Suolang Deji dispatched Chodak of the Pagyi Family as the first fighter in the wheel battle to probe the opponents. La Min Ouzhu sent her loyal subordinate Gele, a mighty shepherd, promising him noble status for honorable combat or death. Transforming into Fierce-Eyed Vajra and Eight-Armed Vajra, the two giants charged across the snowy plain and collided with earth-shaking force.

Chodak and Gele stood as reinforcement-type superhumans excelling in close-quarters combat. The tough traditions from the Snowy Plateau Region likely shaped them, pushing the local men toward savage hand-to-hand fights.

The pair crashed together, instantly unleashing a wild barrage of punches!

The deafening clashes caused spectators a full kilometer away to feel their hearts thumping wildly.

Transformed into the Eight-Armed Vajra, Gele exploited his extra limbs to brutally target Chodak's weak spots.

Yet Chodak relied on his battle-hardened instincts to evade strikes at his critical areas.

His metallic skin boasted incredible natural defense. Hits elsewhere that drew blood counted as nothing more than scratches, provided his vitals stayed safe.

The Fierce-Eyed Vajra hit peak strength when fury boiled over completely.

And spotting his own blood only fueled Chodak's attacks to greater savagery!

His jet-black arms whipped around like a pair of steel beams, knuckles resembling copper sledgehammers, pounding ferociously at Gele's skull!

One blow ripped through the atmosphere with a deafening sonic blast!

Gele rapidly folded two arms across his face for protection, as his remaining six kept up the furious barrage.

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Explosive thunder reverberated over the battlefield. Despite their enormous builds, the fighters moved with astonishing speed and grace, far from lumbering.

Zhang Yi even activated his spatial acceleration skill to boost his dynamic vision and follow their motions.

Once he could finally make out the duelists clearly, Zhang Yi drew in a sharp, icy gasp.

Right from the start, both warriors went all-out without mercy. This was a desperate battle to the death!

Gele's blades chopped and sliced mercilessly at Chodak's frame.

At the same time, crimson flames blazed in Chodak's gaze. He sidestepped only the blows at his vitals, while his dual fists crashed down like iron mallets straight for Gele's head and torso!

Fist-meets-flesh thuds filled the air, mixed with the fighters' savage bellows, draining color from many private soldiers' faces.

Leaders from both clans stared intently at the battlefield's heart, mutely urging their champion to end the foe quickly.

After watching a bit, Zhang Yi realized Chodak teetered on the edge.

Chodak surpassed in sheer might.

Still, facing eight arms against his two, his strikes faced constant interruption.

Meanwhile, blocking the enemy's flood of attacks proved nearly impossible for him.

"That guy is quite clever," Zhang Yi remarked coolly.

Liang Yue glanced at Zhang Yi. "Just petty cleverness."

"Oh?" Zhang Yi eyed her with interest.

Liang Yue clarified, "Why do humans come with two arms? Wouldn't extra arms simplify tasks? Not only humans—lions, tigers, elk, horses all stick to four limbs."

"Extra limbs don't always mean improvement. Nature granted four limbs as the ideal balance."

Zhang Yi nodded, scrutinizing Gele's style more closely, and spotted the awkward coordination in his motions.

Eight arms prevented full-power swings from every one at once. Worse, they hindered each other and scattered his strength.

Zhang Yi smiled lightly. "It is indeed petty cleverness."

But he quickly erased the grin. "However, petty cleverness can still prove very effective!"

Gele knew his power inside out, fully aware his eight arms couldn't all unleash maximum force.

Thus, he smartly paired main and support limbs. His original two grappled Chodak head-on, absorbing the raging punches.

The extra ones struck slyly from odd angles, carving cuts across Chodak's body.

Chodak's frame rivaled iron in toughness, but flaws existed.

Gele zeroed in on Chodak's groin area.

It looked low-down, but in real fights, anything goes to slay the enemy.

Even Liang Yue's martial arts lessons for Zhang Yi included plenty of low-body kill strikes.

Unpleasant to hear, yet devastatingly practical.

Chodak's expression turned stormy at once.

For any male, that spot marked the ultimate weakness. A solid hit there, even not too hard, could cripple his combat ability instantly.

"Bastard!" Chodak bellowed in rage.

He slammed both feet into the earth, vaulting back to widen the gap from Gele.

Gele refused to allow space, lunging forward while his eight blades slashed down at Chodak's head!

Explosions crackled in the air. Liang Yue shook her head repeatedly from the sidelines.

Zhang Yi got it. To this martial expert, their brawl showed zero real skill.

Pure muscle and a handful of quick-learned tricks.

They paled against Liang Yue's disciplined mastery, and lagged behind even Zhang Yi under her guidance.

Enhancement-type superhuman clashes turned savage, packed with primal fury.

Before long, wounds marred both fighters.

Gele's weapons had gashed Chodak's body deeply in places, shallowly in others, with blood pouring and steam rising from the cuts.

Every injury ramped up the red glow in his eyes.

Gele suffered too, though. His power couldn't match Chodak's. A direct head punch had pulped the left side of his face, nearly destroying one eye.

His chest caved in a bit from the impacts, indented by an inch or so!

The duel dripped blood and brutality. As enhancement-types, their strength and toughness made killing each other a grueling ordeal.

The savage struggle dragged on for scores of minutes.

Blood soaked Chodak entirely, two snapped swords lodged in his flesh.

Gele looked equally wrecked, hacking up gouts of blood that trailed down his beard and drenched his garb.

Pagyi Gesang beheld the sight, shut his eyes, and quietly spun his sandalwood beads.

La Min Ouzhu kept a stoic face opposite, but her skin grew even paler.

At this rate, both warriors faced certain death.

Yet neither faction dared halt it.

Calling stop meant yielding!

Amid the gore-soaked spectacle, Zhang Yi folded his arms, pivoting calmly to the praying Pagyi Gesang.

"They can't keep going. If this continues, they'll both die. What happens if you call for a stop?"

Pagyi Gesang's eyes snapped open at the words, blurting, "Impossible! If we call for a stop, the honor of my Pagyi Family will be sullied. Chodak would never accept the humiliation of defeat either."

Zhang Yi snapped back irritably, "Will it affect the overall outcome of the battle?"

Pagyi Gesang froze briefly.

Then it hit him: Chodak and Gele both hovered near collapse.

No matter the winner here, the survivor would fall in the following bout.

This was a war of endurance, after all.

Conceding this round wouldn't tip the larger conflict much.

"But, if we call for a stop and the other side forces that near-dead guy to keep fighting, and he manages to injure our next man in a final desperate act, wouldn't we suffer a huge loss?" Pagyi Gesang countered through clenched teeth, refusing to yield.
