Inheritance of Two Trillion Chapter 2730 - 1945: Terror Trip (Part 2)
Previously on Inheritance of Two Trillion...
"No matter where, just let me get away from this damned plane, away from these damned three people!" Miss Mollya silently repeated this sentence in her mind.
In the midst of suffering, this plane finally descended amidst turbulence.
The business class where Bai Xiaosheng and his party sat was slightly better, while they heard a clatter coming from the economy class behind them.
The flight attendant loudly warned over the broadcast, saying that luggage in the back was flying around, asking everyone not to move, to keep their seat belts fastened, and absolutely not to leave their seats.
"What kind of flight am I on?" Miss Mollya felt like crying.
Finally, the plane jerked to a stop after taxiing for a while.
The flight attendants ran back and forth, urgently organizing everyone to disembark.
From the commotion behind, Bai Xiaosheng vaguely heard people shouting that one side of the engine was on fire or something like that.
Someone opened a window and indeed saw sparks flickering on one side of the engine.
Miss Mollya, just having exhaled a breath, turned pale upon hearing the news.
In a layperson’s understanding from movies, a plane’s engine catching fire is minutes away from an explosion.
Under the stewardess’s organization, passengers scrambled to leave the plane.
When it comes to life and death, everyone was panicking.
Miss Mollya originally wanted to quickly escape the plane, escape Bai Xiaosheng and the others, so she rushed to the front, only to be shoved, causing her to stumble forward, hitting a seat with her head. Thankfully, someone behind her grabbed her and pulled her into an embrace.
Miss Mollya saw a familiar face that made her fearful.
Bai Xiaosheng said to her sternly, "Don’t run around, follow us!"
As he spoke, Lei Ying was leading the way in the front, Lin Weiwei in the back, and Bai Xiaosheng dragging Miss Mollya closely behind.
The four of them, along with the flowing crowd, got off the plane, only to find that the passageway was also crowded with people. There wasn’t just one plane with issues; too many people needed to be evacuated at the same time, causing a temporary bottleneck.
Bai Xiaosheng and his group were like a small boat on a wave, moving left and right, unable to proceed in a straight line.
Miss Mollya couldn’t free herself from Bai Xiaosheng’s grip, muddle-headedly following along, but rather than being grateful for Bai Xiaosheng saving her, she was even more fearful due to previous misunderstandings.
These people might want to take advantage of the chaos to abduct her, she had to escape!
Though Miss Mollya had this thought, she lacked the strength to shake off Bai Xiaosheng.
The people around were all focused on themselves, entirely ignoring her pleas for help.
Lei Ying, who was leading the way, headed wherever there were fewer people.
Sometimes, too many people gathering is the biggest safety risk.
After some back and forth, the four of them accidentally made their way to the airport exit.
However, this could be considered a fortunate occurrence.
Just as everyone was breathing a sigh of relief, Miss Mollya suddenly shoved Bai Xiaosheng away, threw her bag at him, and then bolted away.
Bai Xiaosheng was caught off guard, only instinctively grabbed her bag, watching as its contents scattered all over the ground.
Subsequently, the three of them stared in shock as Miss Mollya bolted away like a rabbit.
"Why is she running?" Lin Weiwei muttered in confusion.
Bai Xiaosheng, holding her bag, smiled bitterly, "She must still think we’re the bad guys."
"What a foolish woman!" Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying muttered in unison.
Bai Xiaosheng watched as her phone, wallet, and documents lay on the ground; she had thrown everything away.
This meant Miss Mollya had nothing on her, no phone, no money, not even able to contact her people.
Seeing the sky outside was dark, with many figures running in the distance, she, as a lone girl, might be in danger.
"Enough talking, let’s chase her!"
Throwing down these words, Bai Xiaosheng quickly strode away.
Lin Weiwei and Lei Ying also chased after him.
Meanwhile, Miss Mollya, running without a clue, reached the roadside, feeling surrounded by people, and unaware if the three behind her had caught up.
In her confusion, she saw a car parked by the road, seemingly about to leave.
Miss Mollya dashed over, flung open the car door, and sat in the passenger seat, startling the white male driver.
Seeing a fellow white person, Miss Mollya breathed a sigh of relief and yelled, "Quick, drive!"
After hesitating for a moment, the man obediently started the car and drove off.
