Liang Yue and Mu Yan watched as Chodak brutally dominated Drolma in combat, his overwhelming power shattering the battlefield and killing over a hundred serfs caught in the shockwaves. Terrified serfs cursed the resistance army for disrupting their lives. Liang Yue decided to aid the resistance, hacking Drolma's suit to offer help in exchange for rescuing imprisoned women, with Mu Yan agreeing to guide the effort while concealing their identities. Drolma accepted, prompting Liang Yue to prepare her intervention.

As Drolma neared total breakdown, Chodak's smile became ever more vicious.

The Fierce-Eyed Vajra's furious look, paired with the savage smirk on his mouth, radiated a malevolent vibe that chilled the blood of all onlookers.

Yet abruptly, Chodak's lifted fist halted mid-air, sensing a piercing stare landing on him.

Someone empowered like him possessed acute awareness of his surroundings.

Particularly when a superior expert emerged without hiding their aura, it burned like a fierce fire at the edge of his detection field, utterly unavoidable.

"Hmm?"

Chodak whipped his head around in bewilderment, spotting a woman in full combat gear nearby, gripping a drawn vajra pestle in her right hand, watching him wordlessly.

"Reinforcements?"

Chodak muttered the term, his eyes lighting up with greater thrill.

Still, he ignored Liang Yue completely. He spun back and unleashed a brutal punch right at Drolma before him!

He aimed to slay this woman first!

Drolma desperately twisted aside, but the shockwave hurled her flying back, almost toppling her on the icy terrain.

A voice rang in her ears.

"Do not resist."

Drolma naturally dropped her defenses, her form sinking into a ground shadow patch.

Before Chodak could respond, Liang Yue dashed up from behind, vajra pestle ready!

Boom!!

Two mighty enhancement-type empowered beings collided fiercely.

Liang Yue's power exceeded Chodak's, particularly her superior skills that utterly dominated him.

But this time, Liang Yue sought merely to delay. Killing the Pagyi Family's private soldier leader outright would spiral matters out of hand.

Plus, hiding her identity meant she held back her full might on purpose.

Even then, after clashing briefly, terror gripped Chodak's heart!

In the whole Snowy Plateau Region, enhancement-type empowered at such elite levels numbered barely a handful, and he knew each one's identity.

Among them, none matched this fighting style.

Still, the foe wielded the secret sect's punches, kicks, and vajra pestle, leaving him baffled about this hidden powerhouse's origins.

"Who exactly are you? Why are you helping those rebels! Could it be that you are a new member who joined the resistance army?"

Chodak bellowed, wild grin persisting.

Liang Yue offered no reply, merely whipping her vajra pestle to parry Chodak's mad, crushing blows!

Too feeble.

Liang Yue mused inwardly.

To her, Chodak—with his raw, barbaric power and crude, sloppy moves—appeared pathetically frail.

Yet across Huaxu Kingdom, scant few rivaled her skill mastery.

In these times, true martial prowess had waned, reduced mostly to showy displays.

Chodak seemed a combat virtuoso to common folk, but paled utterly against Liang Yue, training since age three.

No matter Chodak's savage onslaughts—wrecking the serf camp into debris—his strikes, failing to touch Liang Yue, wasted force on lifeless targets.

It appeared daunting, yet amounted to futile effort.

The longer Chodak battled, the more shocked he grew, until icy sweat beaded on his brow.

This enigmatic foe was overwhelmingly powerful, never unleashing a devastating strike throughout.

But she anticipated each assault precisely, dodging with minimal effort to foil his hits.

Like an adult playing with a helpless kid.

"You... who exactly are you?"

Chodak's tone shifted faintly, "When did someone like you appear on the Snowy Plateau?"

Liang Yue stayed utterly silent, lips sealed tight.

Internally, she felt a touch of anxiety now. Concealing herself required precise power control, especially hiding her signature martial techniques.

Thus, Liang Yue pinned Chodak down relentlessly.

Meanwhile, Mu Yan guided Drolma and fellow resistance fighters to the women's holding yard.

Most private soldiers had rushed to the front. The stragglers fell easily.

Drolma's group pried open the cellar. A nauseating stench erupted, but they braved it and descended.

Drolma scanned the throng urgently. Quickly, her eyes fixed on two long-braided women amid the straw, gazes vacant.

She bolted over, snapped the cell's steel bars, and clutched them close.

Mu Yan urged, "Take the people and leave quickly! Any later, and their men might discover you're here."

Drolma secured the two girls at her sides and told Mu Yan, "Thank you. We'll leave immediately!"

Other resistance members grabbed a few women too, departing with Mu Yan.

Mu Yan's brow furrowed lightly, but she held her tongue, using shadows to whisk them distant.

Simultaneously, she signaled Liang Yue: mission accomplished, captives secured.

"Don't drag it out too long, to avoid unnecessary trouble."

"Understood."

Liang Yue relaxed a fraction. She kept deftly dodging and countering the raging Chodak.

Whatever mighty blasts Chodak threw, she bobbed like a storm-tossed craft—tossing wildly, yet staying steady.

Minutes later, Mu Yan reported all safe at a secure spot.

Then Liang Yue chose to break off and retreat.

Plan called for evading pursuit first, linking with Mu Yan, then shadow-hiding back to Pagyi Family grounds undetected.

Yet escape wouldn't prove simple.

Chodak's crew would chase doggedly.

With that in mind, Liang Yue scowled at Chodak.

Though masked in darkness, Chodak sensed deadly peril for the first time.

"Hah!!"

He hoisted both fists skyward, smashing savagely at Liang Yue ahead.

Liang Yue ghost-stepped aside, slipping his devastating fist gale.

She swung her vajra pestle upward, thrusting dead at Chodak's chest!

"Pfft!"

The pestle's point stabbed into Chodak's torso. His indestructible frame shattered from the impact.

Chodak's vigor ebbed away. With such a keen tool embedded in his chest, scarce few could budge.

Liang Yue yanked the vajra pestle free. Chodak crumpled kneeling instantly.

Despair flooded him. The foe's might crushed all hopes of triumph.

He braced for death.

But then, the shadow warrior pivoted and soared off like a fleeing eagle.

A few bounds later, she faded from view.
