim towards Tu Jinggao.

In fact, it’s not the moment of death itself that inspires fear, but rather the process leading up to the inevitable arrival of death.

With the Shame Grass slowly approaching, Tu Jinggao, as if pushed to the execution ground, became extremely terrified again, shaking his head vigorously.

"No... No... Yes... I have a method!" In his urgency, Tu Jinggao became rather incoherent.

"You really have a method?"

"Yes, really!"

Seeing those ten stalks of Shame Grass about to pierce him again, and considering the torture more agonizing than ten Purgatories he had endured earlier, at this moment, Tu Jinggao wished he could give Ye Zhen his heart.

"What is it?"

"Passing Formation Talisman!"

"Do you have it with you?"

"Yes!"

"Bring it here!"

Once a person succumbs, it becomes natural for them to succumb a second, third, fourth, or even every time thereafter.

With Tu Jinggao’s will completely collapsed, things that he should never have done became trivial.

A fully jade-green talisman, with its patterns gleaming with golden light, was shakily taken out by the Grand Young Master Tu Jinggao and handed to Ye Zhen.

"Will activating this really allow passage through the Ten Thousand Foxes Returning Heart Formation? You wouldn’t deceive me, would you?"

Ye Zhen casually questioned but didn’t wait for Tu Jinggao’s reply. Instead, he slightly activated his Divine Sense, causing a sudden burst of flesh on Tu Jinggao’s nape, exploding into blood.

"Even if you deceive me, since I’m trapped in the Ten Thousand Foxes Returning Heart Formation, once I activate my Divine Sense, your head along with your Innate Divine Soul will instantly explode," Ye Zhen threatened again.

Upon hearing this, Tu Jinggao shook his head vigorously, assuring that it was indeed true.

"Alright then, I’m not afraid of your deception. You’ve already tasted the domination of my Secret Technique. Now, continue answering my questions truthfully, or you know the consequences." As if to affirm Ye Zhen’s threat, dozens of Shame Grass began to sway synchronously, making Tu Jinggao’s face turn grim.

"About that incomplete Qingqiu Tomb your father mentioned, is it real or fake? What’s his intention with Hu Qingtong? What’s he scheming ultimately?" This was another critical question Ye Zhen needed to clarify.

Whether it was Ninth Elder Hu Buding’s plot or the Bear Clan’s strong proposal, Ye Zhen felt their motives were surely not as simple as Clan Leader Tu Zheng claimed, merely about retrieving the lost fragments of Qingqiu Tomb scattered outside.

The reason is simple. Qingqiu Tomb only works for the Fox Clan; for the Bear Clan, it’s useless. The Bear Clan has no reason to be involved in this matter so eagerly.

Unfortunately, even Tu Jinggao knows very little about this matter.

It’s true that the Qingqiu Tomb of the Fox Clan is indeed fragmented, and there is indeed a plan within the Fox Clan to recover the lost fragments of Qingqiu Tomb. This is true.

However, Tu Jinggao doesn’t know what plan his father Tu Zheng has for Hu Qingtong.

Tu Jinggao just honestly told Ye Zhen that his father said Hu Qingtong is crucial to the Fox Clan.

Ye Zhen chose to believe these words.

Under the Sword Heart Enlightenment state, Ye Zhen can determine that Tu Jinggao was not lying when he said those words.

"You should be able to contact your father, right? When will he return? Does he know about the Bear Clan Giant Spirit Saint’s forced marriage?"

Ye Zhen’s question made Tu Jinggao’s expression hesitant, which made Ye Zhen’s face change, with his eyes like electrifying sight.

Ye Zhen understood that there is an unexpected situation beyond what Ye Zhen anticipated.

"You better tell the truth, otherwise!" Several Shame Grass began to sway again.

Under the threat of Shame Grass, Tu Jinggao swallowed hard and slowly said, "Actually, my father hasn’t left; he’s still within Tu Mountain."

"What?"

Ye Zhen was shocked, Tu Zheng is still inside Tu Mountain?

With a quick turn of thoughts, Ye Zhen hurriedly activated a Shadow Capture Jade Slip and then shouted at Tu Jinggao, "What’s going on, tell me everything without any reservation, otherwise!" Ye Zhen sneered.

Since he has already revealed the secret of his father’s presence in Tu Mountain, Tu Jinggao had nothing to hide and spilled everything Ye Zhen wanted to know like pouring beans from a bamboo tube.

Before finishing listening, Ye Zhen’s face had already turned livid.

Tu Zheng, this Old Fox, is truly an Old Fox.

Half a quarter-hour later, after squeezing out almost everything from Tu Jinggao, Ye Zhen stared at him without blinking, causing Tu Jinggao’s heart to palpitate nervously, large beads of sweat trickling down his forehead uncontrollably.

"You... I beg you... don’t kill me... I’ve told you everything I know!" Tu Jinggao was very afraid of death.

While considering how to deal with Tu Jinggao, Ye Zhen smiled knowingly when he saw the situation.

Tu Jinggao, this chess piece, cannot just disappear like this. Otherwise, it would immediately alert the Fox Clan, and one mistake could make Ye Zhen’s efforts all in vain.

"I heard you have two brothers?" Ye Zhen suddenly asked Tu Jinggao.

"That’s right, they are both outstanding, one is in closed-door training, and the other is studying abroad." Tu Jinggao replied.

"Hmm, very good, I won’t kill you, but I’ll let you out later! However..."

Ye Zhen casually summoned the Shadow Capture Jade Slip he had activated earlier, "Inside this, there’s all the circumstances when you confessed earlier. You understand its power?"

Hmm, the position of the clan leader of the Qingqiu Fox Clan, there’s only one, you should understand!"

Upon hearing this, Tu Jinggao’s breath immediately caught. With his intelligence, how could he not understand the meaning of Ye Zhen’s words?

The Spirit Shadow in Ye Zhen’s hand, whether it falls into the hands of his two brothers or other members of the Qingqiu Fox Clan, will instantly ruin Tu Jinggao’s reputation.

Don’t mention competing for the clan leader position, once this Spirit Shadow is exposed, his best outcome would likely be being confined in Qingqiu Tomb, facing the wall for self-reflection until old age.

Thinking about the beauty in his backyard, the exquisite wine and women in his daily life, how free, unrestrained, and enjoyable it is.

But once confined in Qingqiu Tomb, what awaits him is endless solitude.

The most fatal thing is, once this Spirit Shadow is exposed, even his father can’t forgive him.

Without much consideration, Grand Young Master Tu Jinggao heavily nodded.

"You know what you should do?"

"I know!" Tu Jinggao nodded heavily again.

"Very good."

Ye Zhen snapped his fingers, "What I can tell you is, I’m actually easy to get along with, especially those who cooperate with me, I don’t make them suffer.

With this in my hand, I don’t actually need you to do much for me. You should know, regarding Qing Tong, this matter shouldn’t end just like that. When the time is right, you just need to give me a heads-up.

Then, this Shadow Capture Jade Slip will never appear before the public, are you willing?"

Before Ye Zhen finished speaking, Grand Young Master Tu Jinggao was already nodding energetically at Ye Zhen, "I am willing, I am willing!"

"Very good, then tonight’s matter never happened?" Ye Zhen asked.

"Never happened!" Tu Jinggao nodded heavily.

Half a quarter-hour later, after receiving some treatment and hydration from the Little Demon, and obtaining Ye Zhen’s contact information, Tu Jinggao changed his clothes and was sent out of the Mirage Dragon Pearl Space by Ye Zhen, except for a slightly pale complexion.

At this point, the time in the outside world had just passed a little over half a quarter-hour.
