Ice Age Apocalypse: I Hoard Billions of Supplies Chapter 1564: Give Me Zong Yue Some Face

Zhang Yi was collecting the Elemental Ore Vein in Wuyou Valley without the slightest restraint.
This time, he was fully justified, so he held nothing back, practically wishing he could drain the Elemental Ore Vein of Wuyou Valley completely dry.
Of course, the entire vein was far too massive, and it stretched deep into the earth, so there was no way to clear it all out in a short time.
But even so, this alone was at least equivalent to ten years' worth of mining output from the entire engineering crew!
It was impossible to estimate just how much damage this would cause Shengjing, but it was definitely going to be a horrifying astronomical figure.
Qin Qigong was as anxious as an ant on a hot skillet. He had no choice but to make multiple calls through the night, reaching out to bring in reinforcements.
And so, very quickly, while Zhang Yi was collecting the Elemental Ore Vein, he began receiving communication requests from many familiar faces.
East China Sea Major Region, Jiangnan Region, Southwest Region, Northwest Region, Northeast Region!
Throughout the entire Huaxu Nation, just about everyone who had some connection with Zhang Yi and could still get a word in with him had been called in by Qin Qigong.
As for these communication requests, Zhang Yi adopted only one stance, rejection!Once a conversation started, it could bring a turning point to this matter.
But right now, what Zhang Yi needed was not a turning point!
He only needed to seize more of the Elemental Ore Vein and make the people of the Shengjing District feel the pain, nothing more!
"RUMBLE—"
The thunderous roar from deep within Wuyou Valley was like peals of lightning. All around Wuyou Valley, no one could sleep tonight.
The tremendous commotion was like an earthquake. They were even seriously worried that this abyss might collapse entirely.
The Dragon's Roar Guards had sealed the area off in an airtight perimeter, but these, the most powerful military force in Shengjing, all wore expressions of pessimism and despair on their faces right now.
All they could do at this moment was put on a show of bravado.
But deep down, they knew that against an existence on Zhang Yi's level, no matter how many of them there were, charging in would only end with them being instantly annihilated!
"If this keeps up, I'm starting to suspect he'll drain the entire Wuyou Valley dry!"
"Is this what a space-type Epsilon-class Transcendent is capable of?"
And just as they were on the verge of despair, the roar of an engine suddenly sounded from the sky above.
"WHIRRRR—"
A massive armed helicopter flew in from the distance, its enormous searchlight cutting through the night.
With such a huge commotion being stirred up, the Lord Warden of Wuyou Valley, Zhen Yuanzi, Zong Yue, could finally no longer sit idly by.
"It's the Lord Warden, he's here!"
The Dragon's Roar Guards recognized that as Zong Yue's personal aircraft, and excitement lit up their faces one after another, as if they had seen a savior.
They had no idea just how strong Zhang Yi truly was.
To them, Epsilon-class was just four letters. So, with Zong Yue, who was equally in the Epsilon domain and as formidable as a god, arriving, they believed he would definitely be able to stop Zhang Yi!
"With Lord Zong Yue himself taking action, and with us elite Dragon's Roar Guards providing support from the flanks, that Chaos from the Jiangnan Region will definitely pay a heavy price for his reckless behavior!"
Some of the younger Dragon's Roar Guards clenched their fists and said with fierce eyes.
Up in the sky, the door of the armed helicopter was shoved open by a large hand.
Zong Yue poked his head out, looking down at the enormous abyss below, his brow deeply furrowed.
Unlike these blind Dragon's Roar Guards, he had personally witnessed Zhang Yi's strength.
Even for him, defeating Zhang Yi head-on was no easy task. The dual attributes of space and time were simply too absurd.
Even if he himself couldn't be defeated, breaking through Zhang Yi's defenses was equally difficult. So if he took action today, the best outcome would be a draw.
"Chaos, you shouldn't have stirred things up this much!"
Zong Yue let out a sigh.
This is my territory, after all. If you have a grudge, go take it out on Marshal Qin. But since you've already come here, if I don't make a move, wouldn't that be dereliction of duty?
Thinking this to himself, Zong Yue leaped out of the helicopter's cabin door, plummeting straight down toward the bottomless abyss.
Zhang Yi was collecting the Elemental Ore Vein. The rock walls were sliced open by spatial force, and massive chunks of ore flew directly toward his Dimensional Gate.
Each single chunk was at least several million cubic meters in volume!
At that moment, Zhang Yi's brow suddenly twitched.
His sensitivity to space told him someone was approaching.
"Did the Shengjing District send someone? If I'm not mistaken, the one coming must be the Lord Warden, Zong Yue. Am I right?"
Zhang Yi looked up toward the sky above.
Sure enough, a giant shrouded in yellow supernatural energy descended from above, and from the rock walls extended massive stone pillars that served as his footholds.
The rule-type Houtu never left Shengjing, and the Ksitigarbha King had to guard both Houtu and Shengjing's safety.
So, only Zong Yue could come to "persuade" Zhang Yi to leave.
Zhang Yi stopped what he was doing and looked at Zong Yue. "Fight?"
Zong Yue's body came to a halt on the stone platform mid-air, and that single word "fight" made his brow furrow sharply.
Simple and direct, clearly indicating he didn't want any more pointless talk.
Zong Yue said in a deep voice, "Chaos, we can talk about this! We're both pillars of the Huaxu Nation. There's no need to blow things up this big over some misunderstanding!"
A slight smile curled at the corner of Zhang Yi's mouth.
"Can you represent the Shengjing District?"
Zong Yue fell into silence.
Of course, he didn't have that qualification.
Zhang Yi smiled. "Since that's the case, either we fight, or you leave!"
He squeezed his fist, producing a series of "crack crack" sounds, though, to be fair, he'd never actually used his fists in combat before.
"But as the Lord Warden of Wuyou Valley, you probably have no choice but to fight this battle. Isn't that right?"
Zong Yue let out a long sigh.
"Does it really have to come to this?"
He spread his large hand. "Chaos, I know you're formidable! But don't think I'm afraid of you. I just don't want things to escalate into bloodshed between us!"
Zhang Yi gave Zong Yue a cold look.
"Zhen Yuanzi, how long has it been since we last met?"
Zong Yue frowned. "From the last time we met until now, it's been over half a year."
"So do you think that half a year ago, our strength was about equal. And now, it's still the same as back then?"
Zong Yue's brow furrowed even deeper.
"I heard you've been roaming around out there. Looks like you've managed to improve your strength somewhat as well. But don't you forget one thing!"
He spread open his right hand, and within the enormous palm formed by his supernatural power, a massive sphere of energy began to condense.
The terrifying power contained within the sphere made Zong Yue look at Zhang Yi with a hint of pride in his eyes.
"I am one of the cornerstones of the Shengjing District! Behind me, I have the resources of all of Shengjing supporting my growth. And you? You're a lone wolf!"
Zhang Yi smiled.
"Half a year apart, your strength has indeed improved quite a bit. Let me guess, your current power level is around 17,000 points?"
Zong Yue smiled faintly. "Sorry to disappoint, 17,500 points! A bit more than your guess. Just a tiny bit!"
Zhang Yi nodded.
"Indeed, just a tiny bit. So to me, that doesn't matter at all."
He raised his head, aiming at the giant shrouded in dense supernatural energy ahead of him, and slowly raised two fingers of his right hand.
"I don't really care either."
The very next moment, Zong Yue's expression changed drastically!
