Invincible Divine Sword Chapter 2091: Ancestral Dragon Body of the Long Clan
Previously on Invincible Divine Sword...
Most of those Dragon Clan Elixirs had been personally crafted by the Dragon Clan Ancestor, making them incredibly valuable to figures like the Primordial Universe Taoist, the Abyss of Darkness, and the Destroying Heaven Demon.
Consequently, Yang Xiaotian distributed the entirety of the Dragon Clan Elixirs among the group.
As for the pair of seven-hundred-million-year-old Long Clan Divine Medicines, they provided the greatest benefit to Yang Xiaotian specifically, so he kept them for his own cultivation.
Yang Xiaotian and his companions were in no rush to depart from the Dragon Palace. The atmosphere within was saturated with Primordial Dragon Qi, a rare and precious resource for cultivation that they felt should not be squandered.
Each person found a corner to sit in, beginning the process of absorbing the Primordial Dragon Qi found within the palace walls.
While Yang Xiaotian’s group was occupied with their cultivation, the Young Master of the Xuanming Demon Sect and his subordinates were retreating from the Ancestor Dragon Realm in a pathetic state.
The Young Master wore a dark, resentful expression throughout their flight.
"Once my Primordial Demon World conquers the Ancestor Dragon Realm, I will force that Silver Heavenly Dragon Clan Princess to kneel and lick my toes!" he snarled.
"And as for that brat, I’ll ensure his existence becomes a living hell!"
His eyes glowed blood-red as he recalled the humiliating moment Yang Xiaotian had blasted him away.
Ever since the passing of the Dragon Clan Ancestor and the Ten Ancestors, the Ancestor Dragon Realm had become a tempting target, with various Realms eager to claim its riches.
However, the Innate Dragon Clan Great Array guarded the surrounding starry sky, preventing large armies from crossing and making a full-scale invasion by the major realms nearly impossible.
For years, the Primordial Demon World had been studying this Innate Dragon Clan Great Array, and they were finally on the verge of discovering its weakness.
Once the barrier was breached, the legions of the Primordial Demon World could invade in earnest, bringing the unification of the Ancestor Dragon Realm within their grasp!
"The time is near. During the next Dead Spirit Conference in the Ancestor Dragon Realm, the Demon Lord will surely shatter the Innate Dragon Clan Great Array, and that shall be the moment our Primordial Demon World reigns supreme!" an elder of the Xuanming Demon Sect declared in a shrill tone.
The Demon Lord of the Primordial Demon World was none other than the First Demon!
Although the First Demon did not rule the Primordial Demon World as its Master, he held a position of immense authority, commanding nearly half of the demonic sects within that realm.
Since the death of the Dragon Clan Ancestor and the Ten Ancestors, the various Dragon Clans of the Ancestor Dragon Realm have gathered every century for a Dead Spirit Conference to pay respects to the Ancestor, Long Yi, Long Ye, and the others.
The date for the next conference was drawing close.
Several years passed by.
Yang Xiaotian and his allies had finally finished draining the Primordial Dragon Qi from the Dragon Palace.
Despite only a few years having passed, the influence of the Primordial Dragon Qi was undeniable; Yang Xiaotian felt his Primordial Dragon Holy Body grow stronger, and his cultivation level had surged forward.
With the Dragon Qi exhausted, he chose not to consume the two seven-hundred-million-year-old Divine Medicines immediately. Instead, he began to meticulously examine the records left behind by the Dragon Clan Ancestor.
He studied every book and page with extreme care.
He knew these notes might contain clues regarding the Ancestor Dragon Tree or the whereabouts of Long Yi.
After a thorough review of the Ancestor’s writings, Yang Xiaotian fell into deep thought. The records indicated that the Primordial Dragon Armor had been in Long Yi’s possession.
Long Yi had worn that very armor during his legendary confrontation with the Master of the Holy Realm.
Following his defeat, a dying Long Yi had retreated to the Ancestor Dragon Realm, where he eventually passed away.
This meant the Primordial Dragon Armor was somewhere within the Ancestor Dragon Realm.