Through the rear-view mirror, Miss Mollya saw Bai Xiaosheng and the other two running over, seemingly spotting her, but they couldn’t catch up. She immediately felt relieved, slumping back into her seat.
At this moment, Bai Xiaosheng and the other two stood roadside, watching the car drive away.
"Do we still go after her?" Lin Weiwei asked breathlessly.
This woman thought of them as bad guys, fearing them like tigers, and they couldn’t catch up.
Bai Xiaosheng stayed silent, immediately heading to the roadside to hail a car.
Lei Ying shrugged and followed along.
Lin Weiwei angrily said, "You guys just want to be the nice ones!"
At this moment, Mollya in the front passenger seat caught her breath.
The white male driver looked her over and asked, "Do we know each other?"
"No." Mollya shook her head, "Take me to the nearest police station, I’ll pay you ten thousand US dollars."
The driver glanced at Mollya. Although her clothes were slightly dirty and wrinkled, they were evidently luxury brands. Her fair and smooth skin on her chest and calves showed she was a wealthy young lady.
The talk of ten thousand US dollars wasn’t entirely impossible.
The driver smiled, adjusted the steering wheel, and stepped on the gas pedal.
Mollya, wary of Bai Xiaosheng and the others on the plane, hadn’t rested well. She had been startled when the flight encountered trouble and had been running and escaping nonstop, utterly exhausted.
Now, momentarily settled in the comfortable seat, she couldn’t help but relax, fatigue overcome her, and she began to doze off.
No one knew how much time had passed when the vehicle finally stopped, and the inertia jolted Mollya awake.
"Are we there?"
Mollya asked instinctively, raising her eyes to look outside, only to be stunned.
Outside was not the brightly lit city, nor were there any police station signs, just dim lights, and what seemed to be a car motel according to the neon sign.
"Where is this?" Mollya asked with a frown.
The sturdy, not unattractive white male driver in his forties smiled, "A place where you can rest."
"I told you to take me to the police!" Mollya frowned.
The man shrugged, pulled out the key, and got out of the car.
Feeling uncomfortable sitting in a car that had turned dark with the engine off, Mollya followed out of the car.
"Darling, come with me!"
Just as she got out, Mollya felt her arm being clamped, the person holding her had frightening strength and was quite rough.
The once decent-looking face of the driver now bore a sinister grin.
He was also a villain! Mollya immediately realized.
"Let go of me, help!" Mollya cried out in fear.
Emerging from one danger only to fall into another, terrified her to the extreme.
The driver violently dragged her towards the motel, and Mollya struggled along the way.
Finally, as the hotel lobby door opened, several people stepped out.
Seeing them, Mollya felt hope and desperately called for help.
But the next scene filled her with alarm and fear.
These people actually greeted the driver and all smiled maliciously at her, even whistling.
"This one’s nice, where did you get her?"
"Didn’t expect such a haul at night!"
"Really impressive, haven’t seen this kind of beauty in a while."
With a sinister grin, the driver said, "This is a golden bird, worth a lot of money!"
Listening to these words, Mollya trembled, feeling helpless.
Then she was dragged by these people into a dimly lit room in the back of the hotel and tied to a bed.
Mollya found that there were two other beds inside with two women in disheveled clothes tied up and motionless, except for breathing.
In the dim light, their eyes were open but lifeless.
Mouth stuffed, Mollya’s heart filled with fear, leaving her silently crying in complete despair.
Perhaps, it would have been better to be kidnapped by those three greedy people than to fall into these people’s hands.
Mollya heard the people outside discussing how to deal with her, their words making her shiver as if she had fallen into an abyss of despair.
For a long time, strange noises suddenly emerged from outside.
Then, several people walked in.
Just as Mollya was in despair, the lights came on, illuminating the room so brightly she shut her eyes.
When she opened her eyes, she found the white driver rolling his eyes and collapsing like noodles.
Those three Huaxia people appeared before her again.
But at this moment, Mollya felt an overwhelming sense of joy.
These people unexpectedly gave her a sense of security.
Bai Xiaosheng frowned, surveying everything in the room, walked up to Mollya, placed a bag beside her, and started to untie her.
"How many times do I have to say it for you to believe, Miss Mollya, we’re not the bad guys, but you ran headfirst into a den of them!"
