Immortality Through Array Formations Chapter 2025 Chapter 971: Godbreaking (Bonus Chapter for Alliance Hierarch Qchai)
Previously on Immortality Through Array Formations...
The vast hall overflowed with a devastating power of total annihilation.
For a fleeting second, Mo Hua witnessed the Heavenly Dao fracturing into obsidian laws as his telekinesis tore apart. His pupils mirrored the magnificent yet terrifying bloom of the "God Extinction" flower. However, that sight lasted only a heartbeat. Soon, the violent, surging backlash of Divine Thought flooded the chamber, consuming everything. Then, as quickly as it had erupted, the chaos vanished into the void, leaving no trace behind. Every aura had been extinguished.
Mo Hua calmed his racing heart and waited a beat before cautiously venturing back into the Divine Temple. He found that the already crumbling structure had been reduced to complete ruins by the series of brutal confrontations. Massive sections of the once-grand walls had been turned to dust. A staggering crater now marked the center of the floor. Aside from that, there was nothing; every existence had been wiped out, every soul obliterated.
The Evil Embryo was gone, and Lord Yellow Mountain had vanished with it. The Mountain God of Guhuang Mountain, a peak Third Grade powerhouse, had perished alongside the Evil Embryo in a final act of mutual destruction.
“The Mountain Lord is gone...” Mo Hua murmured, a wave of melancholy washing over him.
Suddenly, the threads of cause and effect began to vibrate. Startled, Mo Hua expanded his Divine Sense to probe the ruins once more, eventually spotting a faint, golden shimmer in the heart of the hall. As he drew closer, his eyes widened in shock. It was Divine Marrow—a strand of pure, golden Third Grade Divine Marrow!
“Mountain Lord?” Mo Hua whispered, sensing the essence and feeling a pang of regret. This was pure Divine Marrow, devoid of any lingering consciousness. The Mountain Lord was truly dead. This radiant golden essence seemed less like a remnant and more like a final "gift" left specifically for him.
This Third Grade Divine Marrow was of unparalleled quality, purer and more valuable than anything he had encountered before. Mo Hua could even sense within it the potential to break through to twenty patterns of Divine Sense. While he felt profound gratitude, he was also plagued by doubt. “If the Mountain Lord was this kind to me, does it mean... he has a request?”
Mo Hua thought back to the Mountain Lord’s final, fractured words: “If we truly are friends... take my... and leave Solitary Mountain.”
Take what? Was it this Divine Marrow? It was possible, but Mo Hua felt a nagging suspicion. Deep down, he sensed that Lord Yellow Mountain had intentionally left this Divine Marrow for him to consume. After all, such a treasure would be irresistible to any deity or quasi-deity; the Mountain Lord would have known it wouldn't be safe otherwise. Given the conflicted look on the Mountain Lord’s face at the end, it was obvious he had a much weightier task in mind—something so dangerous he hadn't even dared to say it out loud.
“What could it be?” Mo Hua wondered, his brow furrowed in concentration. As he pondered, the ceiling began to shed stones that dissolved into fragments of thought, and spiderweb cracks spread across the floor.
“This is bad...” Mo Hua realized that with the Evil Embryo’s demise, the nightmare realm was beginning to disintegrate. “Elder Xun!” He lunged forward to check on Elder Xun and the others, but a massive repulsive force slammed into him. Space itself fractured, creating a vortex of shifting reality and illusion that sucked Mo Hua in completely.
The Evil Embryo had been the anchor of this nightmare. With its death, the entire world began to fold in on itself, starting from the Divine Temple. Mo Hua was the first to be cast out. As he disappeared, the dreamscape continued its steady collapse.
In a forgotten corner of the hall, unnoticed by anyone, lay half a dragon bone. A lingering trace of Divine Thought disintegration was slowly eating away at it, while the bone’s own dragon energy fought back against the destruction. Suddenly, the bone twitched, and a cloudy, ancient eye appeared—the eye of the Second Elder. He stared intently at the spot where Mo Hua had vanished and whispered a single name: “Mo Hua...”
Then, the dragon aura faded, and the bone crumbled into nothingness. However, just before the marrow was lost, the dreamland gave way, and the last shred of the Second Elder’s consciousness—which had been parasitic within the bone—slipped out of the nightmare, drifting toward an unknown fate.