Unfortunately, the notes did not specify where Long Yi had gone upon his return.
However, the Primordial Dragon Order had remained with the Dragon Clan Ancestor rather than Long Yi. Thus, finding the Dragon Body of the Dragon Clan Ancestor was the key to obtaining the Order.
There was a catch: activating the Primordial Dragon Order required the Thirty-Fourth Layer of the Primordial Dragon Holy Body.
Currently, Yang Xiaotian’s Primordial Dragon Holy Body was only at the Thirty-Third Layer, leaving him just one step short.
He realized that if he could locate and merge with the Dragon Body of either Long Yi or the Dragon Clan Ancestor, his Holy Body would likely break through to that thirty-fourth stage.
Yang Xiaotian halted his meditative cultivation, deciding to prioritize the search for the two ancestral Dragon Bodies.
Finding Long Yi’s remains would lead him to the Ancestor Dragon Tree and the Primordial Dragon Armor.
Finding the Dragon Clan Ancestor’s remains would grant him the Primordial Dragon Order.
Leading the group out of the Dragon Palace, Yang Xiaotian began his search within the Dragon Destruction Cave.
Because the Dragon Clan Ancestor had constructed the Dragon Palace here, likely before his death, Yang Xiaotian suspected the Ancestor’s Dragon Body was hidden somewhere within the cave.
It might even be concealed in the vicinity of the palace itself.
Yet, after scouring the areas surrounding the Dragon Palace, they found no trace of the Dragon Body or the Primordial Dragon Order.
Just as Yang Xiaotian prepared to look elsewhere, Master Ding spoke up, "Why don’t you search the Dragon Palace again?"
Yang Xiaotian was surprised. They had already looked through the palace and come up empty-handed.
Did Master Ding notice something they had missed?
"I haven't found anything concrete, but something about the main hall feels off," Master Ding noted.
Strange?
Intrigued, Yang Xiaotian led the way back to the main hall of the Dragon Palace.
After returning and focusing his senses, Yang Xiaotian perceived a hidden mystery within one of the walls. However, neither he nor his companions could immediately unravel it.
After a moment of reflection, Yang Xiaotian produced the Primordial Dragon Tablet. He channeled the strength of his Primordial Dragon Holy Body to activate it. The tablet erupted in light, and a dragon of pure radiance emerged, sinking into Yang Xiaotian’s forehead.
The Primordial Dragon Art manifested within his mind.
Yang Xiaotian set about mastering the technique. Given his existing Primordial Dragon Holy Body and his mastery of Long Clan Techniques and the Holy Path, he grasped the Art with incredible speed.
Once he had mastered the Primordial Dragon Art, he began to circulate the technique and placed his palm against the wall.
The wall, which had been inert before, suddenly glowed, revealing a portal to a hidden dimension.
Yang Xiaotian stepped inside immediately.
When those from the Abyss of Darkness tried to follow, they were repelled by the portal's energy. It was clear that only one who practiced the Primordial Dragon Art could pass through.
Inside the hidden space, Yang Xiaotian was hit by an overwhelming Dragon Power, more terrifying than anything he had ever encountered.
Instead of fear, he felt immense joy; there was no doubt this power belonged to the Dragon Clan Ancestor!
He surged forward.
After a short flight, a colossal dragon that seemed to span the entire world appeared before him.
The dragon was as vast as an endless mountain range, its scale defying imagination. Yang Xiaotian had previously merged with the Ghost Dragon Ancestor’s body, but compared to the one before him, that had been nothing more than a small snake.
The Dragon Clan Ancestor’s body was gargantuan, and the Dragon Qi radiating from it formed a literal ocean.
Filled with excitement, Yang Xiaotian flew toward the remains.
As he entered the sea of Dragon Qi, the sheer purity of the energy made his blood boil with intensity.
The Primordial Dragon Qi here was far more potent and refined than what they had found in the palace outside.
Yang Xiaotian gazed at the Dragon Clan Ancestor’s Dragon Body, knowing he was looking at a treasure without equal.
