Lu Keran showcased the completed [Hidden Dragon] exoskeleton armor to Zhang Yi, highlighting its Yi Metal construction that offers defense against Tomahawk missiles and matches a superhuman's 9500-point reinforcement ability. The suit's scale-like plating ensures fluid movement like everyday clothing, with added short-duration high-speed flight capabilities tailored to Zhang Yi's needs. Donning the armor, which felt like a weighted tracksuit, Zhang Yi tested it outdoors, achieving supersonic flight and seamless swordplay, declaring it utterly perfect for his style.

The Hidden Dragon armor was put through its paces by Zhang Yi, yielding results that thrilled him to no end.

With the exoskeleton's support, his power and agility got a massive upgrade in hand-to-hand fights.

By Zhang Yi's calculations, this armor's enhancement bumped his superhuman stats up by no less than 500 points.

It didn't look like a huge jump at first glance, yet it proved vital, boosting his chances of survival and handing him a solid ace up his sleeve.

For instance, in a brutal clash where both sides were gasping for breath, totally drained, this armor let him unleash squad leader-tier fighting prowess briefly.

It shone in dire situations, and for everyday use, it acted like an ultra-boosted battle outfit, just ideal.

Gripping Holy Judgment, Zhang Yi dashed over the Egret River. He swung his right arm ahead, no superhuman powers involved, just the mech's raw force combined with Holy Judgment's razor edge, slicing a gash half a meter deep and stretching hundreds of meters across the frozen surface!

"Really good."

Zhang Yi touched down beside the Egret River, beaming with delight at his fresh gear as he nodded approvingly.

"Ribbit!"

Frog burst through the ice from underneath, poking its head out, batting its huge round eyes curiously at Zhang Yi.

Pulled from a deep slumber, it seemed utterly confused.

Catching the noise, Zhang Yi whipped his head around to spot it, then flipped up his face shield.

"Sorry, sorry, did I wake you up?"

Spotting Zhang Yi, Frog bounded over in glee.

Gazing at the mech adorning Zhang Yi, its eyes sparkled like stars as it rubbed its paws in thrill.

"Wow! It's actually a mech, that's so incredibly cool!"

Once a human himself, Frog found it hard to resist the allure of mechs and excavators, like most guys out there.

Zhang Yi grinned at Frog, "This round, you've snoozed for a pretty long stretch once more."

Frog slapped its fluffy white tummy, "Sleeping is such a wonderful thing! In this life, I, Frog, love three things most: catching bugs, sleeping, and sharing beautiful music with friends!"

This sparked a sudden thought in Zhang Yi's head.

"Frog, you love eating bugs so much. How would you feel about raising bugs?"

Frog's skill appeared to have a unique edge over insects.

Though it might falter against advanced bugs, training it to oversee the Ground Centipede Breeding Farm could double the output with less work.

Frog's eyes gleamed, "Will the bugs be unlimited?"

Zhang Yi's eye twitched slightly.

Unlimited?

The Ground Centipede Eggs came from the Broodmother after it gobbled tons of Elemental Stone ore. Their casings shimmered in vivid colors, and the hatched Ground Centipedes ranked among the toughest.

Letting Frog chow down without limits... well, it probably couldn't polish off that much regardless.

Each grew to thousands of jin at minimum, packed with protein far exceeding beef.

"That can be arranged."

Zhang Yi affirmed.

Frog bounced around excitedly a few times, "Ribbit, ribbit! That would be absolutely fantastic."

Zhang Yi led Frog back home. The family rushed up, inquiring about how his new armor performed.

Zhang Yi flashed a thumbs up, "It simply couldn't be stronger! This mech suit has me very satisfied."

He guided Frog along and told Zhou Ke'er, "Ke'er, Frog will also help you manage the farm from now on."

Leaning in, he murmured to Zhou Ke'er, "If we ever leave someday, someone will need to help us watch the bugs at home. To avoid any incidents."

Without their oversight, these fearsome Ground Centipedes might spark a nightmarish catastrophe across the Jiangnan Region. Zhang Yi had to stay extra vigilant.

Zhou Ke'er smiled and nodded knowingly, "With Frog's help, managing the farm in the future will be much simpler."

She beckoned to Frog and headed to the farm to share tips on breeding Ground Centipedes.

Zhang Yi approached the buzzing-with-energy Lu Keran.

Lu Keran's eyes glittered. Seeing his creation praised by Zhang Yi sent waves of joy through him.

That was the ultimate thrill for any tech whiz.

"Ke Ran, thank you so much for your continuous help."

Zhang Yi spoke with genuine warmth.

Lu Keran's cheeks turned crimson. He balled his fists, palms damp from the rush of excitement.

"This mech suit can only achieve its maximum effect when worn by you, brother!"

"From now on, when you, brother, roam anywhere in this world, people will see my masterpiece. That is my greatest reward!"

"So brother, I should be the one thanking you, for giving me this opportunity!"

Zhang Yi offered a gentle smile, "So we've kind of achieved success together, right?"

Lu Keran nodded firmly.

Zhang Yi peeked sideways. Old You and Fatty Xu stood nearby, fixated on the flawless exoskeleton mech suit enveloping him, their gazes alight with more fervor than spotting a stunning beauty.

Old You envisioned a mighty tool to amp up battle strength.

Fatty Xu pictured a colossal Gundam model.

Then Zhang Yi asked Lu Keran, "Can this type of armor be mass-produced?"

Lu Keran anticipated this query from Zhang Yi ages ago.

He answered, "Given enough materials and time, I could replicate another set in a month. However, this suit of armor was tailor-made for you, brother. It wouldn't suit others."

For example, the armor forged for Old You.

Weapons would take center stage there, since Old You's strikes were straightforward, missing ranged attack options.

As for Fatty Xu's gear... skip it, just stick him with basic arms, emphasizing carry weight and getaway speed.

In fights, if Fatty Xu could bolt to safety and unleash area-control abilities, that'd suffice.

Zhang Yi scratched his nose, "That's true."

Mass production held little value, as each superhuman's powers varied widely.

Plus, crafting armor drained Lu Keran of heaps of effort and superhuman energy.

"If possible, still craft a set for everyone. They don't need to be too powerful. As before, prioritize survival and escape capabilities."

Lu Keran grinned and nodded, "I've already considered that point. When crafting the Hidden Dragon, there were over a dozen experimental units. Although their performance isn't as good as the Hidden Dragon's, they're still decent for self-defense."

"I'll modify them, and they can be used by everyone later."

Zhang Yi eyed Lu Keran with interest, "What about you yourself?"

Lu Keran linked his hands behind, flashing a enigmatic grin and wagging his head, "I'll make do with something simpler."

Zhang Yi's look grew wary at once.

"Is it some kind of super secret weapon?"

Lu Keran nudged him, "You'll find out later! But mine can't be shown to you for now, because it's not finished. And that one of mine, only I can pilot it."