The moment the Evil Embryo died, the dark, suffocating fog of karmic causality began to lift. The Old Ancestor of the Shen Family, who was deep in Cultivation, suddenly snapped his eyes open. He gripped his chest, his heart pounding with a sudden, inexplicable dread.
“What has occurred?” The Old Ancestor frowned, performing a rapid calculation with his fingers. His face paled instantly. “Someone! Come here at once!”
A trusted elder of the Shen Family hurried in and bowed. “Old Ancestor.”
“Quickly,” the Old Ancestor commanded, his voice shaking. “Go to Solitary Mountain and wipe out the karma!”
The elder hesitated, whispering, “Old Ancestor, such a move will be too conspicuous. It might draw the attention of the other families...”
“It doesn’t matter! Move!” the Old Ancestor barked. “Send every available man. Use fire arts, fire talismans, and fire formations. Burn everything to the ground!”
The elder was chilled to the bone; he had never seen the Old Ancestor lose his composure like this. He realized the situation was far more dire than he had imagined. “Understood!” he replied, bowing before rushing out.
The Old Ancestor of the Shen Family sat slumped, his mind racing with anxiety. “How could it have been exposed? And where did that ancient evil Qi come from? Who... who could have possibly deceived me?”

At the same moment the Shen Family Ancestor realized the truth, a shift occurred at the Taixu Gate’s Elder Residence. Elder Master Xun, who had been busy recording data from a compass, felt a sudden jolt. He reset his calculations and directed his focus toward Solitary Mountain. His expression sharpened, and he immediately dispatched a sword talisman. Soon after, Xun Zixian arrived.
“Old Ancestor,” Xun Zixian said respectfully.
Elder Master Xun spoke with gravity: “There is no time to waste. Take the Sect Elders and head to Solitary Mountain immediately.”
“Solitary Mountain?”
“A massive karma has surfaced there,” Elder Master Xun explained. “Furthermore... Mo Hua is currently at that location.”
Xun Zixian’s heart skipped a beat. He nodded firmly. “I’m on my way!”

It wasn't just the Qian Taoist Sect and Taixu Gate. Ancestors from various great families and powerful Sects began to sense the disturbance. Undercurrents began to churn across the land.
“Something is happening in the northwest...”“Is that Shen Family territory?”“Dispatch scouts... but keep it quiet.”“Gather every piece of information you can.”“That old fox Shen finally made a mistake...”“See if we can secure some evidence against them.”“If you play with fire, you eventually get burned... see if there’s a way to profit from this mess.”
Orders flew from the highest levels of power. Groups of cultivators began moving toward Solitary Mountain, some openly and others hidden in the shadows. The winds of change were blowing.

Back within the Divine Temple of Solitary Mountain, Mo Hua stirred. He felt groggy and his vision was blurred. A faint ringing in his ears was drowned out by a low muttering and the wet sound of a blade cutting through meat.
“Royal lineage of the Great Wilderness...”“...nothing special in the end... just a puppet for the Divine Lord, a high-grade servant...”“Your bloodline is your only worth.”“...the royal blood is the catalyst for the Karma Dragon of the Great Wilderness.”“Now that the Dragon Pattern is complete, it shall find a new master. As for you... you are unworthy. Let your pride be buried here at the foot of Solitary Mountain.”
The voice was guttural and animalistic, barely human. Mo Hua forced his eyes to focus, eventually making out a gruesome scene. A pale, distorted demon was systematically skinning Shen Tuao. It was a blood-soaked sight. But even more terrifying was the blood-red phantom of a human head floating above the demon. The face was refined but twisted with a hint of insanity and cruelty.
Though Mo Hua had never met him, the weight of karma told him exactly who this was: Mr. Tu! This pale creature was Mr. Tu’s flesh-and-blood puppet.
As Mo Hua’s consciousness returned, the entity parasitic within the demon sensed him. Holding a ritual knife in one hand and a strip of flesh in the other, it turned its head with a sinister jerk. Its eyes were wide with disbelief.
“You... you’re alive?”“That can’t be... you entered the Divine Lord’s nightmare. You shouldn't have survived, let alone escaped...”
Mr. Tu seemed to check something internally, and his face suddenly contorted with pure horror. “Where is the Divine Lord? My master... why is his presence gone?!”
His gaze turned murderous as he glared at Mo Hua, screaming, “What did you do? Answer me! Where is my master’s Divine Fetus? Why has it vanished?!”
