Zhang Yi and his allies completed their assault on the Demon Kingdom, eradicating its forces. After securing valuable documents and artifacts, Zhang Yi used his dimensional powers to transport the kingdom's temple into his dimensional space. They then descended into the Demon Abyss, entering a strange new world shrouded in fog. Upon the mist clearing, they were greeted by a lone figure, a supposed ally from the past, who claimed to be sent by Gao Changkong to welcome them.

The Martial Arena, an entity once shrouded in mystery within the Jiangnan Region, was actually named Batu. His spatial abilities allowed him to manipulate the size and scope of space, granting him a degree of control over it. Consequently, during his time in Blizzard City, he was appointed as the supervisor for the training grounds.

Later, Batu encountered Gao Changkong. For Gao Changkong, persuading a disheartened superhuman to join him was hardly a challenge. Batu, after all, was merely a logistics staff member, whereas Gao Changkong could offer him a more promising future.

Eventually, after departing the Jiangnan Region with Gao Changkong and his group, Batu journeyed to Bharata and became a part of Gao Changkong’s Garuda’s Followers. Within this organization, his current codename was Tushita Heaven. Therefore, despite Zhang Yi never having met Batu face-to-face, the latter was quite familiar with him.

"You're waiting for me here—what do you want? You'd best provide a satisfactory explanation, or else—" Zhang Yi narrowed his eyes, a cold sneer playing on his lips. Anyone present at this moment was deemed a competitor, and he had no intention of showing courtesy.

Batu quickly raised his hands in a placating gesture. "No, no, no, listen, Zhang Yi, we're practically old acquaintances. You might not have seen my face, but I'm quite familiar with you."

"Ah, yes, and I am also very familiar with your abilities! After all, we're both rare spatial types, aren't we?" He flashed a grin. "Furthermore, you fought within my domain when you were a data analyst—I thoroughly studied your data!"

Zhang Yi raised an eyebrow, scoffing. "If you were truly that formidable, how did Gao Changkong end up defeated by me back then?"

Batu tilted his head. "Defeated? One could say that. However, he was thwarted by your stratagems, not outmatched by your strength."

"You talk too much." Zhang Yi had no desire to exchange more words with this individual. The long sword in his hand was poised to strike.

Abruptly, a peculiar grin spread across Batu's lips. With a flick of his thumb, a die he held spun through the air, heading directly towards Zhang Yi and the others. As it reached the space above them, the die inexplicably expanded to the size of a building, descending upon them with immense force!

It was only then that Zhang Yi and his companions understood why he had been idly manipulating those dice. They were weapons compressed and weaponized by his spatial ability.

"How tedious," Zhang Yi stated flatly. Before he could even react, Liang Yue had already launched herself into the air with the agility of a cheetah. Facing the colossal die, she executed a maneuver that appeared as insignificant as an ant attempting to topple a tree, striking it with full force!

Yet, this seemingly disproportionate counterattack sent the gigantic die hurtling back, crashing "BOOM!!" into the ground nearby. The earth instantly caved in, and the massive die came to a halt in the distance, resembling a small hill.

"Die." Zhang Yi had no further words. Since the opponent had initiated the attack, there was no reason to spare his life. The long sword shot forward, and a Void Blade swept horizontally.

However, that potent force passed through Batu’s body as if slicing through empty air. His form flickered momentarily before solidifying once more. He grinned and raised his hand again, pointing towards the sky. "There’s more than one die, you know!"

Zhang Yi felt a flicker of surprise. His Mind Domain could keenly sense spatial fluctuations around him. If Batu had unleashed two dice, it would have been impossible for it to escape his perception.

But in the next instant, Fatty Xu and the others cried out in alarm. Zhang Yi glanced upwards, and the spectacle that greeted him caused his brows to furrow instantly. Hovering directly above them, the sky was consumed by a colossal ghost face. The entire expanse of the sky was dominated by a ghostly, die-shaped visage.

Zhang Yi raised his blade to strike, but the ghost face immediately enveloped their entire world. His vision was abruptly plunged into darkness, and the reality surrounding Zhang Yi and the others transformed completely. Batu had vanished. In place of the familiar blue sky, white clouds, and green grass, they now found themselves within a dim, derelict room.

There was no discernible light source, yet the surroundings were dimly visible. It appeared to be a hospital room—two rusted hospital beds stood within the space, and the window was draped with a white curtain. Zhang Yi looked towards the door, observing a long, narrow, dark hallway with faint outlines of other doors. A chilling, terrifying aura permeated the atmosphere. The entire environment felt like an abandoned hospital wing.

"What… what is this place? Why are we here?" Fatty Xu inquired nervously, unsettled by the eerie transition. Chodak and the dozens of elite superhumans from the Pagyi Family positioned behind him tightened their grips on their weapons, standing vigilant guard for Zhang Yi. They refrained from acting rashly; prior to their departure, Pagyi Gesang had instructed them to comply with Zhang Yi in all matters. Even if he commanded them to perish.

Strangely enough, despite the presence of dozens of individuals within their group, the room did not feel the least bit cramped. Zhang Yi stepped towards the window and drew back the white curtain.
