They witness the city's grandeur and the procession of soldiers heading towards the northern altar. On the altar, City Lord Fang You stands with a mysterious black-robed man, revealed to be Fang Chi, Fang You's younger brother and Fang Geyu's uncle. Fang Geyu explains that Fang Chi holds significant influence within the city, potentially more than the City Lord's steward, Qin Lou. Baili An asks about the importance of the Sea God Festival, and Fang Geyu elaborates that it's crucial for the city's fortune, weather, and blessings, tied to a sacred scale stone on the altar from which talisman spirits are awakened.
