The second day after the agreement reached between the Maiyous side and Bai Xiaosheng’s side, in North America, Caroline did not go to the Group, but stayed at home, remaining in her study.

And yet not a single piece of news has come out?" Caroline asked.

Asking Bernice this was just casual discussion; Caroline doubtless already had her own judgment in mind.

"I think this is very normal. You can rest assured," Bernice said firmly.

"The cooperation between Oshan and the various great families has only just started to show results, and they immediately encounter this kind of incident, caused moreover by a newly appointed Chieftain.
