Deng Shentong planned to send Amber back to Blizzard City first, while he would continue on to Ice Flower Swamp to campaign against Wandering Phantom.
Amber turned her head to look at Deng Shentong. Her eyes were large, with deep, amber-colored pupils.
After thinking for a moment, she suddenly said in a cold, clear voice, "I can take you there."
Deng Shentong looked at her with some surprise.
"Aren't you afraid?"
Amber said calmly, "I'm not afraid. Because no one will hurt me."
As she said this, she suddenly smiled sweetly. That smile was warm like sunshine, shining into Deng Shentong's heart.
It made his restless heart, that of a wanderer, tremble for the first time in a long while.
After she finished eating, Deng Shentong wrapped an arm around her waist and lifted her onto the back seat of the Snowland Iron Wolf.
Then he helped Amber put on her helmet and said to her, "Hold on tight! The wind and snow are heavy. Be careful not to get blown off!"Hearing this, Amber wrapped both arms tightly around his sturdy waist.
The Snowland Iron Wolf started up, and the intelligent system automatically connected to the Nebula Satellite System for navigation, marking the location of Ice Flower Swamp, then set off in that direction.
Half a day later, they arrived at Ice Flower Swamp.
Even from a distance, they could see something was wrong here.
No snowflakes fell on the ground. The entire earth was a single crystalline sheet of ice.
Chaotic snowflakes danced in the air, covering an area of several dozen square kilometers ahead.
A Deputy Captain-level ice-type Transcendent could pull this off too, so Deng Shentong didn't find it particularly remarkable.
He didn't recklessly drive the motorcycle into it. Instead, he got off the vehicle, and Amber jumped down after him.

Deng Shentong pressed his hand on his sword and walked step by step into Ice Flower Swamp. Amber followed closely at his side.
The enormous frozen swamp was as flat as a mirror.
Their footsteps echoed across the ice, one after another, while beneath the thick ice sheet, a pair of massive eyes coldly opened and swept over the two tiny humans on the surface.
Soon, one pair after another of enormous eyes lit up in the dark swamp.
The icy lake water surged beneath the ice, and huge, terrifying figures moved silently toward the area where the two stood.
Deng Shentong seemed completely unaware, still pressing his hand on his sword and advancing forward.
The road ahead was obscured by the blizzard, but the Nebula System high above pointed out the best path for him.
They walked for what felt like a long time until suddenly, Amber stopped.
Deng Shentong took a few more steps before turning back to look at her.
Amber had her hands in the pockets of her combat suit, half her face hidden beneath her hood, just quietly watching him.
"You're not the first Blizzard City soldier to come here. Everyone who came before you is dead."
"I warned you, but you wouldn't listen. Don't blame me for this."
Deng Shentong smiled curiously. "Of course I won't blame you. I came here on my own."
Amber stepped back, one step at a time.
Suddenly, the thick ice between her and Deng Shentong exploded with a thunderous crash!
"BOOM!!!"
The ice, more than ten meters thick, was shattered from below in an instant. Huge chunks of ice, like boulders, came crashing down toward Deng Shentong!
Deng Shentong's gaze was cold as he watched it all unfold. He stretched out his left hand, and a white radiance began to shine from him as the center.
[Hymn of Light] formed a massive protective barrier, enveloping his entire body, and the giant chunks of ice were all deflected.
But the next moment, the ground beneath Deng Shentong suddenly collapsed.
His gaze dropped slightly, and he saw a massive shadow appear beneath him on the ice, covering the entire area under his feet!

The thick ice split apart like glass, and beneath Deng Shentong's feet appeared an enormous maw, filled with hideous, barbed teeth, rushing up at him like a terrifying abyss!
"CRUNCH!"
A hideous, elongated giant mouth snapped shut in midair, over ten meters long. Its thick, brown skin, like armor, sent a chill of primal fear through anyone who saw it!
Not far away, Amber watched this scene unfold, her expression devoid of much emotion.
"I warned you."
"Too bad you were too confident in your own strength. Anyway, you were going to die sooner or later. Might as well do me a favor."
The enormous monster's body slowly sank back down, and now its appearance could be vaguely made out.
It turned out to be a giant crocodile over thirty meters long!
And all around it, massive shadows already covered an area of hundreds of meters. Clearly, this kind of monster wasn't alone.
Amber stood still, unafraid that they would attack her, and the crocodiles showed no sign of going after her either.
Amber took a deep breath, silently mourning the handsome man she'd only met once.
But just as she was about to head to the center of Ice Flower Swamp to report to Wandering Phantom and apologize for the failure, a sharp white light shot up from beneath the ice!
"SPLAT!"
Ice mixed with towering waves of water and a rain of blood surged into the sky!
Deng Shentong, who had just been swallowed by the giant crocodile, was now covered in a holy white light as he slowly descended to the ice. He looked down at the crocodile swarm in the Ice Flower Swamp beneath his feet, with not a trace of fear in his eyes.

The corpse of the dead giant crocodile was soon torn apart by the others in a feeding frenzy, but more of them chose to break through the ice and attack Deng Shentong.

Huge jaws lunged at Deng Shentong from all directions. Monsters dozens of meters long, like prehistoric horrors, crawled out of the ice holes, racing toward him on all fours!

The mutated giant crocodiles, as massive as small hills, lay piled on top of each other, their flesh mangled beyond recognition. The ice and swamp beneath her feet were already soaked a vivid red with blood!
