Chen Feiqiu was stopped by two imposing twin brothers guarding a suite. Despite his subordinate's protests, Chen Feiqiu remained nonchalant. The master of the suite emerged, silencing his guards and inviting Chen Feiqiu in. The host, a calm and distinguished man, apologized for the delay and offered Chen Feiqiu special tea from Huaxia.

Ascending the opulent Persian carpet, Chen Feiqiu paid no mind to the lavish surroundings. His gaze was fixed upon the coffee table situated near the floor-to-ceiling window, where a delicate white steam ascended from the tea, releasing a fragrant aroma that drifted into his senses.

After a couple of inhales, he expressed his delight, "This truly is Lan Tian Yu Ye; I am in for a splendid experience."

The man accompanying him chuckled and gestured for Chen Feiqiu to proceed, leading the way forward.

As Chen Feiqiu moved closer, he couldn't resist a lighthearted remark, "Mr. Wen Yu, the two gentlemen stationed outside your entrance are quite formidable. They possess a bearing that suggests military training, don't they?"

The man, identified as Wen Yu, responded with a smile, "They are indeed former special forces operatives. They have faced numerous battles and dispatched countless adversaries. Upon their honorable discharge, I extended an offer of employment."

"Aha, that explains it. They seem to exude an aura of lethal intent," Chen Feiqiu remarked with a laugh.

Engaging in conversation as they walked, the pair reached their destination and settled into seats opposite each other.

Wen Yu gracefully raised his hand, pouring a cup of tea for Chen Feiqiu before offering it to him. Chen Feiqiu accepted it with haste; their actions adhered strictly to traditional Huaxia etiquette.

Throughout their exchange thus far, they had conversed in the Huaxia language, a natural flow neither found unusual.

"I've heard whispers that securing an audience with Mr. Wen Yu is a fervent desire for many within the business world, yet they also deem it an endeavor of immense difficulty. This is attributed to your discreet nature and unpredictable schedule. Given your significant standing, even the media struggle to track your movements, making your whereabouts exceptionally elusive," Chen Feiqiu commented playfully.

"Are you not similarly inclined, Mr. Chen Feiqiu? I seldom see you in the public eye, and you have entirely eschewed publicity. However, I believe your ability to maintain such a low profile is even more challenging. It is truly admirable to remain so inconspicuous," Wen Yu replied.

"Consider our chosen names – unassuming, yet they provide us both with a sense of comfort. Is that not sufficient?"

Chen Feiqiu inquired with a grin, raising his teacup.

Wen Yu mirrored his action, raising his cup as well, and responded with a smile, "Indeed, that is quite sensible."

The two men opted to use tea as a substitute for wine, taking gentle sips that seemed to clear the mind.

"Exquisite tea," Chen Feiqiu exclaimed, clicking his tongue in appreciation before lifting his gaze to meet Wen Yu's. "To be candid, prior to my arrival, I found myself contemplating the caliber of individual required to occupy your position. Observing your demeanor and every interaction now, I am convinced that your ascent to such heights is entirely justified."

"You are too kind with your words," Wen Yu replied with a smile.

Chen Feiqiu placed his cup down, glanced out the window, and stretched languidly. "In terms of eloquence, deportment, and transactional prowess, I likely fall short when compared to you. I simply possess, as we say in Huaxia, the advantage of a commendable father. This year, he insisted I not remain idle and delegated certain responsibilities, affording me the opportunity to be here, sharing tea with Mr. Wen Yu. However, even the finest tea eventually vanishes. Ultimately, we must address substantive business matters, an aspect I readily admit is not my forte and often presents a considerable headache."

"Mr. Chen Feiqiu, you certainly possess a knack for self-deprecation," Wen Yu remarked mildly, his lips curving into a subtle smile. "Today, we may simply converse about tea, without delving into other matters if you prefer."

"And what of future meetings?" Chen Feiqiu inquired with a light chuckle.

"If you are amenable, we could forgo discussions of business entirely going forward and simply cultivate a friendship," Wen Yu proposed, his expression serene, as if all worldly concerns were as light as clouds and wind. "What do you think?"

Chen Feiqiu placed a hand to his forehead. "No business? And then we are finished? If that is the case, I fear I shall be in considerable trouble upon my return home!"

He lowered his hand and let out a laugh. "You are unlike other businessmen. With them, I might be able to evade serious conversation, but with you, I must engage!"

Wen Yu smiled and nodded in agreement. "Very well, let us then discuss business."

Chen Feiqiu studied him for a moment, then conceded with a hint of exasperation, "You truly are willing to engage in any conversation presented!"

"Yet, it is precisely that very temperament which proves most vexing for negotiators," he added.

Wen Yu smiled, not immediately responding. Instead, he picked up his teacup and took a delicate sip.

"When it comes to conducting business, I am truly incompetent. Compared to prodigies like yourself, my minor stratagems are woefully insufficient," Chen Feiqiu sighed. "Honestly, if it were feasible, I would have preferred to bring a companion to conduct this discussion. I believe he could ably spar with you in negotiations. I have immense confidence in his business acumen."

Upon hearing this, Wen Yu gently placed his cup down.

"Oh? Then why did you not bring him with you?"

"He is here, in fact, waiting in the main hall. However, what would be the purpose of bringing him into this discussion? He is, after all, associated with your group."

Chen Feiqiu's tone carried a hint of dejection.

"Oh, is that so!" A flicker of curiosity crossed Wen Yu’s face as he offered a smile. "He’s from our group? Someone here who’s acquainted with Mr. Chen Feiqiu, catches your eye, and also manages to get an invitation to Prince Hadu’s banquet. Could it be Mr. Brown is in attendance?"

Wen Yu maintained a low profile during his travels. Unlike those in the inspection department who prioritized gathering intelligence above all else, he wasn’t even aware of Brown’s current city, hence his inquiry.

Chen Feiqiu shook his head and suddenly brightened. Leaning forward, he inquired with a smile, "Ah yes, he was someone I wanted to ask you about. Your original surname was Bai, and you share the same surname. To add to that, you’re around the same age and both hold significant positions within your group. You must know each other, correct? Is there any connection between you two?"

Those words caused Wen Yu’s hand, which was holding a cup, to pause momentarily, his gaze intensifying.

"I don’t know. Mr. Chen Feiqiu, are you referring to—" Wen Yu asked, fixing his eyes on Chen Feiqiu.

"The Executive President of your group’s Greater China Region—Bai Xiaosheng." Chen Feiqiu stated plainly.

For the first time, Wen Yu’s expression shifted noticeably, his gaze darting. "It’s him!"

"That’s right, the Huaxia Business Group is present! He... was also invited!" Wen Yu murmured to herself.

"In Huaxia, individuals sharing the same surname often belong to the same clan. I’m curious, are you related to him?" Chen Feiqiu probed, his face alight with a gossipy eagerness.

Wen Yu remained silent for a beat, then simply uttered two words: "Not close."

This response left Chen Feiqiu somewhat disheartened. Yet, on second thought, it wasn't unusual in Huaxia for people with the same surname to have no familial connection; it was quite common.

The predicament was that he had inquired about their relationship, and she had answered regarding their relationship, but it wasn't the specific kind of

"Your friend?" Bai Xiaosheng was taken aback. "Do I know him?"

He didn't even know them, so how could he possibly have a feud with their friend?

The other man pointed a finger aggressively at Bai Xiaosheng, recalling, "Our friend is Cilio, you scoundrel. You nearly got him thrown in prison! Have you forgotten already? We won't let you off, you son of a bitch!"
